Tanny wants nothing more than to leave her old life behind, she arrives in Chesterville looking for a place to disappear and escape her abusive father and upbringing. Getting a job at Jayne’s Bar is her new start and a place she feels she can blend into the background. Although everything changes the moment Saxon walks in the bar, President of the local MC, she feels that life has led her to him. But he has an ex determined to ruin what they have, after her father a man who should have loved and protected her showed her nothing but contempt, will she be able to trust Saxon with her heart or should she cut and run?
Saxon has been on his own since he was fifteen, but he has made a life for himself and being the President of The Heartless B*stards MC has given him access to anything he wants especially women. He had no plans to change that until he catch’s sight of Tammy, one look and he knows that she is the one who he will claim as his own and protect her until the death. But when his ex decides to cause trouble for them will he lose her forever or will they get a happy ever after?
First book and I’m hooked to this series, cannot wait to read more 4.7* read.

This is the 1st book in the Heartless Bastards series featuring the OTT short and steamy badboy, insta-love, MC romance between Saxon and Tammy. Tammy has just come to town looking for a fresh start from her abusive father and her horrible upbringing. She gets a job at Jayne's Bar which is considered a dive bar but she's looking for a place where she can blend in and hide. Until Saxon walks into the bar and you can feel the electricity in the air and as soon as he sees Tammy he instantly falls for her. Saxon is the president of the local MC the Heartless Bastards and Tammy knows that she should probably be afraid of him yet she finds herself drawn to him. All Saxon needs to do is to convince the innocent beauty to give him a chance and it looks like it's going to happen for him and Tammy until his ex shows up. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this OTT short and steamy badboy, insta-love, MC romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

She is in a new town trying to start over after leaving her rough upbringing behind. The second he walks into the bar she feels the shift. There is something about him that draws her to him. He is the president of the local MC, used to danger, hookups and living on the edge. He never expected her, but the second he sees her he is drawn to her innocence. She calls to him and he knows that his path just changed course. He just has to convince her to take a chance on a big bad biker. This is a very quick read. There is not a lot of background or detail, just a little overview of their childhood trauma bonding. This story is about two people who are overwhelmingly drawn together despite their differences. Their attraction is raw, primal and instinctual. They have a little drama to navigate before their happily ever after, but it is a quick read with a little intro to the MC family, but no MC drama.

HARD DNF!!
Another total trash, dumpster fire of a romance! Hero is an STD-riddled whore, who inflicts the heroine to one of his castoff cum dumps. The cum dump has a key to his apartment, and barges in when the hero and heroine are in bed. The hero wasn’t surprised. Doesn’t force the discarded skank to give him his key back. This makes it clear that the hero brought the heroine to a bed he fucked another woman in. Like, WTF is this author thinking?
From the heros POV, he goes on to remember that he and Roxy have been through a lot together, breaking up, getting back together, fucking each other. And none of that speaks to a hero who wasn’t emotionally involved. My skin was crawling, the swoon was dead, I was done
NOT safe. Hero is a manwhore, who was in enoigh of a relationship with a skank OW that she had a key to his apartment. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero. OW drama on page. Cheating/sharing unknown as I DNF’ed at OW scene

The story finds eighteen year old Tammy fleeing her home town after her father tries to choke her in a rage. She packs up a bag, hopped on a bus, and arrived in the small town of Chesterville to build her life. She got a job at Jayne's bar and this is where she first meets Saxon. He is the President of the Heartless Bastards gang, who have a reputation of doing no good. But this big and some would say heartless man is about to find his heart belongs to the young and innocent Tammy.
I thought this was an okay start to the new series. I almost felt like Saxon was a caricature of what a bad boy biker should be. Not sure why but this story I was not really feeling a lot.

I really liked the main characters in this book. Saxon had a danger that emanated from him, but it also was magnetic. He didn't have an easy life, being on his own since the age of 15. He chose to make his own family, The Heartless Bastards. Tammy knew she should be afraid of him, and maybe she was a little. Her need for acceptance overrode that fear though. Despite their differences, Saxon was determined to make it work, until an ex ruined everything. It was up to him, again, to identify and eradicate the problem.
This was a fast moving story with insta lust/love and lots of spice. I received a gift copy of this book and voluntarily provided this review. Happy Reading Y'all 📚

Saxon is the leader of the Heartless Bastards and never thought of a woman for the here and now. There is something about Tammy, she is a good girl and he should stay away, but there is no way he can.
The heat is intense between the two but someone tries to wreck what they start.

I believe the resident bad boy is no longer a bad boy. Love has transformed him into a reformed rake, and reformed rakes often make the best husbands, which is what he has now become. As for the female main character (FMC), she should have more faith in him. Fortunately, his love for her is greater than her doubts.

This is Book 1 in the Heartless Bastards Series by this author. It is a steamy instalove biker romance between Tammy and MC president Saxon. These flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an interesting read. It is a love story with drama and steam, sexual tension and chemistry, and twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters. An emotional ride.

Sorry this one was just not for me, i didnt feel the chemistry or build up between the MCs. It was pretty insta love which is just not my thing. I also felt the story was lacking in plot, it was a quick read, which i did finish, but it didnt leave me wanting more.

2.75 stars. Ok read. Kinda cheesy and didn’t seem like an authentic MC. Roxy (Saxon’s ex) got away with way too much. Cover is pretty but not what I picture for a biker.
