The story was perfect until I rewrote it. Now I have to stick to the script, or write my own happy ending. I thought I knew exactly how this story would end. The villainess wife gets her comeuppance, the hero finds his true love, and everyone lives happily ever after.
Except I've gone completely off script.
As Victoria Everett, I was supposed to be Manhattan's ice queen, the woman Jason needed to divorce to find his destiny. Instead, I've fallen harder than a romance novel heroine, and Jason's kisses are rewriting everything I thought I knew about love.
But when the original story demands its ending, I'll have to do I play my assigned role, or fight for a love that was never supposed to be mine?
One thing's certain—this is one story that won't end the way anyone expected...
His Not So Perfect Wife is the conclusion of this steamy contemporary billionaire romance duet. This book contains the satisfying HEA that Jason and Victoria deserve, with enough steam to require a cold shower. Must read Book 1, His Not So Villainess Wife, first.REWRITTEN LOVE SERIES Rewriting Us Duet (Jason and Victoria/Zoe) Book 1: His Not So Villainess Wife Book 2: His Not So Perfect Wife
WHAT WAS THE REASON? Seriously, the duet started so cool but then i started suspecting it was 100% the author's writing because some dialogues and phrases are just off for me.. Then in this book you give me around a 100 pages of unnecessary +18 content, don't take me wrong, I love reading smut but those scenes were just unnecessary. You didn't have me a proper isekai! I wanted to see Zoe being Zoe and shock everyone more! Besides, what the honey cookies was the new name of the FML?! That was so cringe. For my little pony, please proof read and edit if you're gonna use tools for writing, and please just let it be this one's because if The Morden Countess is.. I am gonna cry.
I have mixed feelings about this book. I loved the plot and the sass in the first one, but this was basically 33% plot/sassy Zoe/Victoria, and 66% sex. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a steamy novel as much as the next girl, but the first two thirds of this book consisted of 8-10 pages of plot, followed by 20 pages of sex. And repeat… I skimmed much of it. It wasn’t until the last few chapters that the plot came to the fore. Ultimately disappointing
