He watches. He protects. He kills for her. In this dark romance thriller, Lydia’s gamer girl life becomes a target for online predators and only Trip, her obsessive protector, stands between her and a swarm of digital monsters. But saving her isn’t enough. He wants to own her. Stalker romance. Vigilante justice. Blood-soaked devotion.
-Lydia’s life is perfect, if you count being stalked, doxxed, and nearly ruined by the man she thought she loved.
By day, she’s a seductive, trash-talking streamer with a camera in her face and a controller in her hand. By night she’s being hunted.
First, it was Patrick, the golden boy with a perfect smile, a fat wallet, and a talent for gaslighting her until she questioned her own name. He said he loved her. Then he leaked her address. Then he smiled while the world turned against her.
But someone’s been watching.
Trip is everything Patrick isn’t… Inked, masked, and feral. He’s not on her stream. He’s under it. In the shadows. On her cameras. In her walls. And when Patrick sends monsters to her door, Trip leaves them in body bags by the curb.
She doesn’t know his name. She’s never seen his face. But she leaves him notes. Lingerie. Pictures. And he leaves her gifts soaked in blood.
Now Lydia’s spiraling into obsession, into madness, into a twisted romance with the man who would kill for her without blinking. And when the masks finally fall?
No one’s walking away clean.
Two stalkers. One girl. Zero survivors.

Moony Luve is a tattooed, foul-mouthed, emo gamer girl writing filthy dark horror romance from the neon belly of Las Vegas. She’s been married for 15 years to her real-life possessive masked book boyfriend, @OperatorGoober a Marine-built mix of Simmons and Axel who lives by the “touch her and die” motto. She’s got two chaotic mermaid kids, a camera full of alt couples doing unspeakable things in the desert, and an Xbox kill count high enough to make fragile men cry. When she’s not photographing love or writing about obsession, she’s baked on the couch yelling at COD lobbies with her crew Roza, Goober, and Luke. Her body’s a shrine of tattoos to Marvel, her brain’s a Star Wars databank, and her favorite men are fictional, morally black, and usually covered in blood.
you ever wonder if the guy you obsess over on masktok can really give you what you want?😏 ever wonder if they’re all talk, or if they would really protect you when needed? well, pick up Cyber Revenge and meet Trip, the masked man of everyone’s dreams.😮💨
i absolutely ate this book up, as i usually do with anything written by Moony. the writing is so fast paced, and the stories are always so intriguing, you won’t want to put the book down. Cyber Revenge dives into the world of game streaming, masktok and OF, with an underlying message to make sure you know who you’re talking to before you trust them enough to meet them.
the VILLAINS in every single book by Moony are always written so well and this one was no different, i hated him from the moment he was introduced. i just knew there was something fishy about him.👀 for most of the book, i really didn’t know who to trust or what was even going on honestly, and those are my favorite types of books to read 😛
i am forever proud of you Moony, keep bringing these twisted stories to life. i love you 3000.♥️
This book was so good! You will not put it down, there is no lack of spice, there's a lot of hot & spicy between the three main characters.
First, we have Lydia, she's been with some serious jerks that have broken her and made her feel as if she had no worth. She's a single mom. We got her POV as well as Patrick's and Trip's (the one in the mask 🥵). Both of these men appear to be nice, are hot, and enjoy gaming like Lydia and watching her live streams. Can she choose?
There are TW's as expected if you've ever read something by Moony Luve, you know. Please read the list, there are many.
Great read with lots of spice. I enjoyed all the different POV’s and the amount of spice was so good I couldn’t get enough. Every little twist and turn had me on edge.
HOLY EFFING CHRIST! Just when I thought I couldn't love Moony's books any more than I already do, she gives us this absolute banger!
Nerdy, filthy, flirty and dark as fuck! A story of obsession, gaming, social media and monsters, Cyber Revenge is my new favourite read of 2025.
This is a DARK romance with content warnings, these are there for a reason so please read them first!
