SOS Hotel #10

SOS Hotel: End of the Road

Rate this book
It's the end! Again.

Being on the road has been fun an' all (no, it hasn't). Van life is awesome (it sucks, there's no room for my fabulousness). But all good things must end, according to Fancy Fangs. He's wrong. Good things should last forever.

Just so long as me, Victor and Adam don't end, right?

So after we solved a burly werewolf murder, got ourselves mixed up with an evil luxury hotel, we're now in Florida! Sun, sea, and... the troll mafia, a trap we walked right into, and did I mention... THERE'S F*CKING FROGS HERE?!

We all gonna die.

*

SOS HOTEL 10: End of the Road, is the end of the road for our hotel threesome. If you've read all nine previous books, you'd be silly not to read this one, the last ever one - for real this time. Our terrible trio are more powerful than ever, but so is Adam's wicked brother. The epic showdown is here.

I was inching through this book page by page because I didn’t want this glorious series to end!! But eventually there were only like thirty pages left and I needed to know what happened. I could not have asked for a better finale. The short story in this one, like always, was awesome. There were drugs, very scary frogs, and a huge fight scene. What else could I possibly want?? I got to witness Victor wrestle an alligator and Adam scold an alligator for trying to eat Victor. There were a handful of steamy smut scenes, cute little moments with all three of them, and of course Zee and all his ✨Zeeness.✨Their relationship also became much more of a heavy focus in this one which I appreciated and the underlying theme of found family had a few spotlight moments. At the end all the characters were brought back and I really enjoyed getting a final glimpse of them. This series has been one of helllll of a ride and I lived for absolutely every second of it. I'm gonna miss these three!! And all the crazy situations they somehow found themselves in. But now Adam officially has his safety, his family, and his peace, at least as much peace as the SOS Hotel can give. All the stars in the sky for this series!! ⭐️✨

❗️❗️Trigger warnings: mentions of drugs, murders, and some blood

4 or 4.5 stars, I am still hesitating...

This is the end, for real this time.

Adam, Victor, and Zee are still on “vacation”, and their decision to help a poor troll go back to Florida quickly turns against them when the troll mafia gets involved. Now, Adam, Zee, and Victor need to deal with this situation on top of finding a way to get rid of Adam’s brother and also clear their name because their faces are plastered on the news as murderers on the loose.

Everything is wrapped up nicely, and a little absurdly too, at times. There are some connections to the events that happened in the 8th and 9th books, and it was nice to see that there was a kind of arc-plot in those three books that went beyond simply running away from Adam’s brother until they couldn’t anymore.

I feel that if you’ve made it this far, you know what to expect from our hectic trio, and you will not be disappointed with this finale. Zee and Adam finally get to see frogs, and yes, they are as creepy as they thought they were. They also learn that alligators are not cuddly and fluffy, and that maybe they should listen to Victor more often.

As always, the pace is fast and the plot is engaging. Our favorite trio is off to another over-the-top and slightly crazy adventure that could only ever happen to them. While the plot is quite straightforward in this book, there are still some twists and betrayals, and overall, it is easy to get hooked and finish this book in one or two sittings.

The romance takes a bigger place in this book than in the previous ones. With the big confrontation between Adam and his brother quickly approaching, Adam fears that he might not be the one to walk out of it alive, and that every minute he has with Zee and Victor needs to be savoured and cherished, because they might be his last. There is also more smut between the three of them, and I enjoyed seeing them not only be more at ease together but also be more open about their feelings and their intensity.

A part of me is sad to bid them farewell, but I also think it is time. We followed Adam, Zee, and Victor for 10 books now, and while I always enjoy their shenanigans, I also think that they deserve some peace and rest at their Hotel, and that dragging this on for longer could mean less quality in the plot, which we do not want. I really had a great time reading this silly series, and I will reread it in the future for sure. The fact that the books are short also makes it so easy to get sucked into the SOS Hotel vortex and get addicted to its craziness.

