I understood a little bit. I mean, the book was written the year I was born, and Newfrontiers isn't really a thing anymore.
Why did I read this then? You may be asking yourself.
Imagine yourself, a 22 year old kids worker, trying to find kids resources. And then, suddenly, after bagging your 100th copy of Xstreme kids worksheets, you turn around and can't find your way out. You look everywhere. The biographies section. The hermeneutics. Bible analyses fly by you. There is no leaving this place. You do not understand. Is this what your life is destined for? Forever trapped, lost and forgotten in the out-dated youth ministry resources. This is it. This is how I die. Starving in a library.
So, I figure, reading's probably a good way to pass the time.
