According to The Yaoi Review (2009-12-31), she is back with a continuation of an ongoing manga to be released in English in February. Her moe point is older ukes.
I was thrilled to see that the series was continuing, though I had been plenty happy with the first fourteen volumes!
I like that there's direction here: the author is focusing on Iwaki and Katou's relationship with the next generation, both relatives and actors, and it provides plenty of plot to engage with.
I like, given that we're now in the twenty-teens rather than '00 when the story started being written, that Iwaki can comfortably come to peace within himself that he's been gay all this time, but without a real outlet to learn about himself until Katou pushed himself into Iwaki's life. On its own that felt like great payoff for the previous run of the series.
I am inadvertendly learning a fair bit about Japanese culture, particularly around family, which is interesting; Iwaki's relationship with Katou's nephew and the spoilery reveal of a certain person adds some beautiful depth to his characterization, which was already very well rendered.
I love Katou's unfailing support of Iwaki, even (or especially) when Iwaki doesn't realize he needs it.
Anyway. Thrilled this is continuing. Well recommended.
I love this manga series. This edition is mainly for those who are already fans.If this is the first time you are reading about this couple I recommend you read the entire series.Maybe you'll be as enchanted by Katou and Iwaki as I am.I hope the writer writes other chapters.
