Ehhhh. The main problem with this is the supposedly charismatic, attractive, strong and virtuous alternate love interest, as opposed to the villainized hubby. The problem with him is he's a self-absorbed self-indulgent posturing child-man, presented as if he were a perfect otherworldly being.
It's quite a fun read, but her character assessments are urghhhhh. She makes continual excuses for absolutely appalling characters with no redeeming features. Kick 'em to the curb, lovey.
