The second installment of this series is exactly what you’d expect. Merging two powerful families - the Russians and Greeks - through marriage. Not everyone appreciates or trusts the merger and violence and betrayal ensue. FMC loses her virginity to an unknown man prior to the wedding and he turns out to be her intended husband. No spoilers in this review but you can guess what happens. On page violence that underscores MMC’s ruthlessness. His softer side is shown by having feelings for his new wife. Also, on page kidnapping and violence toward FMC leading to heartache. Lots of typos and problems with feminine pronouns referring to male characters and vice versa. Sometimes word choice doesn’t make sense so not sure if that was intentional or if the autocorrect just picked the wrong word. Probably will skip the next in the series as these same issues plagued the first book. The story arcs are also too similar so why read the same story but with different names of characters?
Whew. This one had me hooked from the very first chapter. Yelena is the kind of heroine I love—sharp, unbothered, and playing by her own rules, even when the world expects her to bend. And Aithan? Cold. Calculated. Dangerous. But beneath that armor, he’s carrying the kind of heartbreak that guts you.
Their chemistry is magnetic. Sparks fly, tempers flare, and when they finally crash into each other, it’s messy, intense, and completely addictive. The one-night stand twist into an arranged marriage? Yes, please. Watching them navigate power, politics, and personal scars had me flipping pages late into the night.
If you love morally grey heroes with wounded hearts, heroines who give as good as they get, and mafia stakes that feel personal and deadly, this book delivers. It’s dark, emotional, and hot in all the right ways. Aithan and Yelena’s story is unforgettable.

Savage Obsession is quite suspenseful and a page turning mafia romance. The story is fabulously written, exceptionally balanced and perfectly executed by DC BEKS. This author continues to showcase what a phenomenal author they are with each book I’ve read by them. I can hardly wait to read more phenomenal romances from DC BEKS in the future. Savage Obsession follows the story of Aithan and Yelena. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. I absolutely loved learning about who Aithan and Yelena were as the main characters of this amazing story. The chemistry between these two characters is absolutely breathtaking and undeniably irresistible. Savage Obsession is most definitely a mafia romance that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a new mafia romance to read.

Do you know that feeling when you're super excited to cook a dish? You go all out—buy fancy ingredients, get your hopes high, thinking it'll turn out amazing. But then the recipe flops. You end up with this weird blob that tastes okay in parts, but overall? A disaster.
That’s exactly how I felt reading this book.
We had a good FMC, an average MMC, and a simple plot that could’ve worked—but the execution? Yikes. The story had no flow. Scenes jumped with no transition, the connection between the MMC and FMC was practically non-existent until suddenly—bam—they have sex after marriage and now everything’s magically perfect? Sorry, no.
Also, I’ve got a bone to pick with Mr. MMC. This man acted like marrying another woman was betraying his dead wife, all dramatic and broody. But did he have any problem sleeping with random women before the marriage? Absolutely not. Like… whatttt? Make it make sense.
Overall, this book had moments, but they were buried under too much mess.
This story had potential and could have been better. Execution was off as well as typos and misuse of words throughout the book. The author is new to me and has potential but needs to get an editor who can clean things up so that the story has a decent flow without gaps that leave the reader thinking what? I felt at times that I was having to fill in parts of the story in my head in order to make sense of the story.
Aithen and Yelena's characters grew on me as the story progressed. The story itself wasn't a surprise because it was basically the same scenario of an arranged marriage with no "got ya's" to make it stand out from all the rest. Yelena's character was the most promising while Aithen was just the usual "anti-hero" who considered Yelena "mine". I really hope that authors begin to find another description of how these guys feel about the MFC in these books, because that is getting really old and overused.
I really wanted to give this one a 5⭐️s ! The story line was amazing! I loved the chemistry between the MCs.
The beginning started off strong. Great flow, with just the right amount of spice not cringy or overly drawn out. The push and pull between the two MCs was great. There were many laugh out loud moments and many awe how sweet moments.
With that being said the build up to the conflict felt rushed and jumpy. The sentence structure kept throwing me off as well. It wasn’t just a miss spelled word. The wrong word was used all together throwing it completely off. Things and beta reader or alpha read should have corrected.
All in all I did love the characters though! Along with it being a book that I devour without overthinking. Which is always a win in my book.
Savage Obsession is an arranged marriage story and my first read by this author. It's Aithan and Yelena's story and it's quite fantastic! It's a Greek Mafia journey and I do love the Greek Mafia! There are topics that may be sensitive to some readers so make sure you check trigger warnings before you start reading this one. Yelena Makarov is the Makarov Bratva Princess and Aithan Vasilios is the Vasilios Mafia Heir. Their journey is intense, emotional, dramatic and at times heartbreaking. They face so much throughout their journey to forever and it strengthens and their resolve to obtain that happily ever after. This book is an absolute must read!
"There is only us—bound by love, desire, and a promise that will last a lifetime.
I have it 3 stars since I just couldn’t finish it. There was a lot of stupid things that happened that made u think “wait what?” For example: Russian princess out in the bar all by herself w/no protection- finds a random guy who she sleeps with & loses her virginity to a complete stranger. The book keep repeating it self- like literally saying the exact same thing. A few chapters feels like fluff with no rhyme or reason. I stopped at 53% (pg 176). The characters- I love the female character the guy- I find him a little weak.
Personally, the plot wasn’t bad, but the writing level just wasn’t there for me. There was a lot of repetitiveness, and the spacing in the paragraphs drove me up a wall that style is definitely not my preference.
I did like the direction the author took the FMC, but the MMC? Lord. His emotional intelligence felt like watching two rocks try to communicate. Irritating in a way that pulled me out of the story more than once.
Overall, not the worst plot, but the execution made it hard for me to stay invested.
Theirs was an arranged marriage that was meant to unite the families and nothing more. Close proximity has feelings growing and obsession in the makes. Their journey is marked by perilous struggles and through it all they endured to come out victoriously. Aithan and Yelena had me in their corner cheering them on to getting their chance for happiness.

