Mya has always had a passion for storytelling and has a background in theatre, film, and education. She lives in the Midwest with her husband and children, working a nonromantic job by day while writing romance at night. Her books are contemporary romance with more love, more spice, and more HEAs. When she's not writing, she enjoys reading, singing karaoke, playing mermaids in the pool, and doing puzzles.

I'll be honest - the cover is one that would typically make me skip this book. DO NOT SKIP IT!
Bridget has been burned in the past, so she's built walls around her heart and focuses on her numbers. Numbers don't let her down. Numbers don't lead her on. Numbers don't hurt her. But when she goes out to a club looking for a one night stand and absolutely nothing more, she finds 22-year-old Ethan, a pup who won't seem to stop following her around.
Ethan is in a place of grief, but he begrudgingly heads to the club with his best friend. He doesn't expect to find the woman of his dreams there, and even though she swears nothing more than one night can happen between them, he refuses to go down without a fight.
When Bridget finds out she has to have surgery, there's nobody to help her through it except the one man who won't seem to take no for an answer. Yall, the way this man cares for her is stunningly spectacular. He falls so damn hard.
Sidenote: Be prepared for a twist you will not expect! I am genuinely rarely surprised by the books I read, but this threw me!
"At times, it feels as though he’s reading my thoughts, understanding who I am better than I understand myself, anticipating my needs before I’ve even made a mental checklist of what to do first." - Bridget
"All I want is for her to get some peace and rest. If lying here next to her, practically holding my breath, affords her some comfort, then I’ll gladly serve my queen." - Ethan
Ethan wanted more after having a night of fun with Bridget. Bridget has reasons why she doesn't want a relationship, but after she needed an operation and someone that would take care of her during the recovery, Ethan is there for her. Ethan is very sweet and caring for his family and friends, and he truly is a golden retriever.
Bridget isn't used to someone caring for her; she has an ex who has left emotional scars. That's part of the reason why she likes living alone and being alone, but it's also because letting someone in is scary for her. But she slowly started giving Ethan a chance, and he was very patient with her and her boundaries. During the recovery time they did skin care together, Ethan cooked a lot of delicious food, and they started getting to know each other more.
Bridget and Ethan (22) are so good together. I didn't notice their age difference; Bridget (38) was the only one worried about that, and I love that Ethan was always reassuring and patient with her. He helped her heal from how people had treated her in the past. He really thinks of small details and listens to her. Bridget also remembers what's important to him and makes sure to make new memories while cooking with him because it's important and healing for him. I really loved the pacing of their relationship and that they spend a lot of quality time together. THE PLOT TWIST was shocking, but I'm glad that they already had a connection before that happened. Bridget just couldn't get a break. I really loved the connection between Bridget and her best friend Becka. And the connection between Ethan and his best friend Alyx (I'm excited to read those friendships from other POV's and hopefully their own books). A FIVE-STAR BOOK FOR ME, I'm very excited to read the next book in this series.
Take me to Cougar town. Give me a one way ticket. This story explores the one night stand of Ethan and Bridget. Well, Ethan wants more. He wants to worship Queen Bridget all night. Bridget is not in a place to start a relationship with anyone. This lady has some serious baggage, but who doesn’t these days right?
But with the dimple of desire painted on Ethan’s face Bridget gives in and lets him stay a bit longer with the deal that if he leaves she’d see him again. This slow burn situationship hits all the notes of how you show someone you love them. Showing them before uttering the words because love is given in different ways and shows up differently depending on who it’s for.
Ethan is surrounded by females and shows Bridget new techniques he gets from his younger sisters with Bridget’s nightly routine. Which is huge considering Bridget has a hard time accepting help, and doesn't really trust people. She has been screwed over by every man she’s ever been with and the list isn’t that long either. She has committed to just satisfying her sexual desires with the surface level interactions with men until Ethan.
The soft moments of him taking care of her (the make up removal , the nightly face routine) , the ice fetish, cooking for her, and sharing recipes from his family. Those are the moments that made my heart squeeze.
Ethan kept showing up for Bridget throughout the story. Without hesitation, without wanting anything in return. Just wanting to spend time with her and learn more about her. What makes her tick?
Honestly, the only reason why this wasn’t a 5 star is because of personal reasons. I love an age gap story but it felt like it was the only issue keeping them from being together. I get that she had insecurities but I thought that the primary issue was her not trusting others which is why her circle was small. Yet the age difference kept getting brought up. So, I can only surmise that maybe both were issues the FMC was dealing with. Either way I enjoyed the story and the off the charts chemistry with these two. The spicy scenes had me fanning myself.
Overall it was a... I'll say decent book. I got frustrated and annoyed with the FMC a lot! Loads of eye rolling over here.
I'm not a huge fan of the reverse age gap in general, but I don't mind it if it doesn't get brought up a lot in the book. This, however, was a huge issue for the FMC. And I get it. 16 years is a pretty big gap. But my God... I wanted to throw my kindle so many times! Anyway.... Let's continue.