Did I somehow expect something different for the conclusion of this series? Oh dear, the joke is on me. It was foolish of me to believe that our eccentric trio had learned something and would cause less chaos and take care of solving their own problems.
I was torn between feeling embarrassed for them and giggling. In the end, the giggling won out.
And yes, there is a small, epic battle at the very end, but I had imagined it differently. Still, it was an interesting decision to end it that way. The plot is also a bit patchy, if I may say so.
Anyway... frogs...
Oh dear...
I didn't think it would come to that.
And
Wonderful scenes with the three of them, finally a little longer, even if still brief.
Overall, I had a lot of fun with this series.

“Bad. Drop. Now.” With its cold glare locked on mine, the alligator dropped its lower jaw. Victor jerked backward, holding up his arm, and blood dribbled down his pale skin, soaking his torn shirt.
“It is very rude to eat people without their permission,” I scolded, reptile to reptile. “Don’t give me those sad eyes, mister.”
“Those are fuckin’ murder eyes, Kitten,” Zee said from his perch in the tree.
🤭🤭🤭

“It’s almost as though we know what we’re doing.”
“I wouldn’t go that far.” Victor smiled.
🤣😂🤣

Apparently this really is the end of this endlessly entertaining series 😭
And what an ending it was.

We have the usual shenanigans - this time in Florida - but add a troll mafia, frog people, another dragon to contend with, a few certain someones from their past adventures showing up and causing mayhem and a whole lot of heartfelt AND sexy MMM scenes. Because lemme tell you babycakes, this one was the spiciest so far 😏
I also absolutely adored how the whole SOS hotel family came together in the end, I love to see a united found/chosen family 🥹

I enjoyed this series so, SO much and I’m honestly a bit upset it’s over. I want another book where our beloved Adam, Victor and Zee just happily ✨exist✨ in their hotel without murder, danger and supervillains and just love each other and banter with Tom Collins and visit Shadowbeast and try to reign in the Pixies and and and. The ending gives us a hint that this is exactly what’ll happen, thank fucking god.

We’d just be us again. Just three weirdos trying to figure out how to love while also crafting a normal life in a very abnormal hotel.
I wish them all the luck in the world 🥹♥️

Thank you to GRR for the chance to read this ARC, this is my honest opinion!

Ok, so this is apparently, definitely the end of the series now and I actually hope it is because I can't see where else they could go with this trio!

Adam was definitely trying to redeem the perception of Dragons and I can see that it shows how his character has grown, but honestly I was hoping for a more chaotic comeuppance for his brother 😂

I loved that Tom Collins basically saved the world by being snarky and mean!

The frog people did actually make me laugh - the fear of frogs was finally validated 😂

Other than that, not much really happened and the heavy amount of sex scenes in such a short book was a little offputting because I prefer actual plot! It was 'needed' for their power boosts, but I found myself bored with the sex scenes in this final installment.

Awww man. I'm going to miss these guys. End of the Road marks the ending of the amazing SOS Hotel series. No, for real this time. Seriously. And what a fitting end it is. Crazy shenanigans, great spice, a story that is just one wild ride with a fittingly chaotic end.

There's no doubt in my mind that I won't revisit this series time and time again in the future, because it's one of my favorites and I loved every second of it. Alas, for now, this is the end of the road. (Heh.)

A Joyfully Jay review.

3.5 stars

This is the final book in the SOS Hotel series. These books have to be read in order and this review will naturally reveal plot lines from the series. There was a natural conclusion to the series and then it was extended by these last three books. The conflict was introduced in the two books prior and it’s not until well into this story that there is any movement on that and, for me, that was too long to wait.

I would certainly recommend books 1-7 and then possibly using your discretion for books 8-10.

Read Michelle's review in its entirety here.

I'm so sad it's over 😭😭! But what a sendoff! These three will be with me for a long time to come. There is nothing else like their craziness out there. I mean I swear they spend more time wrapped up in trouble than they do running the SOS Hotel. Nonstop lunacy I tell ya.

