𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆: 4.5/5

🤎 𝐃𝐫. 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐚'𝐬 "𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐒𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐏𝐓: 𝐈𝐍𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐄𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐅𝐀𝐓𝐄" is a 𝐩𝐨𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 and 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 that transcends conventional 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬. Through this unlikely romance between a 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 and a 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫, the story explores themes of love, identity, caste, and societal defiance. The author with her 𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐲 and 𝐥𝐲𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐞 to questions - from living to loving, goes against the boundaries of 𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐞 and 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞.

🤎 This book tells the story of 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚, a Royal born into ornamental captivity and 𝐕𝐞𝐝, a man whose existence is intertwined with death and ashes. They can't be more different than each other: 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐬. Umm, you can guess what's going on. Yet when their paths cross, it sets off a quiet revolution inside both of them.

“𝘏𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘴𝘩 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘯 - 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥.”

🤎 In characterization, I can go beyond words. Nanda is 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥; she's a 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐫 - someone 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Her journey is one of peeling away gilded illusions. Ved is the story's beating heart - a man whose silence speaks volumes, whose every scar is a line in his unspoken script. Their dynamic becomes a dance fire and stillness. Fire plays a huge role here.

“𝘐𝘧 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘬, 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘵 - 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘢 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘻𝘢, 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘳 𝘢 𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘴𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘥.”

🤎 This quote illustrates the novella's core philosophy: 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 - 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞. Fire in this context doesn't just destroy - it purifies, reshapes. The “𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭” etched onto Ved's skin is symbolic of the stories marginalized bodies carry - 𝐮𝐧𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝, 𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝.

🤎 The author's writing style is 𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐡, 𝐥𝐲𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 and 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐨𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜. The novella reads almost like a long prose-poem, rich with metaphor and subtext. She doesn't shy away from addressing harsh realities like casteism, class divides, and patriarchal silence - but she does it through intimate, human storytelling.

🤎 The slow pacing of this book allows for meditative reflection, though in some ways craves more plot progression. Yet this is a strength for readers who appreciate nuance and layered emotion over dramatic turns. So this book is 𝐛𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 - it's about what happens when two people refuse to accept the roles assigned to them by birth or fate.

🤎 𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 and 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, grounded in 𝐩𝐨𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐲 and 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲, this book lingers long after the final page, urging readers to look beyond appearances and see the stories written in the scars. If you're a fan of poetic fiction, literary 𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 and 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, then this book is only for you.

Set against the mystical backdrop of Kashi, this enchanting romance fiction unveils a story that transcends time, tradition, and even death. The tale begins with the arrival of a sadhvi in the holy city — and with her, unfolds a narrative that feels both ancient and eternal: the forgotten love story of Princess Nanda and Ved, the son of a cremation worker.

Born into opulence, draped in silk and gold, Princess Nanda always felt like she belonged nowhere. Her soul, however, found an unexpected resonance with Ved — a man of soot and sorrow, a forgotten verse from an unfinished poem. Their love was never spoken, yet it bloomed silently, like the jasmine that graces dusk with its fragrance. It was a love that neither sought validation nor craved recognition, but one that thrived in quiet strength and deep emotion.

Their bond, pure and profound, was destined to be challenged by a world bound by customs and blind to love that defied societal norms. Alongside them is a hauntingly silent vagabond — a man who breathes but seems far removed from life. Who is he? What role does he play in this tapestry of love and longing? And what connects the sadhvi to this hauntingly beautiful tale?

The author crafts a mesmerizing journey through the spiritual lanes of Kashi — its ghats, the grand palace, serene ashrams — and into the hearts of characters whose love story is as unconventional as it is unforgettable. With prose that is poetic and emotions that are raw, this book explores the many shades of love: its bliss, its heartbreak, its sacrifices, and its scars.

Reminiscent of the divine love between Radha and Krishna, this story celebrates a love that is just as pure — the tale of Princess Nanda and Ved, a story inked in fire and etched in fate.

Highly recommended to every reader who believes in the magic of love — love that endures, evolves, and echoes across lifetimes.

Scarscript is a deeply moving tale of forbidden love that transcends the borders of class, caste, and destiny. Dr. Nina Apra weaves a lyrical and magical narrative between Princess Nanda—bound by royal blood and duty—and Ved, a cremation worker tied to the sacred flames of release. Their worlds are not just far apart—they are built to never meet. Yet, the story blossoms with poetic defiance, inviting readers into a universe where love dares to bloom in the most impossible of places. The contrast between the opulence of a palace and the raw, spiritual power of the cremation grounds sets the stage for a romance that is both delicate and burning with intensity.