After her surgery, Bridget was the biggest bitch to the nurse. The were talking about post-op care and not lifting anything and somehow kids were brought up and she lost it. Like the nurse should know she didn't want kids... 🙄 Even before surgery, when the nurse mistook Ethan for her son, she was snappy.
Her constant negativity in respects to relationships.... Come on! All because of a crappy highschool boyfriend? Grow up!
Her attitude towards Ethan helping is annoying AF.
Her pickiness with ice... of all the things! And if she's so picky about it, wouldn't she already have those particular ice moulds? Why did Ethan have to borrow them from his resturant?
Her fear of people seeing her without make-up screams shallow.
When he tried to do something sweet and researched skincare routines and she got mad that he was "mansplaining" skin care to her.
The nicknames "queen" and "pup" 🤢🤮
I could never really get a read on Bridget. Sometimes she was super confident, especially when it comes to work. And there were times she was insecure and shy. For example, they went to a nightclub so she could find a hook-up, but when Ethan took her to the sex club she was almost shocked I guess. IDK....
It sounded like Ethan was a good.... I don't know, 7-8 years older than the oldest sister, but he was only 3 years older than her.
When Bridget went to another resturant and saw Ethan with, what turned out to be his step mom, the description did sound more couple-y. Face to face, holding her and forehead kisses. I could totally see why Bridget thought he was cheating.
Lastly.... Holy Shit! 🤬 Ethan's dad was the cheating Highschool ex-boyfriend?!?!
Anywhooo... I am excited for Becka and Robert's book.
Also, I wish he would have translated what he said when he was speaking Italian.

Mya More’s All Her Broken Pieces delicately unfolds a story of vulnerability, healing, and the unexpected power of love. Bridget, a woman hardened by past hurts, has built walls around her heart, content with fleeting encounters. Ethan, in stark contrast, is an open-hearted romantic, unafraid to embrace deep connection. Their initial one-night stand serves as the catalyst for a compelling exploration of how two seemingly opposite souls can find solace and growth in each other.
More masterfully portrays Bridget’s reluctance to open up, painting a nuanced picture of a woman fiercely protective of her fragile emotions. Her guarded nature feels authentic, stemming from a history that has clearly left its scars. Ethan’s unwavering pursuit, however, isn’t depicted as forceful but rather as a gentle persistence, a quiet understanding that slowly chips away at Bridget’s defenses. His genuine care, amplified when an unexpected surgery forces Bridget to depend on him, allows him entry into her carefully constructed world.
The narrative shines in its portrayal of Ethan’s patient efforts to piece together Bridget’s “broken pieces.” This isn’t a whirlwind romance; instead, it’s a gradual unfolding of trust and intimacy. More skillfully navigates the complexities of Bridget’s emotional journey, allowing her moments of vulnerability to feel earned rather than sudden. The reader roots for Ethan, not just for his romantic ideals, but for his genuine desire to see Bridget heal and find happiness.
While the premise of the damaged woman and the unwavering suitor is a familiar trope, More infuses it with a refreshing sincerity. The focus remains firmly on the emotional landscape of the characters, allowing their connection to develop organically. All Her Broken Pieces is a tender and heartfelt read that explores the courage it takes to risk vulnerability and the transformative power of allowing oneself to love again. It’s a testament to the idea that even the most fractured hearts can find wholeness in the presence of unwavering affection.

Debut novel by Mya More AND I’M HERE FOR IT!! I had the pleasure of working on the Italian part of this book, and I want to thank Mya for trusting me. I can’t wait to see what this series has in store for us!
Falling in love was never part of Bridget’s plans. After giving up on serious relationships, she’s decided to stick to no-strings-attached flings to avoid getting hurt again. Ethan, on the other hand, is a hopeless romantic—he loves deeply and isn’t afraid to show it. When what was meant to be just a one-night stand leaves him wanting more, Ethan does everything he can to convince Bridget to give him a chance. An unexpected surgery forces Bridget to rely on him, giving him a small but precious space in her carefully guarded world. As Ethan tries to mend her shattered trust, Bridget must make the hardest decision of all: risk everything and let herself fall in love.
The first thing that comes to mind when I think about this book is: SO HOT. Yes, there are seriously steamy scenes—no matter how cold it is where you are, you’ll need a fan to cool down. This man’s mouth… goddamn…
But beyond the spice, this book touches on some really important topics. Huge shoutout to the emphasis on prevention, and the love story? A romance that faced a challenge and came out stronger. “All Her Broken Pieces” also includes a pretty unexpected twist—okay, I had a slight hunch at some point, but it still managed to shock me!
I absolutely loved Bridget’s character. Even though I wanted to str4ngle her at times for being so stubborn and hard-headed—I just wanted to shake her and yell, “Do you even see the man in front of you? He’s head over heels for you!”—I still get her. I could really empathize with her because I’m so much like her. I understood her struggle to trust, to let go, to ask for help after a lifetime of depending only on herself.