From mafia trolls to abnormally large frogs to finally taking down the big bad brother dragon -Victor, Adam, and Zee have finally gained themselves some well-earned rest. Being heroes of the world is all well and good, but not when it makes it so you can never just spend time with the ones you love. And after everything these three have been through together, I have no doubts about their loyalty and love for one another. I will miss them terribly.

The final book in SOS Hotel trilogy gives us exactly what we’ve come to love and expect. It’s a fast-paced, slightly (hahaha more than slightly) chaotic, and totally entertaining adventure with Adam, Victor, and Zee. Out favourite chaotic trio is still pretending they’re on vacation, and they get roped into helping a down-on-his-luck troll return to Florida. Sounds simple enough, doesn’t it?
But, as always with our trio, things quickly spiral out of control when troll mafia shows up. And let’s not forget, they’re still trying to shake off Adam’s relentless brother and clear their names, since they’re now all over the news as fugitives.

As with previous books, the story moves quickly, and while the plot is pretty straightforward, there are still some great twists and surprise betrayals that keep things interesting.
I would say that in this one, the romance takes a more central role. With a final showdown looming over them, Adam starts to worry he might not make it out alive, which leads to some emotional moments with Zee and Victor. It was really nice to see the three of them more open with each other, and there is more tenderness between the three of them, so there’s a real sense of love, but also a feeling of urgency that adds emotional weight to the story.

But don’t worry, the book is still full of the usual ridiculousness, only this time in Florida. We’ve got troll mafia, frog people, and a bunch of familiar faces popping back in to cause trouble or lend a hand. And that final show of togetherness and love from the whole SOS Hotel crew was really the cherry on top.

It’s a little sad to say goodbye to our chaotic trio, but it also feels like the right time. ❤️

Here we are and though I knew this day had to come, it’s still hit me full-on in the feels. I fell in love with “Oh dear” and will never quite look at a frog the same way. There will never be another trio quite like Adam, Victor and Zodiac.

“It’s like a f*cked-up Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, ’cept Fancy Fangs is a whole lot sexier than that apple-lovin’ pale chick.”

Ah the wisdom that Zee shares that we didn’t know we needed. I love, love, love these three and thoroughly enjoyed the adventures they dragged us on, both willing and begging. I especially loved how this ending wraps things up in ways that made me laugh, smile, shed a tear, all wrapped in a giant hug.

Cheers to the fantastic one-liners, the chaos, the never-ending trouble—though they’ve earned a deserved long break—the found family, the love that changed the world, and to everyone’s favorite barman who does in fact keep the hotel running! I love this series and may it ever live on in fame and glory.

Is this well and truly the end? Oh, the heartbreak! This series was just amazing! It was funny, sexy, insane....it was like this entire series was on crack....or some psychotic fever dream! I adore the trio of Adam, Zee, and Victor, they work so well together. Zee's so bright and extroverted and fabulous and Victor's so reserved, calm, but fiery, deadly, scary. And Adam...well, Adam's the dragon that tries for calm but sometimes has to eat his problems....no matter what size they may be, or how alive!

This was a fun ending to this series. Trolls, frogs that actually turned out to be deadly (take that, Victor!), and the showdown between Adam and his brother. How that showdown came to be was, well, it fit right in with the insanity that is this series.

Love it, love it so darn much and cannot recommend it enough for people who are good with craziness in their reading, stuff that may not entirely make sense but it will make you laugh a whole lot!

Ugh. Here we are again at the last book of this fun, captivating, and unique series, and I am devasted. Zee, Adam, and Victor are such fun characters in a darkly funny good time, and this series ender is a LOL rollicking good time while our dastardly heroic trio has to finally stand up to Adam’s brother with a little help from their friends. I am so sorry to see this heartfelt, dark comedic, and well-written fun go, but it was such a wild ride. This is a very fitting end, and I enjoyed this last one so much. Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

It's the end of the series, again, for real this time.

