Firstly, this book looks and feels beautiful. It invites you to pick it up and dip in here and there. It’s seasonal and I plan to read it as such through the coming year, but it is also so nice to just open pages at random.

A beautifully designed book that is a wonderful addition to anyone’s library who is interested in either living seasonally or is a bookworm. I’m enjoying the seasonal quotes which is a wonderful collection of the familiar and the new. Love the seasonal recipes and suggestions as well.

From the salt air of August to the forthcoming mist of September, the phase of transition is now starting to knock on our windows; and in those moments of metamorphosing is a sudden desire for a cradle in pages that celebrates the upcoming season. With greatest awe and loveliest encounter, this gorgeous hardbound book entitled, “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤” 𝐛𝐲 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 is a match made in heaven for it not only gave me literary inspiration for the upcoming autumnal season but also for each of the rest of the four seasons.

Divided into Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter, this is like a one-stop shop for an anthology of quotes, excerpts, and poems inspired by seasons from the well-known authors and writers, book lists to read, and delicious recipes perfect for each season, all carefully curated by the author. A personal favorite is the poetry pieces and excerpts from Robert Browning, Emily Brontë, George Eliot, Edith Wharton, L.M. Montgomery, Virginia Woolf, Louisa May Alcott, and many more.

Currently, I’ve been loving how it has now become a family book as well for its recipes to share with loved ones are for all seasons.

A beautiful, heart-warming book. This is a book I will keep in my basket to refer to all year long. Miranda broke it down by Seasons, poems, paragraphs from books, recipes, book suggestions, great trivia facts, an all around fun book to read a couple pages a day to go along with the Season. This is a perfect book to give as a gift.

Check out Miranda Mills YouTube. She gives great ideas for books to read, takes you along to all her travels visiting gardens, Historical places, bookshops in England.

What a wonderful commonplace book. Miranda has gathered some wonderful readings, poems, and even recipes for each season. She gives the reader an understanding of what a commonplace book entails along with the history of commonplace books. I've been a subscriber to her YouTube channel for years and she is amazing. She must have an additional shed that stores her massive book collection! She and her mother visit places around England as well. Do yourself a favor: get this book or get it for someone else and then go watch her YouTube. You will love the book and her!

A beautiful seasonal collection of poems, quotes from classics, and unique recipes that make for an immersive daily read throughout each season. I leave my current page open on the coffee table and it
makes such a beautiful decor piece!
