They built a company together .
Now they might destroy it—for each other.

Dante Marchesi is the chaos. Grant Harrow is the control.
Together, they built one of the city’s most powerful architecture firms—until ego, betrayal, and one very public punch turned them into a ticking time bomb.

Now, with their empire on the verge of collapse, the board gives them two weeks to fix their mess. Their last chance arrives in stilettos and a red dress.

Eve Sterling doesn’t do feelings. As The Black Ledger’s most coveted companion, she’s a fixer—trained to seduce, deconstruct, and rebuild even the most broken men. But this job is different. These men have history. And desire. And something dangerously unresolved between them.

She’s here to help them work together.
She didn’t expect to be caught between them.
And they never expected her to see them—not just their masks, but what they want beneath.

What begins as a power play spirals into obsession, and Eve sets the
If they want her, they’ll have to want each other.

A strategic seduction. A buried secret. A love story no one saw coming.
This isn’t just about saving the firm anymore.

It’s about surrendering to the one thing they were never allowed to want—each other.

Rebekah Sinclair writes books that bite back.
Dark rom-coms. Greek mythology retellings. Wicked fae. Billionaire antiheroes. Her stories blend unhinged humor, high-stakes heat, and emotional wreckage you’ll thank her for later.

With 11 published novels (and plenty more on the way), Rebekah has built a world of morally gray men, stabby women, and plot twists that hit like a betrayal kink. Whether you’re into serial killers with soft spots, gods who fall too hard, or fae realms soaked in shadow, there’s a love story in her lineup that will ruin you—in the best way.

Off the page, Rebekah is a single mom to five wildly chaotic kids and four fur-babies (two cats, two dogs, all equally dramatic). Writing started as her escape. Now it's her full-blown career, complete with exclusive covers, spicy book boxes, and signings where readers show up wearing eyeliner sharper than her plot twists.

When she’s not writing, she’s probably hiding from her kids in the pantry, pretending to be brainstorming.

Welcome to Rebekah Sinclair’s world.
The spice is high. The stakes are higher.
And no one makes it out emotionally intact.

This book did have spelling errors and the big twist was that one of the guys was scared to be bi because he thought anal killed his mum.

However, I loved that the consultant who’s an escort for the love of the game solved two murders and just moved on with her life.

Ok as expected this is my favorite in the series so far. When I heard this was an MMF I was salivating for MONTHS waiting for it and it was worth every agonizing second. If you took all the spice out of this (insane idea, but stay with me on this one) the emotion and the healing and the character dynamics would be more than enough to carry this story, this is smut with a backbone. I was trying so hard to piece this puzzle together and I was partly right but also shocked to the core. What an ending! Now put every ounce of spice back in because I am sweating just thinking about it. 100/10. Infinite stars. Yes. Yes. YES.

I had a goodtime reading this book. It had some really good spice, and I really enjoyed the plot especially towards the end of the book because while I had been able to piece together how I thought it was going to end but there were some surprises I did not see coming so that is always a good thing.

This book has three MCs, Dante, Grant and Eve. Each character had some pluses and minus for me, but they all had some great chemistry. With Eve I enjoyed her confidence, brains, sass and ingenuity and while she had SCORCHING HOT chemistry with the other two MCs especially Dante, she did feel a little bit more like an accessory but that makes sense as you read the book and things become clearer. With Grant he was a sweetheart who is one tight-laced ball of stress, and you definitely want to hug him but at the same time I wanted to shake him because it is so obvious he is being manipulated, and he just needed to stand up for himself and get himself in therapy bc he has some issues. With Dante he is definitely a man whore and he is entertaining but, in some ways, I also felt like he needed to grow a set of balls as big as his dick because the petty ways he let Courtney walk over him to make him look incompetent when there were ways to put her on blast. I mean it would have been petty, but they already think him incompetent so why not because how can you let this go on for almost 5 years. But also, if you want them to not treat you like you're a fuckup stop giving them a reason too with the childish bs you were doing. Don't get me wrong it was entertaining to read but I just wanted to shake him too.

Overall, I did find the book very entertaining with the plot that kept me turning the pages and had some surprises for me which I always enjoy and I enjoyed the chemistry between the characters and I was so happy when Grant finally saw through all the bullshit and stood up for himself and finally admitted his feelings to himself and Dante. This book isn't totally a slow burn as there is spice early on but only for some of the characters but there is a lot of tension that was buildup which is why when Dante and Grant kissed for the first time I screamed FINALLY!!!

I am definitely enjoying the Black ledger series and having read all three books they are true standalones and don't have to be read in order and I am excited to see what the next book has in store for us.

