Someone say Irish Bodyguard?
New to me author. I stumbled on and it’s the best when you fall in love with their characters. Killian and Seraphina were full of chemistry and the suspense and drama was perfect. Keep me at the edge of my seat!

Listen, I was 7 years old when "The Bodyguard" with Whitney Houston came out and I watched it with my mom about 100 times growing up. of course i became an adult who LOOOOOOOOVES a bodyguard romance. throw in a dash of close proximity, touch her and die, and chosen family and I am a puddle on the floor. This was definitely my favorite book in the series and what a way to wrap things up. I love when there is a puzzle woven into the story, something you have to figure out, and i pride myself on my ability to predict things in books. I knew early on that i had this one figured out and just as i was patting myself on the back, Rebekah pulled the rug out from underneath me. I went from giggling and kicking my feet to sweating and anxiously chewing my lip. The spice was hot, the action was intense, and there were just enough sweet little swoon-worthy moments to melt me. I have come to expect an easy 10/10 from Rebekah and she always delivers.

I honestly have no idea why I finished this series. The writing was okay although there was some repetition of inner-monologue, thoughts and feelings.
All the guys were supposed so be untouchable and smart, but throughout the wole book, they were a lot of steps behind, played for fools and running around.

The Final Contract
Wow! Book five was a home run in The Black Ledger Billionaires series. A contemporary romance that keeps you on your toes and keeps you guessing at the same time. I found myself bingeing this novel because I just had to know what was in store next and once the slow burn started burning I just couldn’t stop reading.

so sad it ended. I would've loved a longer or extended epilogue, but oh well.