The characters are perfection, yet again. Lydia - a streamer, a gamer, a mom with a mask kink. Trip - tall, dark and handsome, covered in tattoos, makes masked man thirst traps and also a gamer (pretty sure Moony just writes my type). Patrick - the epitome of narcissistic control freak that you wanna stab as soon as he opens his mouth. They all have their secrets and through the beautifully written 282 pages, we discover them all and then some. The way Trip takes care of Lydia, both on and off screen is something we can only all hope for in a man. There are definitely some strong personal connections with these characters from page 1.
The tension in this book is something else. The true, raw, obsession these characters have with each other is everything, even the bad guy has his moments. The paintball scene is glorious and more books should include fun hobbies like this one, it was nice to see an author exploring the realms of what nerds do on their days off.
I am completely obsessed with this book, it had me gripped from page 1. I read it in a day because I did not want to put it down. Moony Luve just knows how to write dark, tension filled passion that will have you hot and bothered and begging for more.
The spice in this book is sublime. There is kink, dub con and... well you'll have to read it yourself and find out. Defo 4 chilli rating for this one :)
Oh and the playlist - be still my elder emo heart!
Totally brilliant, epically and beautifully dark but romantic, this book is one I will recommend screaming from the rooftops and would gladly read again and again.
Cyber Revenge is a gripping and unapologetically dark read that hooked me from the very first chapter. Told through the perspectives of Lydia, Patrick, and Trip, the story weaves obsession, heat, and danger into a narrative that’s as thrilling as it is disturbing. Patrick and Trip—possessive, intense, and deeply flawed—drive the psychological tension and raw chemistry that make this book unputdownable. You can’t forget the heat that Lydia brings - steamy, strong and any females crush!
This is a story I’ll be revisiting, and one that leaves a lasting impression long after the final page.
Content Warnings / Triggers: This book includes a wide range of potentially triggering content. Readers should approach with caution if sensitive to the following themes: • Gaslighting • Manipulation • Doxing • Sex work • Graphic sexual content (including blood and knife play) • Sexting • Primal play • Torture & body mutilation • Drugging • Kidnapping • Graphic violence & gore • Home invasion • Online stalking • Non-consensual filming/distribution • Vigilante justice • PTSD & trauma flashbacks • Possessive/obsessive dynamics • Implied forced voyeurism • Off-page child endangerment • Murder • Mental health themes (hyper-vigilance, paranoia, trauma) • Self-pleasure • Paintballing
This book is not for the faint of heart, but for readers who enjoy dark romance, psychological thrillers, and morally gray characters, Cyber Revenge is a must-read.
This book was so amazing. Lydia is a bada$$ mom who games and does what she needs to support her and her daughter. Some people are just narcissistic gaslighters who don't like to take no for an answer or take responsibility for their actions, and like to blame others to make themselves look like the good guy, (cough cough Patrick). The type to draw you in with a charade of who he knows you'll want then switch it up once you're with him. He got what he deserved in the end. Trip is patient and kind and matches Lydia's freak. Two people who are drawn to each other from before that first game. I didn't think they would get together for a minute but he wasn't going to let Patrick have her, knowing he isn't good enough for her and she deserves someone willing to do anything for her. Trip is patient though and waits and then cleans up the mess Patrick made of Lydia's life. He protects her and doesn't do it for the appreciation but because he loves her. Their first date is probably the best first date ever. They see each other for who they are broken pieces and all and their devotion to one another is beautiful. That ending was so cute I had tears in my eyes and had me laughing too, because yes girl get it! The spice through out the whole book 🤌🏼🤌🏼 chefs kiss Moony. Trip never stops until she's worn out begging him to stop. Definitely a must-read!
This book was so well done, I actually struggled to put my feelings into words. It touches on something women go through far too often. We can make names for ourselves with our looks and our abilities combined—and somehow, society both covets and condemns that. People use it as a weapon to jab at who we are as human beings.
Our FMC, Lydia, is hot—and she knows it. She’s also a skilled gamer, and together those traits make for a lucrative business. Enter her equally attractive partner, who she believes has her best interests at heart. Spoiler: he doesn’t. This scuz-beef not only tears her down, but when she cuts ties for her own well-being, he manipulates his following into targeting her with harassment and threats.
Enter the real hero of this story. I swear, I wish every cyber hottie who pissed someone off had one of these. He sees Lydia for who she truly is, protects her without question, and has zero qualms about beating the crap out of anyone trying to stalk or hurt her—then tying them up for the cops. #TeamTrip forever.
