This is a great D/S book! Spice starts on the first page and keeps going the whole way through. There is also a good storyline with amazing characters. I don’t want to give away any spoilers but you should definitely check it out I learned all about a new kinda chair lift and how to have fun at a restaurant 😂😂😂

This is a first read by this author, and now I just wanna read the rest of her books. I think this is definitely one of my favourite BDSM books so far. This is a spicy BDSM story revolving around a contract. A troupe that has been done many times before, but this one really has stood out to me. This book didn't really have many twists and turns in the storyline, instead the plot focus on growth (both physically and emotionally) and exploring Jocelyn and Merrick’s relationship. The story starts with a spicy mfm scene that very well sets the tone of the rest of the book. A strong message that lets you know you’ll be on a ride, full of dominance and and a whole lotta spice. The relationship between the two characters was amazing, the book showed a refreshing side to the Dom/sub arrangement. You get to see all the different ways how one is emotionally involved in this kinda of relationship, and how that can play out. You got to see these two evolve not only individually but as a couple as well. I definitely enjoyed the the banter between these two as well. This was definitely a book you don’t want to put down, I found myself pretty much reading it in one sitting.

I received an advance copy of this book in return for my honest review. I haven't read anything from this author before but I will definitely be reading more! I loved the dynamic between the characters and how he knew she was new to BDSM and he allowed her to explore her sexuality while still maintaining his control. It was spicy from the first page and kept me hooked throughout! I also loved that it had a more realistic feel to it. It still had the billionaire chance encounter aspect but the relationship matured in a fairly reasonable time frame and they weren't both professing their undying love in a week or anything like that. I loved it and I can't wait to read more from Nicki!

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This book does not hold back with the BDSM and opens with sex in the first paragraph. While the spice was hot and heavy, there was still immense character development and growth in the FMC, Jocelyn. I’m obsessed with how strong-willed and confident Jocelyn is and I appreciated how dynamic she was in the story with her personal growth and learning how to open up emotionally. I would be interested to read a future book from Merrick’s perspective to learn more about his history since this is a first- person narration from Jocelyn, so we don’t get to know Merrick as intimately.
This was my first time reading this author, and it certainly will not be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to someone who wants a good plot with their kinky spice. I look forward to seeing if/how Nicki Grace continues with this series.

I received an advance copy of this book in return for my honest opinion.
This is the first book by this author that I have read and as it is a prequel it seemed a good place to start.
The opening chapter is a sex scene which set a great precedent for the rest of the book and I knew that it was going to be full of spice and kinkiness, what I wasn't expecting was the warm hearted plot that accompanied it.
Jocelyn is the main female character and is a strong, powerful woman who works in law. She has her demons and uses sex as a way to evade dealing with them which isn't healthy but she knows no other way until she meets Merrick and realises that submission and him are just what she needs.
There aren't so much twists and turns in the plot focussing mainly on exploring the relationship - both sexual and emotional between the two main characters but it's not all smooth sailing and I found myself wanting to read on so that I could find out what happens meaning I read this book in one sitting.
The author did a great job of portraying the feelings a submissive can experience whilst submitting and I found the scenes to be believable and realistic.
There are lots of subtle hints about the other book in the series which makes me want to pick up a copy of that too and find out even more.

I was given an advanced reader copy of this book to review. I did not know what to expect but I have to say I loved it! I’ve read plenty of BDSM books but this one was different. It had the perfect amount of spice and plot!
The characters really made this book what it was. It definitely shows the different sides to the lifestyle and that it’s not always just about the scenes. These characters evolved throughout the story but I think what I loved was there wasn’t “too much” plot. Yes you knew there was story and background but it mostly focused on them as a couple.
Also I loved that we’re wasn’t a huge plot twist. Sometimes it feels like authors just throw in a plot twist to keep you interested but this book did not need that! I loved it! I couldn’t put it down!

My first Nicki Grace novel but certainly not my last! This book tells us the story of Merrick and Jocelyn-and what a wild ride it is. While the spice is right, so is the plot! Love me some sustenance with that spice.
I was truly unsuspecting at various points of the story but pleasantly surprised with each turn of the page.
I'm also thoroughly impressed with the more realistic view into the BDSM community, as so many assumptions are made but not always are they accurate.
Jocelyn is a badaS$ lawyer who has no sights set on romance. She loves her job and is exceptional at it, but deep down, something is missing. She is truly a force; Jocelyn seemingly knows what she wants and has a hard time relinquishing control. She's a boss, let's just clear that up right now... An interesting proposition finds her and like most of us, her curiosity is piqued.
Merrick is, well, he's "Sir" and you'll love him! He is absolutely delicious- sure of himself and set to have what he wants. He has a filthy mouth but has the perfect balance of whispering sweet everythings that can turn even the worst day around.
This story was honestly a wonderful read and excellent if you're also looking for some new ideas to spice up your own personal life.

