2 1/2 - seems unfamiliar with Chekhov's gun. Lots of stuff is thrown in that feels like it is going to be important (for example BOTH OF THEM HAVING DOCUMENTS SAYING THE RANCH IS THEIRS) that then don't get referenced again. The timeline is inconsistent too - was she back a month ago for the funeral? Did his dad die a decade ago? Does she have an idea and implement it on national television the following day? And a big 11th hour emotional reveal which really seems thrown in just to delay the HEA.
