Fascinating case studies
There are 30 chapters about serial killers, varied as to time and place, and each one is a monster. They must have had a tremendous amount of hatred for the human race and for the world in general.
There are no wives who poisoned their husbands for the insurance money. There are no men who snapped and punched a child too hard. These monsters are dedicated killers who seemed to take great pleasure in killing, regardless of the victims' age, sex, or social status.
As for motive, when one was noted, one woman murdered her friends and used their fat to make soap and their blood to make teacakes.