So, we've had the Bratva, the Irish, Scottish and Italian mobs. Now the Greek mob joins the pantheon. This was highly entertaining with a much older male protagonist than usual. He carried a complex backstory worthy of any Greek tragedy. A welcome return for Yelena, too, one of my favourite characters from this series of books. All in all, a very satisfying conclusion to her arc.
There are lots of flames going on in this one. A lot of sexy times. A good read. I really liked the MMC and the MFC. They fit well together. 4 stars because there was one confusing part, when she was knocked out, the dress was too tight to move but when they found her the dress flowed around her. It might be the way i took it, but pieces like that are confusing. But it was a good book. Good read, you won't be disappointed. HEA
2.5⭐️ Sex scene are repetitive therefore skipped and "his pewter eyes" was even mentioned by Viktor which you know is team too much when the author has another man mentioning another man's eyes and this ain't a MM book😆. Yeah, this book had a lot of repetitiveness. Up to if you read or not.🙋🏽♀️
Wow! This book was wonderful, fabulous, amazing, a page turner! At page one, I was drawn in and I fell in love with the story line and the characters. Definitely read this book. Shirley
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story line was just enough different that it captured my mind. The characters were believable and the story line was captivating. I highly recommend this read. Enjoy!
Decent story and I will finish the series. However, the amount of errors in these books is crazy just like the first one this one has misspelling, has duplicated phrases, duplicated paragraphs. It’s enough to make your nuts.
I absolutely loved this book. They are a power couple. It has been hard lately to find a book that has kept my attention and enthusiasm to keep reading, but this book I read nonstop in one sitting. Amazing would definitely recommend
Overall, I enjoyed the book and would give it 3 stars. The highlight for me was definitely Yelena — strong, inspiring, and wonderfully written. Even though some parts of the story could have been handled better, her character alone made the reading experience worthwhile
Viktor’s sister Yelena is asked to marry Aithan Vasilios to strengthen their alliance. Aithan finds out in quick order that Yelena is not some weak spineless girl but a strong, opinionated and intelligent woman. Good story.
I enjoyed savage obsession which was Aithan and Yelena’s story. It was an intriguing and emotional roller coaster. I got a copy of the book and voluntarily leaving this review.
Too many mistakes for me to enjoy a decent story. Won’t read the author’s books as it would just not be worth the time. Go back and read what you wrote and fixit.
Fast paced..danger..intrigue..betrayal.. Love..lust..this book was everything and more. From the first chapters to the ending. They love each other. thank you
I wish they were more were they are now how many children they all of it. The extra didn’t help me I wanted more about them. Maybe another book about them