I'm truly sorry that it's the last of this trio. Over the course of the series I've grown to love not only them, but the side characters we've met along the way. Like the sassy bartender with a love of illegal substances. Tom Collins gets a moment to shine! I love that for him.

The story is nicely tied up with a great action scene towards the end. There are also a few steamy scenes between the trio, which I loved. Trying to be vague to avoid spoilers is hard! Vindication for Zee... Adam meets an alligator... Victor lets out his softer side more than once. Love them.

Going to miss them but glad to have had extra books for the series.

I want to cry with sadness, and I want to cry with joy. Sadness that this is their last book, joy for a wonderful happy ending for our trio. Their last adventure takes them to Florida, and of course mayhem ensues. Our heroes to the rescue! Yet, again Tom Collin’s rescues our heroes. Tom really does need his own story. Highly recommend this series!!!

I would like to thank GRR for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

🍑The way "End of the Road" and the "Peach Pit" gave me the warm and fuzzies. Some things feel like Stonehenge when you catch them, ancient and demanding a certain reverence, like Brandon and Dylan and Boyz II Men. And i went happily along that flashback, when my life was halcyon summers at the amusement park, and being bodily spun around to the soundtrack of teenage glee and Mariah Carey. Iykyk.🎤🎶

🌉🏨anyhoo, I must have said this in some form or fashion 9 times before, but Nash has created something buoyant and effervescent here in a series that has maintained and expanded on ALL the vibes, fun and creativity that it started with. So kudos to Nash for not just dipping, but fully diving into humour, glitter and funsies! It's been a wild one that i will cherish for a very long time, and i'm certain i'll come back to SOS shenanigans when i need a fierce and fabulous boost the most!🛎️🧳

🐲🧛😈For this wrap, and as much as Adam, Zee and Victor were the throuple in sexy love i love to love, i actually came for the dragon action, Tom Collins, the FROGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS🐸 ahahah omg i can't stop laughing, and all the super powers that get straight to business! I'm not gonna give anything away, but like always, the plot's primo exciting when things go off the rails. And i love that at the heart of all SOS stories, especially where all the things go "boom", is the love and loyalty that makes SOS home to the Lost Ones who need it most. So for me, i thought this wrap up was the best kind of hug at the end of all the hijinks i could have asked for!🏩🥃

🚐Happy to have gone on this journey with SOS mgmt, and i very much love that this groovy-glittery-fangy gem was some of the most consistent fun i've ever had in a 10-book series, one that i'm sure to read again and again!!!🏖️

✨👑Ariana Nash is queen for giving us the wildest ride in ages, and ALL OF THIS was the ferocious joy i can never get enough of! Can't wait for whatever comes next because if it's half as awesome as this was, i'm sure it will be another winner for me!✨

To 100% confirm, just in case, you cannot read this as a standalone. You need to have at least read book 8 & 9 otherwise you’ll totally be lost.

Now I enjoyed this as a conclusion to the overall plot of book 8 - 10. Did I actually need this, no. I was satisfied how book 7 ended. But, that aside, I thought this was fun. I enjoyed the independent plot/crime to solve, plus we had our overarching plot going on as well.

The plot for this book had some cartoonish villains - mafia trolls anyone?! However, going into this series then you know not to take things too seriously. I honestly read these because I really like Adam, Zodiac (Zee) and Victor. They have such a ride or die relationship, they’re totally committed and will kill to keep one another safe. I also have a huge weakness for same couple series, so 10 books for me to enjoy relationship development is just perfect.

The sex is hot and proportional to the length of the book. You have pairing and threesome action going on.

One negative, is I would have liked a chapter or two once everyone was back at the hotel - as it would have been good to see them settled in and just running the place. But I like day to day life in my books, so it’s just a personal wish, nothing wrong with how the author has finished this series.