I won’t say much more, because there’s a twist you need to experience yourself. But I will say this—Lydia is also a single mom, doing her best to raise her child while navigating this storm. My heart went out to her a million times over.
If you’re ready for a romance that’s hot, empowering, and a little bit dangerous—Cyber Revenge delivers.
Cyber Revenge by Moony Luve is an addictive, pulse-pounding dark romance that sinks its claws into you from the very first page and refuses to let go.
This story delivers everything I crave in a dark romance: a dangerously obsessive male lead, high-stakes tension, and a heroine who refuses to break. Trip is the perfect embodiment of chaos and devotion—a monster who can destroy but chooses to protect. His duality is breathtaking. One minute he's ripping the world apart for Lydia, the next he's holding her like she’s the most sacred thing he’s ever touched. That contrast? Absolutely unhinged, and I loved every second of it.
The pacing is relentless. Once you start, you will not put this book down. Moony Luve’s writing is razor-sharp—each twist, each violent turn kept me on edge, and the spice? Top-tier. Not only is it hot, but it’s deeply emotional, layered with Lydia's trauma and Trip's terrifying need to guard her.
I especially loved how the book doesn’t shy away from real-world dangers like online harassment and stalking. It makes Lydia’s story feel raw and urgent. She’s not just a placeholder heroine—she’s complex, angry, and brave. Watching her choose to open herself to Trip, even with all his jagged edges, was incredibly satisfying.
Reading Cyber Revenge felt like slipping into the skin of every woman who's ever been stalked online, harassed in silence, or made to feel like her existence is something men are entitled to. Lydia's story isn't fiction for a lot of us. That constant fear, that need to shrink yourself just to stay safe, the way no one listens until it's too late? Moony Luve nailed that reality. And it hurt—in a way that felt validating. Lydia isn't loud or fierce in the traditional sense. She's not broken either. She's just surviving, like so many women do. That's what made her powerful. What made her real. And then there's Trip. A monster. A weapon. A vigilante who doesn't ask for permission to protect her-he just does it. As terrifying as he is, I understood why she let him in. Because when no one listens, and danger becomes your normal, even the wrong kind of safety starts to feel like salvation. This isn't just a dark romance. It's a mirror. One that reflects the messed-up world women navigate every day-and the fantasy of finally having someone dark enough to burn it all down for you.
Oh my gosh, Cyber Revenge by Moony Luve—this one hits different. From the moment I started, I was completely sunk into Lydia’s world: a dark, gritty gaming scene where nobody’s safe online, and one masked man is watching, protecting, maybe even killing for her. The pacing just doesn’t let up. It’s so compelling that I found myself tearing through page after page, unable to set it down—this is exactly the kind of fast, immersive storytelling Moony is known for.
This book doesn’t just use the gaming world as a gimmick—it breathes it. Lydia’s life as a streamer now draws predators, and this obsessive masked protector, Trip, is the living embodiment of that tension: both thrilling and chilling at the same time. There’s no fluff, no hesitation—Moony throws you directly into chaos and makes it feel absolutely electric. That kind of fearless energy is exactly what I’ve come to love from her.
Even when things get dark—and yes, Moony does not hold back with shocks and trauma—you’re still along for the ride, because underneath every high-stakes twist is that pulse of raw emotion and dark romance she does so well. It’s twisted, intense, and strangely addictive.
For anyone craving a dark romantic thriller that lives at the intersection of streaming culture and obsession, this is the one. It’s hard to look away once you’re in—Moony’s storytelling is that powerful. If you want an edge-of-your-seat, modern dark romance, Cyber Revenge is a must-read.
Video games ( who knew you could use a video controller more than just your game? ) and social media. What could go wrong? Lydia has my dream life - working online, everything delivered, and no dealing with actual people. Patrick & Trip are so different yet the same. Two stalkers. One girl. Zero survivors. I'm not going to give the story away, but you need to read this story! But, I know who I was rooting for! Masked men, secrets from the past & obsession. Ummmm, yes, I am here for all of that and more! Moony, girl you did the damn thing - a killer story with amazing characters. I received an advance review copy at no cost and am leaving this review voluntarily.