The emotional core of this book lies in the beautifully depicted bond between Nanda and Ved. Their connection feels divinely fated, a soulful pull that resists societal chains. The author captures their journey through vivid, sensory-rich prose—whispers in the forest, flames in the night, stolen glances across boundaries of status and belief. As the story unfolds, readers are left questioning the roles we are given by birth, and the courage it takes to step beyond them. It’s not just a love story—it’s a confrontation with destiny, a reflection on transformation through pain, and the courage to write one's own script in fire.

The cover of Scarscript is as compelling as the story it houses. The minimalist line drawing, formed from a single red thread, elegantly suggests the eternal connection between the protagonists—subtle, artistic, and emotionally charged. The blend of title and tagline—Inked in Fire, Etched in Fate—perfectly mirrors the passionate intensity of the tale. This ebook is a gem for anyone who loves stories that are tender yet defiant, spiritual yet grounded in emotion, and ultimately unforgettable.

The captivating tale of love, destiny, and rebellion against societal norms is Scarscript by Nina Apra. Princess Nanda and Ved, a cremation worker, come from worlds that should never meet, yet fate weaves them together in an unforgettable romance. Tradition, duty, and the ever-present divide between royalty and the outcast put their love to the test.

The story of Nanda, the cherished princess of Kashi, and Ved, the corpse burner, is a poignant reminder that love can cross even the most seemingly insurmountable boundaries. Ved's family had tended the funeral pyres for generations, yet they were shunned by the very people who relied on them. Ved yearned for something more, not wealth, not power, but dignity.

Throughout her entire life, Princess Nanda had also felt like an outsider. She never quite fit in with the servants or the nobles. But when she met Ved, she felt seen, heard, and understood. She felt like she had finally found her place in the world for the first time.

Their love was forbidden, yet they couldn't help but be drawn to each other. The king felt betrayed when he learnt of their relationship. Nanda had to make a decision. Will she put up a fight or give up her love? Please read this book to know the whole story.

The author has etched the love story of Princess Nanda and cremation worker Ved in silence. Silence that spoke more than the words. The author entices the reader into the divergent worlds of Ved and Nanda, a world in which one person belongs and the other is discarded.

The author, through the story, had succeeded in passing on the message that the pain of love transforms; it creates gold from the embers of fire, and the journey of love is about healing and reaching out to humanity.

Overall, a mesmerising read.

The title of the book somehow reflects hidden pain or an unusual kind of grief in it. The cover image of a lady’s face, outlined with a single red line, was truly amazing. It portrays the story’s emotions beautifully and perfectly suits the content.

The main protagonists of the story are Nanda and Ved. Nanda is a princess and the daughter of King Nand Rai of Varanasi, whereas Ved is a cremation worker, like his father, who serves at the Ghats of Varanasi. The story begins with Nanda in the present—now aged, with silver strands in her hair and she takes us through her beautiful, yet rough and deeply emotional journey of love. And why she is now being a… well, to know that, you’ll have to read the book. It’s a short but intense read, so I’d like to preserve the suspense for you to experience yourself.

This is a small romantic story that centers around intense love. However, the love portrayed in this book is not just a standard love story; it also captures pain, grief, unspoken desires, and most importantly, the role of societal norms in love.  I am a romantic fiction genre lover who reads all sorts of love books, but this story hit me differently with its unique storytelling style. It is a short book with seventy-plus pages, and I finished it in a day over a couple of sittings. I especially loved the 'Foreword' part, which serves as a brief but intriguing introduction to the story, sparking curiosity right from the start. The language is rich, just like the narrative itself. The narration and sentence structure are beautifully crafted, enhancing the overall reading experience.

Scarscript by Dr. Nina Apra is a soul-stirring tale that touched me deeply. The story of Princess Nanda and Ved, a cremation worker, is unlike any romance I’ve read before. Their connection is intense, raw, and beautifully emotional. Nanda, though born into royalty, never truly felt like she belonged, while Ved, from a family of corpse burners, longed not for riches but for dignity. When their paths cross, something magical happens—they begin to see and understand each other in a way no one else ever did. Their love, though forbidden, blossoms quietly and powerfully, challenging age-old traditions and forcing them both to make impossible choices. Dr. Nina Apra’s writing is poetic, emotional, and deeply human. This isn’t just a love story—it’s a story of identity, sacrifice, and the courage to rewrite your own fate.

