One Night with A Street King

Audry is ready to enjoy some fun in the sun with her boyfriend, but her plans come to a halt when his lies finally catch up to him, ending their trip before it even starts. Now, stuck in a city she doesn’t know with a return ticket that doesn’t leave until the next day, she must find something to occupy her time.

Gabriel is in town to handle some last-minute business to ensure that the merger of his company goes as planned. While he didn’t plan on having company on this trip, he can’t ignore the girl who once stole his heart and leave her crying and alone.

Against his better judgment, he invites her to spend the rest of her trip with him while she’s in town. However, neither of them is prepared for the rollercoaster of emotions, fun, and passion they’ll share before it’s time to board their flights back home.

What a fun, quick read. Now Audry, I like you girl, but I was giving you the 👀right from the beginning. Everybody deserves a second chance huh, even for cheating. 😤 Gurl.... you should have forgiven that 🥷🏾 and moved the hell around! Especially with that weak ass excuse he gave you! 👀

Then you go on a trip together to get things back on track, and he shows his whole ass again, and embarrasses you!! Ughhh.... I was glad you finally bossed up and left him crying and bleeding in the airport. 😂 While this chaos is going on, she bumps into her college crush, who rescues her from herself. She was ready to go back home and sulk, but Gabriel is not having any of that.

Gabriel King! He is the man of the streets and runs his business with an iron fist. However, seeing Audry again makes him feel a way, and with her being so upset, he knows he has to do something to help. Audry was the one who got away, as he did not want to subject her to his lifestyle and have her harmed along the way. He knows he shouldn't but he asks her to spend the next day and night with him, to get her mind off her troubles.

These two quickly reconnect and the chemistry is off the charts! 🥵 They are all over Vegas, dining in the finest restaurants, spending big dollars in high end shops, and enjoying each other's company. When they part it is bittersweet, and I was hopeful that something would pull them back together. That ending tho! Please tell me there is more! Enjoyed this. 👍🏾👍🏾

Saved by a King

Audry was supposed to be rekindling her raggedy relationship with her fiance, but when ish hits the fan she is saved by Gabriel an old classmate from college. Audry was basically the one that got away for Gabriel. Due to his lifestyle he chose to never pursue anything with her, but both of them felt like they could take a chance for one night. 

Overall it was mid, but because it was a short read I wanted to see how it ended.

This book definitely started off messy. Imagine thinking you are going on a sweet baecation to rekindle the strained relationship you have with your fiancé only to find out that he betrayed you even worse than you initially thought. But, in true romance book fashion that won't get our FMC down. She rebounds with an upgrade, continues to enjoy the vacation, and eventually finds that her ex gets the karma he deserves. This was a decent read.

Excellent read

Gabe and Audrey’s weekend escapade in Vegas was definitely one to remember. It’s crazy how quickly a flame can ignite and keep burning. Despite the mess that kicked off the adventure, she still got the chance to enjoy herself, close a necessary chapter, and embark on a well deserved journey.

This book started off with “oh shit” moment I wasn’t expecting. I want to say the story felt rushed but it was only 65 pages, so of course it was. The dialogue didn’t feel organic but overall, it was good.

What Happens In Vegas Stays In Vegas!!

Audry thought she was going to be crying and wallowing over Bryan, but Gabriel wasn't going for that especially when he called her his wife and got treated like the queen she is. Bryan broke heart so what in right mind would he be able to question her? Gabriel certified enforce and street king and he didn't Audry to look at him in that light. She busted it open for him and he was giving her b.d.e. Mariah told her to just go with the flow.

Friends to lovers maybe

Very cute quick read with lots of spice and drama. Aubrey's fiance has cheated on her , in an attempt to get back to a good space they take a day trip to Las Vegas. After they arrive Aubrey runs into the mistress in the bathroom, and she has a kid with her . She finds out it's her France's kid and they have another on the way. A brawl breaks out in the airport. A handsome bystander cal!s Aubrey down and takes over her entire trip.

Talk about a way to turn a disaster into a life time memory. He was not playing with her coming out better by the end of their time together. Ughhh, I need you to spin the block, and then include or do a spin off for the sister. I’m always here for a female that can hang with the big boys 😏😌. This was such a great read though!!

Everything happens for a reason and what’s meant to be will always be. I’m glad Gabriel was able to help Audrey get over Bryan’s trifling self. Who would have known they’d run into each other again only to find out they were each other’s college crush. Let’s see what happens in part 2.

Well written, loved the flow of the book. Gabriel seems a bit unhinged yet I can dig it. Can't wait to read book two.
