Book Two of the Our Madness series — a dark, emotional continuation of a one-of-a-kind, interracial dark romance between Jennifer and Hunter.
I left a review for the first book. And I absolutely loved it, and I like the continuation of this one too. Lemme see off the top of my head. Oh spoilers!!

The things that I like about it are the very real interactions and dialogue. The one thing I was kind of upset about, but doesn't break the story for me, is that the main man character moved on kind of I usually don't like it when kids get involved in stories like these bcuz it honestly feels annoying but it wasn't too bad in this story. It doesn't interrupt the characters either. That's another thing I can't stand about some romance stories. Whenever there's a kid involved, it's like the kid is always involved in everything and breaking up situations where it's not necessary and it feels like they're forced into it.
I know kids are an everyday part of life and it's realistic, and I do like how the story handles it. But at least hunters kid doesn't feel like that. Also, I don't know why lile I know she's a strong, capable character but I can't stand Emily. ong. I do also like that, even though there is romance, there is still the realistic element of them being in danger. I really hate when books do that like when there's danger then they just conveniently forget that they live in a world with danger around them. I mean u don't know it a lot of the time, but it's always brought up and it always feels like it's there while you're focusing on the characters. So that's a plus.
Joey's character is realistic and I like how there seems to be the perfect love triangle or love rectangle or whatever the hell you want to call it. Like I said I'm not a total fan of first person especially if there's a lot of switching going on, but I actually didn't mind it here.
The story is that good, and it hooks me that I even forget that it's happening. The one thing I will say is that I want to hear more from hunter and Jennifer more than anybody else.
She got on my nerves. She got in front of.those.pple and ran her.mout like a leaky faucet. THEY WAS Playing with fire when the pple around EM already giving EM the side eye.The baby saying she's daddy's mommy cause of what he saw them doing when she should have never been there. I kept yelling for her to say no, stay away. He holding onto his family while sayinghe dont love Emily, make it make sense. I think he might have been baby trapped, but he acts so terribly jealous about Jennifer. I feel like he stuck Joey on the wall to get rid of him. I wonder where this story is going. Joey's spidey senses been going off but he kept holding on to a woman who never said she loved him. Im surprised Stephanie didn't put it together bei g the manipulator she is.