If you’re looking for a romance that’s bold, meaningful, and rooted in deep cultural and spiritual textures, "Scarscript" is the book you’ve been waiting for. It’s not just a love story—it’s a soulful unraveling of destiny, longing, and silent courage. The journey of Princess Nanda and Ved is told with such tenderness, compassion, and quiet wisdom that it lingers in your heart long after you turn the final page. Their love doesn’t arrive in loud declarations—it grows slowly, like a prayer whispered in the dark, carrying the weight of tradition and the light of rebellion.

What sets "Scarscript" apart is how gracefully it treads between pain and passion, tradition and transformation. It’s a story of love that demands more than feeling—it asks for growth, self-discovery, and sometimes sacrifice. Dr. Nina Apra’s prose is rich with symbolism, gentle metaphors, and emotional precision. Her storytelling is both grounding and elevating, as if each sentence is carefully stitched with purpose and poetry. Every interaction, every silence, is layered with meaning that speaks to the soul.

I especially admired how the book strikes a rare balance between elegance and emotion. The lyrical flow never overwhelms the rawness of the characters’ experiences—it enhances them. There’s a spiritual undercurrent that runs throughout the story, making it not just an emotional read but a reflective one too. "Scarscript" is more than literature—it’s a gentle awakening. A must-read for anyone who craves stories that don’t just entertain but elevate.

This book occupies a special little corner in my heart. Simple in the beginning, it is one such that as you move on, you realize that it is emotional in a strange way. The love story of Nanda and Ved is quite a different one: a princess and even a cremation worker belong to two absolutely separate worlds, but there is no unseen force attracting them somehow to each other.

What I enjoyed most was the natural unfolding of the story. It did not feel like anything forced. The emotions, the dilemmas, the secret bond-all just unfolded so organically. It was a story full of contrasts-light, dark, life, death, love, sacrifice-and somehow, the author managed to balance them all quite beautifully.

Characters were pretty much so real that I could almost hear their voices. This relationship finds itself not only unpredictable but deeply meaningful. Their courage, the silent moments they spent with one another and the way they chose love in the face of almost the whole world up against them, found a place in my heart.

This book is not just a read; it is an experience that you could cherish in your heart. It reminds you that love has no rules and is boundary-less. I highly admire the hard work of the author in something very special and honest. If you are looking for a book that speaks to the soul, then this is it. Highly recommended.

I've read many romance books, but none have touched my heart quite like this one.

Princess Nanda too had felt like an outcast her whole life. She never quite fit in among the nobles or the servants. But when she met Ved, she felt seen, heard, and understood. For the first time, she felt like she had found her place in the world. Their love was forbidden, yet they couldn't help but be drawn to each other. When the king discovered their relationship, he felt betrayed. Nanda was forced to make a choice. Will she fight for her love or will sacrifice it? Please read this book to know the whole story.

The story of Nanda and Ved is a beautiful tale of love, sacrifice, and self-discovery. "Together, in this sacred land, they rewrote their story, not in the ink of royal decrees, but in the eternal flame of devotion." This story has left an indelible mark on my heart, and I will carry it with me forever.

I bought the book mostly for some light reading, but I was in for a surprise: I found the tale to be more touching into the depths of my heart. The story of marble-halled princess Nanda in love with a cremation worker, Ved, was unlike any other thing I have read before. Their love flowed raw and emotional; it raised all those questions of uncertainty that had me pondering life. The characters were so real that I could really relate to their dilemma, the depth of their emotions, and the burden of choices they had to make.

But what stood out most was how the author has presented love—not a fairy tale but a force, deep pain, and purity. The mysticism surrounding their clandestine relationship lent it a haunting beauty.

It's not just a love story. It is about stepping over boundaries and looking at everything with a questioning glare while feeling it all to the deepest. I finished the book in one sitting and continued to think about Ved and Nanda. For this, the author has my most sincere admiration for writing an emotional piece that is deeply personal yet profoundly universal.

Highly recommend this book for readers who love emotional, contemplative reads with a tinge of mystery and realism. It is not just a story; it is an all-consuming experience.

The author has beautifully narrated a unique and unforgettable love story — something you don’t come across often. A princess raised in marble halls, and a cremation worker who walks among fire and ashes. Two souls from opposite worlds, drawn together by something divine.

Nanda and Ved are so real, so raw — their journey pulls you in with every emotion: love, longing, pain, dilemma, and above all, the courage to follow your heart even when the whole world says no.

