Read for the NPPE. Glad this is required for every prospective engineer in Canada. Provides a fantastic summary of the legalities to consider in the profession. Does not make you an expert, but opens your eyes to many concepts. Provides practical insights to the important aspects to protect yourself as a professional. Very useful read for every Canadian to understand the legal framework we live within. Worth reading even if you are not in a profession taking the NPPE but want a practical Canadian law overview.
The book was effective at helping me prepare for the NPPE. The structure of the book was logical and reasonably similar to the exam blueprint which made it easy to see which topics I was covering as I studied. A few more case studies could have been nice to help grasp some of the topics.
This book gives clear explanations of law around the engineering world with good case studies and intuitive summary questions at the end of each chapter. Its a good introduction for any new engineers.