------

This book is about Dante and Grant who were born into legacy—but they might be the ones to burn it down. Their fathers built one of the most powerful architectural firms in the industry. Now, Dante and Grant stand at the helm, but instead of building each other up, they’re tearing everything apart. Ego clashes, betrayals, and years of resentment—fueled by Dante’s reckless impulsiveness and Grant’s need for control. All leading to an explosive moment for all to see that now has their board questioning their ability to lead the company. With only a little time to prove their worth and take back control of their family's company they turn to the Eve with The Black Ledger. Eve is one of the most coveted companions for many reasons but is known to be a fixer who can identify a problem, break it down and then build it up better than ever. Their hope is that she will be able to do the same with them. To break down the barriers they have built up over time so that they can finally work through the BS and resolve things once and for all. But when breaking down their walls has them unleashing all their desires with her caught in the middle this becomes about more than just about helping them so that they can save their company but more about surrendering to what they have always wanted... each other. But as they opening up also means the secrets they’ve buried threaten to destroy not just their fragile bond, but everything they’ve fought to protect as well.

False advertising.
First, the boys are not rivals and they're not the ones obsessed.
Second, not MMF romance, it's a MM romance with MF and MMF scenes with an escort. She's being paid to have sex with them. She loves it, but it's not romantic.
Third, dark, to me, would mean darkness (stalker, blackmail, all the trigger warning) *between the main characters* and there's not. They're two best friends who've been in love forever and the escort helps them sort it out through gratuitous sex. Not through romance: no dates, handholding or even flirting. Straight up smut.

There's just an unhinged female running around who's doing dark things and was the child abuse victim.

I was not aware of your game Rebekah Sinclair.
Why was this so good? The writing was phenomenal and the characters were hot as hell. Even though I guessed like 65% of the plot, it didn't make it any less fun to read. And Eve omg. I think I'm in love with her. This book should be labelled as MM instead of MMF because my girlie was like "I came in, solved all your problems and shooed out like it's nothing" I need 5 more books with her immediately. I think I'm gonna read this series just to see more glimpses of her. And because I'm impressed by the writing and will definitely read all the other books by this author

I’m OBSESSED! 🥰

The way I can visualize Rebekah plotting this book with Gnome like an evil mastermind getting ready to take over the world is sending me into orbit 🤣. I’m obsessed and I’m in love with Eve, Dante, and Grant. The pacing mixed with a dash of blood-soaked mystery kept me on my toes. The spice was top tier as always, but my M/M loving heart has a special place for this novel always. The love story was epic and their passion for each other could burn the world down. My flabbers? Gasted. Screams? Scrumpt. 100/10 recommend.

Wasn’t expecting that plot twist at the end…omg sooo twisted. Liked this more than I thought I would but should be labeled MM (with MMF action) bc tbh the fmc was more of a side in the action…don’t get me wrong I really liked eve but dante and grant had way waaay more fire together that they either had with her.

High 3.5-4⭐️’s for me something about it was missing the extra factor to push it to 5 starts which it easily could’ve been for me. I felt the pacing/writing at time was slightly clunky but did not take away from the story too much (that’s just me being picky tbh) which also slightly lowers the rating.

Now onto the story… this was such a beautiful premise and kinda second chance romance between our MMC’s with twists along the way (some I saw coming some I did not). I loved our FMC, she was so strong willed and had such determination but they way she was there to bring the MMC’s together, I haven’t read a MMF book like this ever before and it was so beautifully well done.

I’m not usually a fan of the bi-awakening trope (as it usually filled with homophobia and all seem cut and past to me) but something about the way this was written and more of an internal struggle for Grant like he was denying himself what he really wanted was a breath of fresh air.

Story - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Writing - ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Characters- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall, if you’re an MMF fan, I recommend this read!

What did I just read?

Eve is a paid whore.

Dante is a toxic manwhore. He wants to hurt Grant by f#cking anything with a hole and makes sure Grants sees it because he kind of rejected him (or so he thought).

Eve and Dante bully Grant into coming out.

Eve had literally no business being in this book. Dante and Grant could've solved it by being honest with eachother instead of bringing someone in for Grant to accept being into Dante.

Why are all the ledger whores described as super smart detectives who can solve world peace?

We’ve got Dante, the ultimate playboy who’s not shy about anything, Grant, the strait-laced man, and Eve, our sassy queen untangling all the drama from our boys past with each turn of the card 😉. This book is pure fire from the very first sentence—the spice level is off the charts, but don’t worry, there’s plenty of plot, a bit of mystery, and a whole lot of fun. It’s is an easy one-day read that leaves you both blushing and guessing, and I absolutely loved every second of it!
