I really enjoyed continuing this story into book 2. It’s quite a bit different from book one, but still nail biting and the author can write a plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
You thought the zombie apocalypse was bad. Just wait until you see what the deranged humans are creating in this new reality. I’m amazed how easily some people are lead down a path that they may normally wouldn’t have taken but when the world is in chaos and you don’t know if you will live or die you will latch onto anybody who says they know the way to go.
I was anticipating how things were going to end but at about page 250 I realize this thing isn’t wrapping up. Yep, it is to be continued.
I really like the author’s writing style. I felt I had a ringside seat to everything going on. I’m enjoying the series and will be reading the next book.