Oh, beware the frogs….. 🐸

I received this as an ARC from gayromancereviews.com and this is my honest opinion - as I’ve been reading this series from the start and would have read this regardless of getting an ARC

- series
- not standalone
- MMM
- paranormal comedy
- ALL THE FROGS

This is the final-final story in the epic journey that's been the SOS Hotel series. The whole series has been wonderful, utterly bonkers and I am certainly going to miss that unholy trinity. This story brings the whole thing to a close, tying up any loose ends neatly and leaving a bittersweet feeling along with a laugh, because it wouldn't be an SOS Hotel book without that final punchline. This is fast-paced, with our heroes running afoul of the troll mafia, turncoat friends, psychopathic brothers and a redemption arc that I wish had ended better.

Through it all, the heart of the story is Zee, Victor, and Adam. I've loved how they've all grown together over the course of these books, and are going off to their happy ending (along with Tom Collins, of course). They're in turns hot, adorable, murderous but perfect for each other. I'm not going to give away any spoilers, but I loved the ending, I loved the story and I am certainly going to miss these characters.

Oh and maybe Tom Collins too. The ending for Adam's brother is hilariously fitting too, I loved this whole thing and while I'm sad it's over, I'm happy to have got the chance to read it. (Oh and Zee was right about the frogs ALL ALONG!)

I received an ARC and this is my honest review.

I drug my fucking feet and took all day to finish, and somehow I still managed to reach the end that I was trying to avoid. I’m the saddest goddamn noodle right now.

But also kinda the happiest because I loved it. The whole thing was nothing short of the perfect ending to the chaotic adventures of the coolest triad ever.

And ✨♥️Tom Collins♥️✨

Because he’s still very clearly The Best Ever and #1. Pls consider more Tom being perfect. Please. He deserves his ~Moment~. Don’t take him away from me🥺🥲

For real though, this was a collection of the funnest, sweetest, perfectly-spiced short reads that gave everything good and made the journey a blast. And this one made my sad tears into mostly happy ones because even though I know it’s the last hurrah, it made for one hell of a fucking party.

5/5. This is one of those series that you just gotta show your gratitude for, so: Thank you for giving us this world and these characters and their ebullient and immaculate vibes and you’re so great never change! 😗🫶

SOS Hotel: End of the Road is the tenth and final (again) book in the SOS Hotel series, and it is a must-read if you have read the rest of the series. It once again ties elements together well, ensuring you are hooked throughout, leaving you happy with the (real, this time) conclusion.

SOS Hotel: End of the Road was another highly addictive story, giving more of what readers love about the SOS Hotel cast. This time, there were lots of nods to things that have been mentioned throughout the series (frogs – and lots of them), with the recent additions coming together to bring about the conclusion of this arc. In many ways, it was over-the-top ridiculous. However, this is what makes the series so fun. I do feel like there could have been a bit more from the ending, but it worked for the way everything has played out throughout. It certainly ticked the right boxes when it came to the feelings evoked, so I was able to overlook the way I wanted something a little different from the final showdown.

All in all, SOS Hotel: End of the Road was another winner in the SOS Hotel series. As much as I loved this bonus arc, I do feel the story has come to an end and cannot imagine how more can be added without it being repetitive. I am open to being shown otherwise, though.

Rating: 5🌈

Welp, it’s finally here! The end of the road and the insane finale for our beloved triad of paranormal lovers, Adam, Fancy Fangs aka Victor , and the ever fabulous Zee!

This story has everything! Road trips gone wrong, supernatural mobsters, Miami because, you know, Florida, sex, music, crazed family stuff, Florida, frogs, drama, dragons, frogs!

Florida.

And of course, finally, very importantly, a happy ending for our beloved otherworldly throuple.

It’s a veritable kitchen sink of storylines, events, weirdly funny characters and makes for a celebration of a send off.

Love it and them! Been a great ride!

