2 1/2 - seems unfamiliar with Chekhov's gun. Lots of stuff is thrown in that feels like it is going to be important (for example ) that then don't get referenced again. The timeline is inconsistent too - was she back a month ago for the funeral? Did his dad die a decade ago? Does she have an idea and implement it on national television the following day? And a big 11th hour emotional reveal which really seems thrown in just to delay the HEA.
