Absolutely phenomenal! AI Essentials for Beginners by Kyle Lindemann is hands down the best introduction to artificial intelligence I’ve ever come across. As a fellow Marine and a long-time friend of Kyle’s, I knew his dedication and passion would shine through—and he did not disappoint.
Kyle masterfully breaks down complex concepts into easily digestible, relatable, and engaging content. Whether you’re a complete novice or just looking to sharpen your understanding, this book makes AI approachable without sacrificing depth. His straightforward explanations are complemented by practical examples that make the material click instantly. His humor & personality are surgically injected in to each page and adds so much value to the overall delivery of this up and coming phenomenon we know as AI. The similes that he uses throughout the book are sure to crack a smile.
What truly sets this book apart is Kyle’s unique ability to connect with his readers. You can feel his passion for teaching and guiding others, traits I’ve admired since our time together in the Marine Corps. He approaches AI with the same commitment and dedication that made him a standout leader, and it shows on every page. The walkthroughs and how to’s are easy to follow for any person. Recommendations for follow on readings and courses for many industries were very helpful. I’m looking at beginning an education certification soonest based on this book. It has immediately impacted friends of mine in the HR world and those also job hunting to crack the code and beat the game. The culinary aspect was spot on as well, showing us simple ways to make delicious menus right at home. Ethics and AI were a needed reminder to this digital world to simply be a good human in real life and behind the keyboard.
