Like her older sister, Londyn Ambrose was holding out for someone special. Growing up in a small town and having gone to school with everyone in their age range, finding love was hard in Calaway Crossing.
When a scraggly stranger showed up at the café Londyn managed with her sister and cousin, he was nowhere near Londyn’s idea of the perfect man. But there was something about him that intrigued her. He'd carried a guitar halfway across the country and when she heard him play and sing, she hoped maybe he'd stay around for at least a little while.Grayson Geary was a man with a secret. It wasn’t a bad secret, and he didn’t feel guilty about not sharing who he really was with the woman who had befriended him. He just needed to lie low. He liked the small town and the beautiful valley surrounded by mountains and a big river. It was the perfect place to get lost for a while.
Will Londyn’s budding friendship with the mysterious stranger turn into something more? Or will his secret come between them?
Londyn is the second book in the Ambrose Girls of Calaway Crossing series.
Leigh Spends her days with cute, sexy guys. Unfortunately, they’re on paper. But still, not a bad way to spend your day. She also writes about strong, independent women who can hold their own against these irresistible guys. She’s not a pure romance writer because she breaks the rules a bit. But that’s the fun part. Leigh’s stories have adventure, family relationships, and the struggles life throws at you sometimes. But boy always meets girl. They tussle a bit while they figure out what they really want. Then find their happily ever after, even though it might not be what they thought it was going to be. But the most amazing thing about this is, she does it all with a dog on her lap. Her muse may not be one of her book boyfriends. But a cute dog is the next best thing.
So much fun to read. I didn't want it to end as always. Funny banter. Heart warming and so enjoyable. You will not be disappointed and you should read the entire series. I am a very avid reader and this complete series is absolutely a favorite.
I really enjoyed book 1 in this series watching Grayson and Londyn finding their HEA. I'm looking forward to reading book 2 in this series and will definitely recommend this book to everyone.
Reading this book felt like coming home. So well crafted, real people a wonderful town and real personal interactions. The story is full of family, fun and love!
Great story once again! Love the characters. Not as much drama in this one tho. Looking forward to Hadley’s story next! Poor Brock won’t know what hit him😜
This was a great story and held my attention. Caraway Crossing is a make believe town in Oregon, mostly made up of kin folks. So, when’s stranger domesticated to town, everyone is interested, meet Mr. Geary, more to come, enjoy
