3 ⭐️ MIGHT BE A ME PROBLEM …
I don’t know if my brain wasn’t in the right space or if I just read this too fast but I struggled a bit with the pacing in this one. It felt like things were happening very quickly. Sometimes with zero lead-in or context and I kept going back thinking I’d missed something. But nope, it just happened suddenly: a lot.
The FMC was instantly obsessed with Luke (the professor/headmaster/vampire/supernatural daddy trifecta) but we didn’t really get much build-up or understanding of why. And that kind of vibe happened quite a few times throughout the book - like the plot didn’t really stop to breathe it just kept charging ahead.
That said, I might give it another read sometime, just to see if it sits differently. I do read pretty fast and maybe I missed something. My best friend recommended it and she LOVED it … and usually we have the same taste, so I’m not totally writing it off. But for now it’s a solid 3 stars from me.

(((Screams))) I've finally gotten my grabby hands on Daddy Blackthorn's book. I can't tell you how excited and how I've been counting down the books until this came out. My word was it worth the wait.
Luke (Headmaster Blackthorn) is definitely a dark horse in this series. Underneath all that straight-laced, rule following strictness is plenty of hotness. My word did I enjoy reading that. Add to that Dante and Felix who each brought their own personalities, wit and steaminess. Gaida is a very lucky lady in this book. All of which made for one hell of a start to this series. With great plot twists, turns and one naughty cliffhanger ending.

Omg I was thrilled to get my hands on this book!!! Back at MistHallow Academy. And that means Luke( need I say more) Blackthorne. I feel like Ive been waiting for this one and wow I was so NOT disappointed.
Loved reading about Gaida. Her personality is the best. So cannot forget Dante and Felix since they are both also my favorites. No spoilers. I will say ends on cliffhanger……so not happy. Now to count down till the next book. It’s definitely needed. Highly recommend reading.

Plot: 3.5/5 • Smut: 3/5 ———-> The beginning of this was so good. We meet all of our characters. Dante, her perfect match. Luke, the desired headmaster. Felix, the perfect fit. The middle and ending left little to be desired. It just seemed to fall flat.
The smut was written well. It was great between dante. and also great with Luke. The build up to Luke was what made it great.

I love a powerful FMC!! And this did not disappoint.
Let’s talk about our wonderful girl shall we!!!
I have been waiting for Gaida to get her on story! And the wait was well worth it. Well to the degree that we know Eves writing by now, we know what to expect right! Ha wrong!! She is the perfect balance between a softie and a girl who’s baddie side fights for just as much dominance.
Her men, Dante Felix and Luke- man I swear these men just keep getting better and better with each book I read. It’s like Eve knows the men we dream of and then poof she throws them into a book and we’re addicted.
This is one of those books that you NEED to have on your shelf as soon as possible. If you love watching not just a woman, but all of her three wonderfully selections men come into their own then this is all for you. 100%

I have been DYING for Luke's story, he is such an amazing headmaster and really has had in the words of one of my FAVORITE characters of all time, Dr Frank-N-Furter "Ant-i-p-acion" building! We have popped back to our favorite school of higher learning Misthallow to check in on Gaida, she is spunky and determined with a capital D. I cant go into TOO much detail with out spilling all the BREATHTAKING secrets that this book has to spill but O.M.G that girl and these men! I am already DYING for the 2nd book to come out because that ending!* fans herself* I literally screamed out loud so loud that my BOSS CAME AND CHECKED ON ME!!! I will be reading this one over and over again to be sure.

Everything I wanted for Luke’s story and more!
The anticipation for Luke's story was real did not disappoint! I'm completely enamorred by the chemistry and fire between Luke and Gaida, it is quite the push and pull. After meeting her in earlier Misthallow books, I wanted more of her, and their pairing is perfect. This trilogy, while set in the familiar Misthallow universe, offers its own distinct story and is full of character suprises! The addition of Felix and Dante enriches the story and I love each of thier relationships with Gaida!

I'm so happy that MistHallow Academy has continued.
This book follows Giada, Headmaster Luke Blackthorn, Dante DuLoc, and Felix Davenport. Luke's sire wants something that Luke is denying even himself. A beautiful pureblood vampire - Giada. When Giada's power comes out to play, Dante and Felix are quick to rally behind her. Luke needs a little more convincing though. Never fear, Dante has all sorts of wonderful ideas.
Giada and her men need to try to figure out how to control her powers and keep Giada alive.

I have been wanting my favorite headmasters story since he was first mentioned, and oh my. I don't think I properly prepared myself for this book. There's so much going on, not only at our favorite school but everywhere. I can't say more about that without giving away secrets. Mind blown and all that. Just know that once you start? You can't stop, and be on the lookout for some favorites to make an appearance

I went into this book blind and was pleasantly surprised. I do think it primarily focused on character and relationship building, however the plot picked up speed rapidly throughout. While the overall concept of the book is common to many out there, I think the author did a good job making her story unique.

We finally get Blackthorn’s story!!! There is so much more to him than meets the eye, and in this book the surface is only scratched!! Add in one of the only pure blood vampires and a dark sorcerer going after the girl, and you end up with a very lucky girl with a hot harem of men!
Can’t wait to see what the next book unravels!!