Okay book besties, Cyber Revenge is giving dark, twisted, and downright addictive energy and I was HERE for it. Lydia? She’s that fierce FMC you root for, even when the world tries to break her. And Trip? OH. MY. GOD. The man is unhinged in the hottest way possible—completely obsessed, possessive, and not even pretending to play it cool. Between the spicy cam girl/gamer vibes and the gritty cyber-stalker suspense, I couldn’t look away. The banter? Sharp. The twists? Had me clutching my Kindle. And don’t even get me started on Patrick—because one second I’m like “protective king” and the next I’m side-eyeing HARD.
It’s edgy, intense, laced with spice, and keeps your heart racing. If you love morally gray men and suspense with bite—this one’s a must-read. But babes… read those TWs first. 👀🔥
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - 5 Star Rating Multi First Person POV (Lydia, Trip, & Patrick) Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Age Rating: 18+
🖤 𝓻𝓮𝓿𝓲𝓮𝔀 🖤 A dark gamer romance with villainous red flags and a vengeful masked man, Cyber Revenge takes obsession to another level. Moony Luve brings us nerdy dark themes that are beautifully paced and full of spice tucked in an enticing plot. She composes characters you resonate and feel sympathetic at times for, as well as others you can feel yourself despising. Told through the perspectives of three individuals, the story spirals into a world of obsession, spice, and murder. An absolute banger and a STREAMy romance you don’t want to miss this year.
🖤 𝓹𝓵𝓸𝓽 🖤 Lydia is a gamer single mother who provides for her family by streaming content online. There’s two men in her life, a masked man named Trip who tries to take care of her on and off the computer screen. And then there’s Patrick who’s been charming her with his words. It’s difficult for her to choose which man she wants and she’ll learn the hard way that picking the wrong one comes with severe consequences. This book has some serious triggers so definitely check the warnings before proceeding, as well as a paintball scene you’ll never see coming.
🖤 𝓬𝓱𝓪𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓼 🖤 Lydia is a single mother and gamer who provides for her family by streaming online content for her viewers. You can tell she has some hidden kinks she’s yet to express and has an open heart. Trip is her online masked friend who likes to post revealing photos in order to grab her attention, but also has a caring heart for her. Then there’s Patrick. Not much nice things I can say about this walking red flag except bless his heart.

🖤 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓬𝓵𝓾𝓼𝓲𝓸𝓷 🖤 I have yet to read a Luve novel I didn’t like, as in fact, they’ve only gotten hella better. Cyber Revenge is one of those stories that lingers with you by how it’s written and the likeness of the characters and storyline. Well developed and one that will have you going through all the emotions and hardships alongside Lydia as she makes her decisions. Absolutely gamer dark stalker romance you will want to devour in one sitting.
This is definitely one of those books that once you start you're not stopping until you finish it. I absolutely could not put this down, and I can 1000% promise you I will be reading this more than once.
Lydia (based on @trippylyd) is the BADASS gamer girl FMC who is in the impossible place of choosing between 2 men who she thinks are incredible. Little does she know, there's only one of the men who is the correct choice, and Lydia has to find that out the hard way.
Patrick puts her through unimaginable shit and Trip is continuously there to pick up the pieces and remind Lydia of her worth.
This book has something for everyone, gamers, masked men, violence, possessive/obsessive, character development, smut, and then some more smut, and a fantastic story to follow!
Please remember to check your trigger warnings as this book does contain sensitive topics and explicit content and is only suitable for audiences over 18.
🎮Favorite Quotes: "That duality messes with my head. He can fuck me like a monster, but holds me like a prayer."
"Trip hadn’t just punished him. He’d turned him into a monument. A canvas. A warning. It wasn’t just violence. It was art. And it was for me."
“Mine,” I growled against her skin, my lips trailing down her neck. “Yours,” she whispered, her body arching into mine. That was all I needed. I devoured her. Her lips. Her neck. Her fucking soul. She was mine. Body. Mind. Soul. And if the world tried to take her from me? I’d fucking burn it to the ground.

