I find it amazing that I'm the first one reviewing this little gem of a book on Goodreads. I guess it's possibly got to do with the niche nature of its intended audience - creative teams in ad agencies. The author, the Executive Creative Director for Ogilvy & Mather (New York) describes it as a collection of ideas for having ideas. While it's an absolute must-read for anybody in Advertising or Marketing, I think the wisdom this book carries will resonate with anybody who is striving to create something new.

Sample this -
"FOG IS NORMAL.
It's infinitely helpful that in advertising, as in life, there is no grand roadmap that everyone is privy to except you. We are muddling forward, through the fog. Sometimes, having an idea means you'll be the one leading everyone through the fog."

I've read this book a few times. And almost every time, it has helped me untangle a creative knot.