I AM NOT OKAY!! This book had me on the biggest and most thrilling rollercoaster ride, yet! I did NOT see these twist coming and the cameos that showed up!! What a treat! This is the ABSOLUTE BEST academy PNR yet!! Could not put it down!! I need this book on my shelf like yesterday. This is a must read!!
Gaida- MY GIRL! I have waited for her to have her own story and now it is here!! She is a baddie with a soft heart and the way she went in and changed things up is crazy!! I can talk all day about our Queen but I don't like spoiling the fun. Gotta read this book!
Dante- Okay this man felt like a sleeper, he just came on to the screen and BAM he grabs your heart and takes it for himself. I love how he is with Gaida and his openness. He is a breath of fresh air.
Felix- I KNEW he was going to be this amazing misunderstood character. He is hilarious and I love how his personality comes out during his bonding moments! (You have to read it to understand)
Luke- I have waited and waited for this mans story and I was not disappointed about it at all. I was warned about the layers of this man and I thought I was ready....I WAS WRONG! I did not see any of these twist and turns! He is my absolute favorite person at MistHallow and that is saying something to people that know my other loves from this school.
I am having trust issues with the dads in this book and it can either break my heart or make me proud. I haven't decided yet.
If you haven't read this book yet or any that belongs in this amazing world you are missing out. Eve Newton has made a world that I want to live in. I highly recommend this book and author.

Ok hear me out. This is absolutely the best I've read in a while. Course we are back at the familiar MistHallow Academy and I love the world the author created here. This one is with a very strong FMC but Gaida takes the cake on that one. Oh oh best news yet! Blackthorn is one of the love interest and I wasn't ready but now I definitely want more on that. He is just everything you could want and more! There's also two other and they're equally hot and dashing. Lol had to throw this in. Anyway this is such an enthralling story and I can't wait for more. The cliffy is brutal like jumping of the edge of the Mount Everest. But this author writes quickly so the wait isn't long. In the meantime I'm definitely re-reading this. The must read if ever!

Just know that I squealed like a hyperactive toddler given glucose when something happened. My heart pounded and I felt lightheaded - yes it was that momentous to me.
This book ends on one heck of a cliff hanger - tbh it's more of a fall off the edge of the world type Cliffie! So be warned it's epic and no I didn't see it coming at all!

I have always admired Luke throughout the. Perhaps he grew me, as in the first series he was not my favorite. However, now he has his journey alongside a strong and remarkable MFC, and I truly appreciated how fully committed he became I thoroughly enjoyed this part of the journey and am eager to see what Eve has in store next. That cameo was absolutely incredible—it was the one I never knew I needed!

I'm so glad Gaida got her story! Gaida is a Pureblood vampire we met in a previous Mist Hollow series. She's infatuated with the Headmaster, Luke Blackthorn(swooonnn)and she isnt sure why. She also meets 2 others, Dante, another pureblood vampire and Felix, a dark mage, who she also has feelings for. The action in this book is wonderful and the spice is hot🌶🌶🔥🔥. That cliffy!!! I can't wait for the next book!!

I swooned. I laughed. I shook my finger and Tsk'd at Luke way too often! Eve has struck gold once again! If you're on the fence on waiting for the others to be released, it's one I will reread as each new book in the trilogy is released. It was just that fun! Gaida is the sass I have been missing in my life. Dante & Felix weren't too shabby either *wink*.

I have been waiting for this series with headmaster Blackthorn, and it was so worth the wait. Gaida has three love interests Headmaster Blackthorn, Dante, and Felix. There is a forbidden element that draws you in leaving you hoping it works out for Gaida. The cliffhanger at the end is typical of Eve Newtown. It's always an unsuspecting ending

There were so many reasons that I was excited to see this book has landed. We not only get Luke's story but also a few surprises along the way while back at MistHallow Academy. The chemistry was beyond hot with Luke and Gaida. This was an incredible read that has me wanting more of Luke and the rest.

Not me reading at work! 🤐 I was desperate for Luke’s story and Eve did not disappoint! Again just an amazing dynamic cast of characters and their relationship was 🥵 and everything I NEEDED. I didn’t realize I had finished until I ran out of pages! I’ll be chomping at the bit for the sexy installment! Don’t miss out on this one, folks!

This book was actually pretty decent. The plot was good. I liked the FMC and I also enjoyed the MMC’s. I do wish there was a little bit more relationship progression with Felix. And I didn’t fully feel the chemistry between her and Dante. The author told us about it, but didn’t show us if you know what I mean.
All in all a very enjoyable reading and I would recommend.

Loved it
This book has a great plot. The characters are interesting and the pacing is on point. That being said, the last Mist Hollow series I read started out great, with a strong female lead, and went downhill. I am hopeful that this one won't do that. I look forward to reading the next book.

I love every mmc in the fmc'sharem -- the smex scene with the Fmc & Dante were delicious & so was the one with the fmc & Luke. Hit hot hot.

We funally get Blackthorns story and boy does it start of great. Things you never thought would be are and Gaida a bloodborn vampire will stop at nothing to get what she wants. This book gives so many possibilities and its nice to see mote of what Blackthorn is capable of.

Usually I wait until all the books are out before reading a series, but when I saw Luke Blackthorn was finally featured, I couldn't wait. I devoured it as soon as I started it. Now I can't wait for the next one!

April 21, 2025This one wasn’t for me. I didn’t get emotionally invested and attached to any of the MCs. The FMC was fine but nothing really made me root for her and I didn’t find any of the MMCs particularly swoonworthy 🤷♀️