After trying and failing to run from their problems, it was finally time for Adam, Zee, and Victor to face their enemies and fight for SOS Hotel in this finale. As always, their journey took me on a wild romp, this time through the Florida Everglades and all of its wildlife. I thoroughly enjoyed watching my favorite trio stumble around into trouble, and once Tom Collins got involved I knew a much bigger scheme was in the works. At this point I'm convinced Zee, Adam, and Victor do their best when their backs are up against the wall, and that's exactly how it felt as Syros loomed closer and closer. The final showdown was both everything and nothing like I expected, and I was riveted as I watched it all play out and saw how SOS Hotel's allies rallied together. Victor, Adam, and Zee proved once again that their love was unstoppable, and when the three of them were working together there was nothing they couldn't do. It is a little bittersweet to know that there won't be another SOS Hotel adventure to keep me company, but to be honest after all this chaos, these three deserve a little peace.

This is the end. For real this time.
Adam, Zodiac and Victor have reached the end of the road and they gave us a brilliant finale for an amazing series.
Between scaring huge frogs, hungry alligators, mafia drug lord, sneaky trolls, old friends showing up to help, other friends turned into traitors, the almighty Tom who has all under control as always, Adam will finally set a family matter that has been dragged out for too long.
I really liked that Adam admitted to himself that he wasn't alone in this world and he never would be again, because his lovers would always show up for him.

What I loved the most about this book was the romantic part: there was a lot more intimacy between Kitten, Zee and Vic, and no one of them was scared anymore to say how much he loved the others.
The sex scenes were explosive but also emotional and I liked that they enhanced their powers because of them.

Admittedly, I'm sad that this series reached its end. I'm not very fond of fantasy, but I adored this trio and I really don't want to let them go.

Adam, Victor and Zee are on the final leg of
their "vacation". When they thought they were doing a good deed for a troll, they end up in a bigger mess than the previous two situations. Finding out that Zee isn't completely wrong about frogs surprises Victor. Adam is surprised that alligators are nothing like what he'd read about. Now they're being betrayed by a "friend" and an "enemy" is helping them. Tom Collins is his usual hysterical self. The trio end their trip in a place they never thought to be and Adam has the show down he's been avoiding.

This was a good book that ended the series in a nice place. 😍I would definitely love reading an SOS Hotel book every couple of months because it's always a fun trip. Zee makes everything fun. There was a really funny scene between Zee and Victor that had me LOL so hard my stomach was hurting. 🤣 Their interaction was funny on it's own but Adam's reaction made it even funnier. Other scenes like the frozen trolls, the deflating floaty and Zander showing up were nice entertainment. I'm sorry to see the series ending. 😪

Oh wow what a ride! To say I am sad to see this series end is an understatement. This final instalment went out with a bang...Literally!! There is plenty of heat and spice to get you motivated, if you know what I mean.
I just had so many Laugh out Loud moments, during this read and plenty of heartfelt love between our three misfits!. I did with the previous books but this one seemed to have more, and I loved it.
Zee being his usual fabulous self as Adam comes to terms that he has to end his brothers reign once and for all. Desperate times lead Adam, Victor and Zee to hide out in Florida...with the frogs....OMG and the alligators...you know those small furry little things that eat nuts!!! soooo funny!!
All is supposed to end well with the baddies being caught, so how did Adam and Zee and Victor end up in a prison with no sure way of escape?
Take a ride with these three lovers and see how they win the day!
A resounding 5 stars from me.....you will love love love this series, that I can guarantee!!

Another day in the ridiculous lives of Adam , Zee and Victor .
Still on the run oops i mean vacation from Adams brother things are not going their way as usual.
They end up giving a lift to a troll who’s broke down but he has ulterior motives as they soon learn . So off they go again running from another villain , they end up in the Ever Glades when Zee tells them Alligators are cute and furry and frogs are the size of dogs or bigger. He insists frogs killed the dinosaurs but they just put it down to Zee and is ridiculous self but they’ll soon learn.
With everything stacked against them on Syros spreading lies that they are all mass murderers they know they have to face the music and go home but what they weren’t prepared for is how many lost ones do everything in their power to help them .
Well i suppose this is really the end this time so i’m sad once again but i’m going to look forward to listening to the audiobooks.
