Happy 63rd birthday Spider-Man! Except it was June 5th and today’s June 11th but this is Spider-Man’s anniversary book for the year, and it was released today so it’s good enough. The first three stories were great, the last one was just an ad for the new Kid Venom team up book. I especially liked Al Ewing’s story and Cafu’s art on Chip Zdarsky’s story. Those two names being attached to this book was most of the reason I bought the book and I wasn’t disappointed.

I enjoyed the story and Spider-Man's new suit. Hope it lasts. The new hero was also good, and Spider-Man showed a side to himself that wasn't about punching heads.

Celebrating New York's favorite web-head today in a light-hearted, escape of Marvel sized shenanigans. Spider-Man endures and it boggles the mind that a few talented artists and writers can still find new stories to tell.

I enjoyed the variety of stories and art styles in this one. There was not a single story that I did not enjoy. The third story by Chip was probably my favorite. It was a fun use of a super power and had a heartwarming story.

just a bunch of Spider-Man stories bundled together...
and FUN!!

(Did I mention there's a Kevin Smith story in here?)
This is a great 'sit outside in the summer sun and read a comic book' type book.

Really a 3.5, but I felt like being generous because I was in a good mood by the time I finished reading.