Moony, I loved this book so much. It was absolutely amazing. I wish I could’ve finished it earlier! I did not want to put it down once I started! You did such a freaking phenomenal job writing this! Like there’s no way I can describe this book in a review. It is just one of those books pulls you into it and doesn’t let you go until you’re finished with it. Moony it makes me so freaking happy, that I get to experience this by being a member of your team! For kind of a quick overview of this book FMC Lydia and the MMC is Trip. And that’s all the overview I can’t give because you just have to read it yourself! It’s so freaking good!! That the spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ all the spice!!! It’s such good spice and there is alot of it! It’s the perfect combination of spice and story!! This is a book goes beyond a five out of five rating!!!
Gamer girl has 2 stalkers but only one calls to her. Lydia is a streamer that has become a recluse. She streams and stays home. But she still catches the attention of Patrick and Tripp. Patrick is not easy and nice. But Tripp is dark dirty and speaks to her hidden side.
Patrick’s makes it easy to fall into a relationship, but soon his ugly side comes out. Not she so stuck or will Tripp save her… like he always does?
This book is filthy and taboo and I loved it. Stalking, obsession, primal play, and so much more. It’s hard to Put down once you jump into the action!!
As with all Moony Luve check the trigger warnings.
Starting off by saying I DEVOURED this book in under 12 hours. Absolutely smashed it, and loved every minute of it. Secondly, this book had me STRESSED 😂 I hit that 80% completed and they were HAPPY😭 so I knew what was coming but she dragged that shit out that I didn’t know when the shoe was dropping when it did 😂 like…ok now she’s going to drop the shoe, turn the page…sike 🫠 …at one point I started pacing the house while reading.
This book is an excellent example of why a lot of streamers and social media icons keep their personal information private because people are dangerous. All it takes is one person to turn your life upside down and Lydia learned it quickly. Lucky for Lydia, trip is that morally grey MMC who is obsessed with her and keeps her safe ☺️we love a protective MMC
Our FMC Lydia has her followers wrapped around her finger. Kick butt at COD, give the subscribers a little attention, make some content... make that money and go be an awesome mother. Sounds like the life. But when one follower forms an unhealthy attachment and gets obsessive, things take a turn.
He's sweet, good looking, attentive ... a little too attentive. Things quickly become dangerous.
Thankfully Lydia has a protector, who is a perfect mix between masked man with a possessive side and a total sweetheart. And he will stop at nothing to protect his lady.
10/10 🖤 Lydia and Trip are my favorite characters Moony has written yet (and she has sooo many so that's high praise). I couldn't put this book down.
I saw this book on social media and hoping for Lights Out vibes. I’ll say it started out strong but then the plot fizzled out for me. I love a good dark romance that has plenty of spice…this one is strong on the spice for sure, so dive in if you’re here for that!
I just wish the storyline kept up, it felt all over the place.
** Potential Spoilers ** The fact that the FMC had a daughter shocked me, I swear she was mentioned only a handful of times and was shipped off to her parents when danger was lurking.
The FMC was all about her sexuality and posting thirst traps and then her job fell away when the MMCs entered the picture, I was like…wait, is she going to start filming again?
This book definitely has potential, it just wasn’t for me.
“I want him. The Monster. The mask. The man who ruined me in the dirt and kissed my wounds after.” This book is fast paced, suspenseful, spicy, touch her and 💀, masked man - chase her through the woods, video gaming and an HEA! Moony wrote plays on words in here, with an underlying message that you cannot trust everyone you talk to/meet on the internet. I loved the emotions she was able to put into words for Lydia. The protective masked hero Trip was for Lydia, while still allowing her to not feel like her freedom was gone. Then there’s Patrick, he got what he deserved.
Moony always knows what I like and juuuuuuust how I like it.
This was a thriller of epic proportions combining ALL my favorite tropes, triggers and filthy tricks.
We have our bad-ass FMC, living her best life and our over the top, protective, 'touch her and die' MMC. Talk about a match made in HEAVEN.
This plot was adrenaline to the max with heat beyond belief. I almost read this whole thing in one sitting because I just had to experience the full "climax" if you feel me.
Character chemistry off the charts and deliciously dark. I am hella satisfied and ready for more.