Love here is not pretty pink. It’s messy, forbidden, and unpredictable. But it’s powerful. Their secret meetings, the quiet stares, the unspoken promises — it’s all so tender yet strong. This story shows how love can heal, transform, and also challenge everything you thought you knew.

Will they make it? Or will fate write a different script for them?

You’ll have to read it to know — and trust me, you’ll thank yourself for picking this one.

Dr. Nina Apra deserves applause for her writing — simple yet poetic, intense yet graceful. She makes you feel every word.

Highly recommended to anyone who wants to read a love story that’s deeper than just romance — a tale of fire, faith, and the fight for your soul’s truth.

What promised to be a fiery love story instead transforms into a somewhat mystical love tale, disguised as a fairy tale. Sacred, the ambience was then in between Nanda and Ved, and how the universe seemed to hold its breath every time those two souls were to meet!

Distance is understood in very symbolic terms between the life bestowed by dew and the funerary pyre. These are two separated worlds, with one world created to sustain the living, while another leaves only bones of its denizens abandoned; some souls are born in between.

It was unlike any romance one ever knew; it was painfully slow, poetically agonizing with so much to remain unheard. Author does not tell the story. She breathes life into a world where emotions hide under shadows, and truths bloom in silence.

Scarscript is a book that will stay with me eternally, burned with fire and fate-I think reminds me that love does not equate to being together. Sometimes it means choosing between pain and silence, or maybe truth and comfort. It left me speechless, it somewhat shattered me, but oddly enough, it left me hopeful. If ever there was a love worth memorializing in a book, this is it. Highly recommended!

Reading this book felt like looking in the mirror of the soul. The Nanda-Ved tale is more than a love story; it is an empathy and emotional lesson, an anthem for imperfections. The author gives a splendid picture of love as being rather complicated, sometimes even painful, but an experience that metamorphoses people.

The most beautiful aspect was how real the characters felt. The flawless princess Nanda, the enigmatic worker Ved-these perpetrate stereotypes. They are embedded with wisdom, flaws, and hopes. You feel every pang of emotion-truth, love, confusion, pain, the yearning-for the characters.

There is an ethereal element that captivates the reader, all the while being unflinching in its portrayal of true human feelings. A rare bird maybe where you actually feel the characters speak their story to you.

The author should be congratulated on portraying love in a way that is honest and raw. This story would suit someone who believes that love could arise in absolutely unforeseen occurrences. This story will remain long in your memory, echoing in the heart long after the last page is read.

Nanda and Ved aren’t just characters — they’re two souls etched into my heart forever.

Their love wasn’t soft or easy. It was messy and Painful. The palace. The pyres. The stolen glances. The unsaid words. Every detail felt like poetry written with fire.

Ved — oh, Ved. The quiet strength in his silence, the dignity in his pain… I’ll never forget him.

Nanda’s journey from princess to rebel of her own fate hit deep. She fought for herself. She fought for love.

There were lines that made me cry. And then lines that made me sit in silence and just breathe.
I had chills reading about the moment their hands met across the river — two worlds colliding like it was destiny.

Their love was forbidden. But also so divine. This story taught me that the heart doesn’t care about caste, class, or crowns. It only knows connection.

The writing was lyrical. Almost spiritual. Every chapter felt like a prayer whispered into the wind.

It’s not just a romance. It’s a story about breaking free. About finding a home in another person.

If you believe in soulmates, in divine timing, in fearless love — please pick this up.

I thought this book would be a story of a tragic royal romance, but I ended up finding something much, much deeper. Nanda and Ved hail from such different worlds: hers is one of marble and protocol, his is fashioned out of ashes and silence. Yet somehow, they each carve their own niche of harmony. The author worked some magic by easing me into the characters' hearts with hardly a protest. I admired that in the writing style as well. The forests and ghats, the temple bells-the whole place came alive.

Typical of stories about love, identity, sacrifice, and the price for going against whatever one considers "meant-to-be." Their love exists-black and screaming when the flames were hot-yet still tested by the fires of tradition and duty by which I was torn apart. Not all my way in the ending, but what I got was right, and that's a rare thing to get. Closing this book, I felt like I had walked barefoot on a sacred story.

Some books will give you a laugh; others will break something inside you.

This book broke me—in the best way. Nanda and Ved's story felt like whisperings from some other time, ringing deep within my soul. I was swept by the contrast so soon; one palace sinks under politics, the other has the simplicity of the cremation ghats.

But it is through stillness, and yet a shared look or a quiet stolen acceptance, that love truly grows between them.

