Gimme Series Jake
🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ I am an idiot. I have other books & so I bought it. What I forgot was that I hated this series. It is so juvenile, stunted sentences, and all-around nonsense. I have to switch my library so I can avoid these.

H and h new each other and loved each other since she was 10 and him 14. h's father sends H away because no one is good enough for her and he sees his attraction to his daughter. He moves to New York against his wishes, but is faithful to her in every way, and she to him, he knew he was coming back after 6 years of separation.... but she didn't. Plus, why didn't he communicate with her, he was legal for 22 so legal for 4 years and she is 20 legal for 2 years, and he knew her whereabouts and kept tabs, but couldn't send a text, a call, carrier pigeon.....ANYTHING???? He KNOWS she is heart broken so why didn't he try to reach out.....here is the world's stupidest excuse.....he says it is because he would lose control and go to her...*sigh* that is what she wants, she is waiting for him thinking he will never come back! So I do know that the first few years wasn't his fault, but when she turned 18, they are both adults, he can go to her, but he waited for 2 years, so no excuses for him there.
I HATED the h's parents. They love each other and know what that deep, true love feels like, but rips away his daughter's love of her life, so he can prove himself. They are really hypocrites. While the h's parents are all loving and still googly eyes for one another, which I like, but for her father to see day after day for 6 years his daughter sad, heart broken, numb, pinning for her love and suffering because of her dad.....that made me hate him.
The story could have been so much better, it was as if it was just angst on top of angst just to get emotions out of the reader, and then oh, everything is all right, there is an explanation for everything, HEA right?.....WRONG!! The whole thing was stupid from the start!
I love CM Steele she is a safe author with plenty of double virgin romances, so I am glad for that, but this was drama for the sake of it and too many excuses. I think something like that would forever shatter a family. The hero could have been there sooner and the dad needed to grovel and beg for his daughters forgiveness after making her suffer for 6 years, and this is supposed to be a loving family, but I didn't feel it. A loving dad would not make his daughter suffer like this one did.
Will not read again.
I hope the twin sister will have a better story.

His uncle is a lawyer I’m guessing since they both work in corporate law. He’s been keeping an eye on her for a while, tracking her every movement from culinary school to home. This bitch has been trying to get with him even going as far as feeding the paparazzi as lies and one day Lea sees it on Andersons phone and she searches it up herself since she gets his phone taken away and it’s her future man and the bimbo. She is distraught and cries a bit and then decides to leave just as Jake arrives to get his woman. He tracks her phone and she’s at a motel and he goes there and they talk it out. The gun scene was hot as fuck with the disgusting dude who was gonna do smth to her. They do the deed and it’s hot as fuck. He then drives her to the airport and the go to New York and turns out his uncle and the bimbo Rachel have been fricking together and she was gonna get preggers and then marry him to get his money and the uncle was jealous of his own nephew lmfao. Idk how that worked in her mind. She’s crazy. Then they go back home as engaged soon to be married and her parents are happy for her. Her sister I need her story. A couple years later they have 3 kids I’m guessing and all is well. Hopefully his daughter isn’t too hard on her dad with Bobby. I guess what goes around comes around.

Jake knew since he was a kid that he would one day marry Lea. Everybody knew it, but everything changed when he had to move away, but he told her father and Lea he would come back for her. Now finally the time came to claim his woman ones and for all. But a scheming woman (never were together) threatens their HEA and boy does he go ballistic when he finds out. He stayed away, but always had his eyes on his woman. Now they finally get their HEA 🥰🥰 First love ,fated love, sweet, bittersweet, steamy, romantic , fun to read and totally safe (dual virgins- he felt physically sick when thinking about touching another woman or she him😉) with an awesome HEA 😍😍😍

Loved this!!!!
I have always loved this series, and Jake’s story is no different. The overly obsessed and possessive Jake would do anything for his love Lea. As always I want more HEA stories. I do hope that Michelle get her HEA as well. Keep the stories coming.

sweet and sexy
This was a good short story to read. I did wish it was longer to read but all in all it was good. I love how he was dedicated to her even when they made him leave her until he was older and had a secure life for himself and her.

Jake and Lea have been childhood sweethearts until one day they were tore apart. Fast forward six years, Jake has worked hard to prove he deserved his queen, and he is not waiting any longer. Highly recommended

That ending was epic..
I love the story from start to finish. To know from such a young age that that's your one and only and hold that no matter what is beautiful. I think the world could do it a few more obsessed men.That ending was epic when he melts "karma"over his shoulder .