I was given this copy in advance in exchange for my review. I had never heard of this author before and omg I absolutely loved it! From the spiciness to the the HEA this book had it all…I loved the banter between the two main characters (Jocelyn and Merrick) and how they supported each other during the hard times. All the character are really written out to the point I felt as though they could be my own friends!
Another point I appreciate about the book is the fact that it shows the other side of a BDSM relationship in that it’s not just physically but mental and emotionally as well which is important…these are two people (with Jocelyn dealing with something serious) and after much arguing and back and forth and serious discussions…her Dom is able to help her overcome her issues and help her grow as an individual.
When I started reading it I had no idea what to expect and I was beyond pleasantly surprised. This is definitely one of those “can’t put it down it’s so good” types of reads. I can see this quickly becoming one of my favorite go-to books time and time again. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

This book was so fantastic! Once I started reading it, I was physically incapable of putting it down. I love the dynamic between the characters, and how well the author handled addressing each character’s individual traumas. I really enjoyed how the main focus of the story was on the connection between Merrick and Jocelyn, with small glimpses of their day to day life. I would 100% rate this a 4.5/5 on the spice scale, with very well written scenes and it definitely comes across as the author spent time and focus to research the BDSM world and the dynamics you can find. I love how the author made sure to include that a Dom/sub dynamic is more than just sexual, and that’s something I’ve had trouble finding in books. The best way I can describe this book is Fifty Shades of Grey vibes, but without all the red flags. I will definitely be reading more from this author!

this book was … wow.
I feel the first thing I need to mention is how well written the “dirty talk” and is … so often when writers even attempt to do this, I get the ick and DNF the book

Jocelyn shortly thereafter quits her job and realizes she needs to figure something out quickly as she is also financially caring for her mother and dead beat stepfather. While interviewing for another job, she runs into Merrick who tells her his company needs a lawyer and that the two of them can have their own arrangement in the bedroom if she is willing.
This story focuses in BDSM but in a way that makes sense for the reader regardless of their knowledge in that realm. There is also a HEA that doesn’t end in a pregnancy which is also a plus.
This is my first novel that I’ve read by Nicki Grace and I already cant wait to read another

Finally a diverse bdsm romance

This book was really good. The characters were fairly healthy. The MMC wasn't toxic and the FMC wasn't a total airhead. I love that their penchant for kink wasn't rooted in trauma and that she was open to trying it without any ill conceived notions of trying to change him. I got a little annoyed at Jocelyn when she completely ignored the obvious solution to her problem and then got mad at Merrick for stepping in and handling things his way. Although, to be fair, I understand her need to handle things herself and her reluctance to rely on others.
My biggest gripe with this book was the editing. The narration tense kept fluctuating(sometimes in the same paragraph if not the same sentence). I kept having to go back and reread things because it would throw me off every time. And this, from the very first sentence.
That being said, I'm still excited to read Jada and Raquel's books.

BOY OH BOY this book starts off SPICY and by that I mean there is spice on the first page!! I said “I’m only gonna read a few chapters tonight”, NOPE it had me finish it in one sitting, didn’t even get up to pee 😂 The names of the chapters are everything. I am still reeling over this book. This has introduced me to a whole level of spice and kinkiness that is just too good. I loved getting to see their relationship develop and their personal growth as well. Merrick and Jocelyn have overcome so much both in their personal lives and together that it’s just so cute! I loved the banter between these two. I haven’t read a lot of BDSM so this was a great start to introduce me to it without it being confusing and overwhelming. It was also a quick read too, which was nice! It got straight to the point and I really enjoyed this one.

If you're looking for a whole lotta SPICE with your romance This is ABSOLUTELY the book for you. You'll meet my newest book boo Merrick, whose a gentleman who's confident and always in control...in all things 😉. You'll find a kindred spirit in Jocelyn, who is a strong and independent woman who also likes being in control ...until she learns she likes giving up her power for pleasure. This book does contain BDSM content that isn't uncomfortable and has a more realistic aspect of the community than other books you may have read. It may even tempt you to try some of the things mentioned. 😏

His Mouthpiece - The Sequel shows a realistic glimpse at a Dom/sub relationship between a strong, independent FMC and a absolutely delicious, Dominant MMC. I absolutely loved the FMC's inner monologs, that had me in giggles. It was refreshing to see a FMC struggle with commitment issues, usually its always the MMC. If you are at all interested in or live the BDSM lifestyle, this would be a great read for you to dip your toes into. Learn a bit of what a relationship should be like, learn some terminology and get some ideas for the bedroom. **wink**
I like that some of the positions are explained as sometimes the way they are written leaves you scratching your head at the logistics of them lol

Research needed
I was going to pass on reviewing this book. I'm not into BDSM in books but it was a pretty good story so I stuck with it.
I loved the two of them together. I both admired Jocelyn and was disgusted with her for her line in the sand move. Admiration because despite her love, she held firm. (Gotta admit that Merrick was a rock star in that scenario too, knowing what was coming). Disgusted because it was really a bogus reason. LOLOL Stupid line.
What really makes me rate this one so low is the lack of research. If you are going to write about lawyers, do some research. There is no company lawyer that is a prosecutor in American courts. That is always *State v. Defendant* for prosecutors. So this annoys me. It's simple to just ask someone. Or a Google search.