I’m not sure how she did it, but this book was jam-packed with it all! It was relatable with all the technology and social media references while also shining light on not only sex positivity, but unfortunately the very real fears of being online. There was suspense in both the sexual variety as well as the fear variety, there was uniqueness with a controller, a paintball match, as well as some strip COD, and everyone’s favorite tropes: murderous masked men stalkers. 🖤
Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something fresh, exciting, enticing, and real.
“If I wanted you to breathe, I would f*cking let you.” 😮💨🤤🫠
“Perfection was a knife with a pearl handle. The sharper it got, the easier it was to miss when you were bleeding.” Yeah… that line alone had me hooked—and the rest of the book? I absolutely devoured it.
If you’ve ever found yourself deep in MaskTok, wondering if that mysterious, brooding guy behind the mask could actually live up to your wildest daydreams (or protect you when it really counts), then Cyber Revenge is your next obsession. Enter Trip, the masked man of your dreams—and nightmares—and get ready to spiral in the best way.
Moony does it again with a story that’s fast-paced, twisty, and seriously hard to put down. Set in the wild, sometimes shady world of game streaming, OnlyFans, and influencer culture, this book delivers not only thrills and steam but a strong cautionary message: know who you're trusting online… because not everyone is who they seem. 👀
And let’s talk VILLAINS. Moony always writes them to be completely punchable (in the best, most compelling way), and this one? Hated him on sight. The second he showed up, I had a bad feeling, and I was right. The suspense, the constant second-guessing, the “wait, WHAT just happened?” moments—chef’s kiss. I didn’t know who to trust for most of the book, and honestly, that made it even better. 😛
If you love morally gray love interests, danger-laced romance, digital-age drama, and plot twists that keep you guessing, you need to read Cyber Revenge. Moony’s done it again—and I’ll be rereading until the next release drops.
This book was perfection. The way Trip is just obsessed over his woman and is literally the definition of touch her and die. This was written beautifully! I love that they got a HEA! Also, i might need to start gaming after reading this (iykyk)! Patrick deserved everything he got.
And as always, Moony with her hidden messages in her amazing writing, control starts slowly babes, don’t be fooled by their facade, a man who loves you won’t control you, won’t try to change you, he will accept you fully.
Cyber Revenge was not just about sadness and hurt it was about love, compassion, and the realization of what can happen in the blink of an eye. This read not for the weak of hearts and yes there are many triggers but this book was throughly enjoyable and I could read it over and over again. Not because of the pain and distruction of lives but it shows what happens when you find your soulmate, that they will go to the end of the earth for you. That is exactly what Ms Moony Luve has brought use here and I hope you love it just as much as me.
I'm a sucker for a gamer girl, no BS, takes what she wants character and Lydia was just that. Her connection to Trip and the chats/dialogue were so addicting. The plot was thrilling and dark. I felt on the edge and anxious about what would happen next, in the best way. And when revenge and karma came around full force? Perfection.
Trip was the perfect blend of savior and possessive, masked stalker. He says, and I quote, "and if the world tried to take her from me? I'd burn it to the f****** ground." Yes please!
This book will absolutely live rent free in my brain.
I fell in love with this book right from the start!
The way the characters are all described, makes you feel like you’re right there with them.
There are a lot of emotions that play out in this book, from anger, to happiness, to even envy. I love how the characters come together and how they are with each other after trauma.
This was fun! I’m not a gamer, but reading about Lydia, Patrick, and Trip’s gaming adventures was a fun escape. I really liked how it was shown how an abusive relationship starts off sweet until, with barely noticing, the abuser starts to take control. It’s a story I think a lot of people can relate to. However, this is a dark romance, so hopefully not as many relate to the rest of it… I was in anxious mode from like halfway to almost the end lol just when you think it’s a HEA, there’s still a good portion of book left! The epilogue was fun and I liked that it ended on a light note.
Moony kills it again masked men , stalking, obsession, video games. I got this arc during a bad week and this story made my week. The men oh man they are sooooooo yum lol Past comes back to let out those dirty little secrets and the mayhem ensues. I cant stress how much moony can draw you in with a story. This one was a non put down. I couldnt stop till it was done. 10/10 for you gamer girls, stalker lovers, masked men lovers and just a good sexy time readers
