Inara Gage is an indie author who lives in the foothills of Colorado with her son, Gauge, her mastador, Khaleesi, kitty Nox, and her bunny tWitch. Ms. Gage has a master's degree in business administration with a graduate certificate in marketing. She has three published works: two in The Sorenya Chronicles: A Witch's Aura and Aura's Dilemma. The first book in The Beautifully Broken Saga: A Bond with the Dark Book I releases this summer. When she is not writing her fantastical stories, she is busy reading ALL the books and playing video games with her kid!
It’s wonderful to see our heroine Sayah is getting even stronger with each book, she has already been through so much (divorce, leukemia, losing her parents) and yet things just keep piling up. Being abducted by the evil fae king Tristan, Sayah is forced to be even stronger than she already was.
The story was quite heartbreaking, and had me confused so many times. (Which side is this character on? What just happened and why? Who is this Nyxaria and why does Sayah seem to have some connection to her?)… Who am I kidding, this whole book was twisted and confusing. There is so much happening at the same time, it kind of felt like a collision between different storylines and different worlds.
While some of the questions I had after the previous book were answered in this one, I am yet again left with even more new questions. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see, and try my best to be patient for the next book. 😉
I was so happy to for this book to come out to see what happens with Bash and Sayah. I’m not going to lie I was a bit confused by all that was going on and all the characters(older lady brain and lack of an attention span), but I still really enjoyed the action and the banter. Henry and Bash’s banter was absolutely the best! Sayah and Bash together never disappoints and when Sayah meets Bash’s demon holy hell! This was one of those books where you just weren’t sure who to trust or who to actually root for. Now the wait for the final book!
This is a roller coaster of emotional trauma, in all the best ways. I was laughing, crying and yelling WTF throughout the entire book.
Just when I thought I couldn’t love these characters anymore, we get a whole new slew of situations that not only solidifies the initial love but gives a whole new tier of character obsession.
Inara you and the hold you have on me with this 📖..
First off let me just say this was a great book to this saga 👌. Questions from the pervious book was answered with anew at the forefront. this was a gripping read from start to finish. this has Triggers so be warned be for reading.
Book 3 is such an emotional roller coaster. I had no idea what was happening, who was the real enemy, or what would happen next. Definitely check the triggers on this one. Things that I love included, sassy ghosts, wild spice, found family, urban fantasy, and all the unique beings!