Ved, because of his silent strength and humility, was my most favorite. And Nanda- so daring, so real-fighting anything and everything expected from her. This wasn't just romance; it was rebellion. It was poetry. It was divine fate playing with human hearts.

What stuck out to me most was the very emotional texture of the tale. It was not overdramatic, but hit hard. Their scars felt sacred—as title states, a scarscript that burned and destined for the fire. I have always rooted for them, even when it sounds impossible.

I closed it with tears in my eyes and an odd kind of heartfelt calmness. This is a book I will keep very close to my heart forever.

I must say, I have read quite a number of love stories, but none would have prepared me for A Tale of a Royal Princess and a Cremation Worker. It was haunting. It was beautiful. It was raw. I could never have anticipated that it would touch me as deeply as it did. From the opening page, I felt an immediate plunge into a world of silence and fire, duty and rebellion.

Princess Nanda was not just a royal figure; she was a girl torn between her heart and heritage. And Ved, with his silent loyalty and spiritual wisdom, is a rare breed of male leads. Their love doesn't flare up, it simmers; it aches; it glows like an ember in the dark.

The writing was poetic without being heavy. Every scene felt like a prayer. The ghats, the forests, the winds were the heroes. I felt like I was there while the author was making history, carving the deep scars upon their life with the ink of fate.

It's one of those stories reinforcing the idea that love always does not win in the way you wish to see it win; at times, through a loss, it reaches a stage of eternity.

A total surprise for me! A deep, yet unique love story between two characters from contrasting worlds-Nanda, the princess from the marble halls, and Ved, who works in a cremation ground. It felt unreal, yet was so real filled with emotions.

With so much depth to the characters that I could feel their pain, passion, and confusion. Love is not spoken of as something beautiful and perfect; it is very much the ugly, jarring opposite: confounding in the purest acceptance, the most beautiful thing ever. The way their love unfolds in the dark amidst all barriers of society made me rhythmically smile and ache.

Beautiful details, the emotional turns, and powerful commentary that life is unpredictable; I enjoyed how the author showed the darker side, the rawer side of love. This made it feel closer and more realistic.

I became so attached to the two of them by the end. It is an intense journey, but one with a lot of meaning. I would strongly recommend this book if you want to read something emotional, real, and unforgettable.

Scarscript: Inked in Fire, Etched in Fate is one of those rare books that lingers with you long after the final page. Dr. Nina Apra weaves a story that feels both mythic and deeply human—a forbidden love story set against the backdrop of tradition, spiritual duty, and the timeless battle between fate and free will.

Princess Nanda and Ved are beautifully drawn characters, each carrying the weight of their worlds on their shoulders. Their love story unfolds like a quiet storm—tender, aching, and ultimately transformative. The writing is lyrical without being overdone, and the cultural richness adds so much depth and texture to the story. The imagery of the ghats, the sacred forests, and the rituals of fire were absolutely stunning.

What I loved most is that this isn't just a romance—it's about resilience, identity, and choosing love even when the world says no. It’s about writing your own story, even if it's in scars. In conclusion, I will highly recommend this extraordinary love story to all those readers who are looking for a profound read.

Reading "Scarscript" felt like stepping into a forgotten fable—one etched with emotion, mystery, and timeless grace. Princess Nanda’s royal existence and Ved’s grounded simplicity create a contrast that only deepens the beauty of their connection. Their love feels destined yet impossible, tender yet intense, with every moment between them soaked in unspoken longing.

What makes this story truly unforgettable is the way it approaches love—not as something to be worshipped, but something to be understood. The romance is raw, imperfect, and deeply human. Scarscript isn’t just a love story — it’s a lyrical experience that lingers like a half-remembered dream. From the moment Princess Nanda and Ved’s paths cross, I was drawn into their world, so starkly different yet bound together by an invisible thread of fate. The narrative unfolds like poetry, slow and deliberate, wrapping me in its emotional cadence.

What truly moved me was how their love grew in the quietest of moments — beneath temple shadows, amidst the rustling leaves, and behind guarded palace doors. The contrast between Nanda’s royal obligations and Ved’s humble roots adds a raw intensity, making their relationship feel both sacred and forbidden. It’s not just romance; it’s resistance, and that makes every stolen moment between them feel profound.

More than anything, Scarscript reminded me that love doesn’t recognize hierarchies or boundaries. The writing carries depth, not just in emotion but in atmosphere — I could feel the silence, the secrets, the smoky skies. This book left a mark.
