Different than I expected. This book was more about the victims healing process. Everything after the traumatic day. Her relationships with doctors, nurses and family while coping with recovery.

3.5 stars.
Really enjoyed this story and told from a young victims perspective made it different to other thrillers I've read which was refreshing.
Part 1 is definitely the most gripping, it's longer than needed, there is quite a bit of repetition in Parts 2 and 3. It ends nicely, but I was holding out for a really good (but possibly too obvious) missing twist at the end that could've pulled some parts of the story together really well.
Overall a good read and I'd pick up another by this author.

That was such a disappointment. Really enjoyed it but I expected more at the end. Also sick of reading the same thing over and over again

This was a great story, sad and scary but a roller coaster of perseverance and strength by the sevivers of this traumatic event and the services of other traumatic events. I cried a lot.