So I loved the first book of His Mouth Piece, but damn if I don’t love this book as well.
Jocelyn is a woman who knows what she wants. She wants great sex! Who doesn’t.
She meets Merrick Alexander at the courthouse, is that really their first meeting though? Merrick is like no other guy she’s ever met. He’s powerful, charismatic and brilliant. But oh he’s also so much more.
Because Jocelyn has just left her last job Merrick offers her a job, and so much more. You get to see their relationship go from just a work relationship to so much more.
This is a book that you must read if you are not afraid of more than just your typical vanilla meet cute. This is definitely not that. This would be a Rocky Road with Fudge drizzle meet cute.
Nicki Grace did a wonderful job on this book. I can’t wait to read her other books.

The first scene opened with a sexual encounter that basically set the tone for the rest of the book. No surprises for the type of intimate moments from there on out.

I received this to read before it was released for an honest opinion. This is my first time reading anything from this author and let me tell you, I was hooked from the very first scene! I really enjoyed the fact that the MMC wasn’t the person with relationship issues like most romance books. Merrick was absolutely swoon worthy! I haven’t read a dom/sub book in a little while and this was one of the best I have read in a while! There was a good amount of spice and the plot was great as well. It does have a HEA as well!

This is my first book from this author and I absolutely loved it! From all the spicy scenes to the story line. The author wasted no time at all and the book started with a sex scene which set the tone for the entire book! I also really enjoyed the character development throughout the book. It had a great story line but wasn’t overrun with plot twist which was great. I will say this book was so good that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down!!!

Oh holy balls! This story was very good. This starts with a mfm scene and goes on from there. I love how in the beginning Jocelyn is so take charge and gets what she wants sexually. When Jocelyn runs into Merrick again after their night together you can feel the tension and attraction coming off the pages. The BDSM aspects of this story are perfect. By the end of the story there is such growth for Merrick and Jocelyn both. This is the first book I have read from this author and will be reading everything for her I can. Do yourself a huge favor and read this right now!!!

If you’re looking for spice, this book definitely has it!!! The spice starts immediately in Chapter One!🔥🔥🔥 Jocelyn is a strong, independent woman who is looking for one thing and one thing only- sex. I loved seeing how her character developed throughout.
I, personally, would have liked a little more “fluff”, a little more background. It seemed a little rushed in the beginning, but got better as it went. I’d love to hear more about Merrick!!!

I was lucky enough to be sent a copy of this book by the author in return for my honest review. I have to say that I was not disappointed. Having read Jada and Ashton's story previously, it has been great to see how Jocelyn and Merrick came to be and how Jada came to be in the position of Ashton's Mouthpiece. There is so much smut and that first chapter, holy smokes. I was hooked as soon as I started reading. If you're looking for a romance, with a lot of smut, a few unexpected situations and a good story, look no further!

I loved this book I couldn't put it down! I laughed, my eyes got misty with the vulnerability, and I laughed some more.
When i saw the themes in the book, I needed it because they're all right up my alley. And holy hell, my expectations were met and then some. I mean, that opening line? Come on... 🥵 Parts were so relatable I couldn't help but smile.

There is no other way than to jump right in! And that is exactly what happened, once you turn the cover page you are brought right into a steamy sex scene! Once I started reading it I was unable to put it down. The character building 4/5 was great, we learned pieces of their past and how they took what happened to them and grew from it. The banter and growth between the characters was great!
OMG the spice was definitely their 5/5 and let me tell you, it was spicy. We learn about a different side to BDSM, and that it does not have to be as intense as a lot of people make it out to be. The DOM/SUB relationship is not just about the sex and being submissive, they open up to each other and grow as a couple instead of just a dom/sub relationship.
Overall, I truly enjoyed reading the book, i could not put it down! I will definitely be reading more from Nicki Grace.

Overall good read. It was easy to get into and consume. A nice “light” read. Did not disappoint!
Story flowed relatively well, some of the time jumps are slightly hard to follow but only because everything else is so hot and heavy that the simpleness of the “x weeks later” was surprising.
This would be a book that could be an introduction to BDSM and D/s as it’s intense but not so heavy and intense that it would need warnings(if that makes sense).

This was an amazing read!
I loved how the h was a modern woman! She's confident, independent, has well balanced relationships and admits and is not ashamed that's she's sexual and enjoys sex. This is the first book I've read where the BDSM scenes are explained plainly and expertly without any extra useless frills. Merrick, damn! What a man. What a dom! A respectful and understanding, loving and fair Dom.
Nicki, well done!! I could not put this book down and devoured it in a couple of hours!