Ethan, the man that you are. You’re so fictional I can barely believe someone like you could exist, but hey, a girl can hope… maybe. At twenty-two, he’s not a boy, he’s a man. The way he wants to care for Bridget, the way he thinks, he had to grow up way too fast, but it all paid off.
I also really enjoyed the writing style—it didn’t feel like a debut at all. Thank you, Mya, for this gem. I can’t wait to read the next book, which will be an MMF (yes, you read that right), and I’m dying to find out who the third person will be, though I do have a suspect in mind!
*All Her Broken Pieces* is the first book in the delightful debut series by author Mya More, called *The Broken Series*. It's such a fantastic read! The love story between Ethan and Bridget is filled with emotional ups and downs, touching both the female main character (FMC) and the male main character (MMC) as they navigate their journey to a happy ending.
Bridget and Ethan first meet at a club, expecting just a night of fun. But Ethan feels an instant connection with Bridget and wants something deeper. He’s like a true golden retriever—hopelessly romantic—while Bridget, because of her past experiences, has only been interested in casual flings. When something unexpected happens and Bridget needs help for the next six weeks, Ethan jumps in to lend a hand. This gives him the perfect chance to get to know her better, and he's determined to win her heart.
As Bridget starts to lower her defenses, she has to decide if it's worth it to take a chance on Ethan. Throughout the story, Ethan consistently proves that he’s there for her, showing her that he will always choose her, something no one has done before. This support helps Bridget find the strength to heal from her past.
The characters and the world are so wonderfully crafted that you can really feel their emotions and experiences throughout the story. The romance is a lovely slow burn, while the overall pace of the plot is engaging enough to keep you turning the pages in one sitting. It has just the right mix of drama and spice! If you enjoy reverse age gap, golden retriever vibes, and black cats, this book is an absolute must-read. I can’t wait for the next installment in the series and to see what else this talented author has in store!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a perfect example of how you can’t always judge a book by its cover, and you never really know what someone else is dealing with based on their outward appearance. Bridget is the strong businesswoman that has put walls up and does not do relationships. She’s about flings and is all business otherwise keeping very few close to her. Ethan is the younger (16-year age gap), gorgeous, chef with a need to please and take care of people. He exudes golden retriever much to Bridget’s chagrin.
After an amazing one-night stand, Ethan ends up being the person she must turn to when she needs help recovering from surgery. This is where they really see there is so much more beyond first impressions. Bridget basically raised herself and has never learned to accept or ask for help. Ethan basically raised himself and his younger sisters for different reasons than Bridget. As a result, he’s wise beyond his years and had an unlimited amount of understanding and patience while Bridget works through her anxieties, and he was slowly breaking down her defenses. The journey these two take is emotional, spicy and heartfelt. The club?!? This chapter had everything. It was spicy but then hit you with the feels and had some of the most tender and emotional moments.
These two had to really work to get to their HEA and I’m there for it. Mya also handled the mental health rep delicately and thoughtfully. She even included a twist I didn’t see coming along with what felt like an extended epilogue because she gave us a great glimpse of what’s ahead for these two.
Bravo on your debut Mya and I can’t wait for the next installment!
All Her Broken Pieces was an exceptional debut novel for Mya More!
I can't begin to describe all of the ways that I loved this book! Ethan was the perfect golden retriever to Bridget's black cat and his unwavering support of her made me fall for him over and over again. He never gave up on her despite how many times she tried to push him away. He was fun, flirty, filthy, and absolutely perfect to help heal Bridget's wounds. I loved how Ethan and Bridget shared a strong power dynamic that went back and forth between them and they each found exactly what they needed in the other, which really brought such a realistic depth and complexity to this story that was so enjoyable to read and cheer for them all along the way.
In addition to completely falling for Ethan and Bridget, I also loved the autism rep that this book had. Mya did a stellar job incorporating it so organically that it felt like a vital piece of the story and really contributed to Ethan's character overall and all of the ways that he has learned to be attuned to people's behavior due to his experience with Lizzy. I don't want to give too much away, but this was an incredible story with so many nuggets along the way until chapter 29 slaps you in the face, which I was not expecting but I loved the way that everything came together in the end.
TROPES: 🖤One Night Stand 🖤Age Gap 🖤Forced Proximity 🖤Voyeurism 🖤He Falls First
Thank you to Mya More and The Author Agency for the ARC.
Happy release day @author.mya.more ! I can’t wait for everyone to pick up this book!
All Her Broken Pieces is an age gap, forced proximity, black cat x golden retriever romance between Bridget and Ethan.
I completely understood Bridget very early on in this book. She starts off having sworn off of relationships entirely, and the more I read about her, the more I felt for her. She’s very much used to people, especially men, letting her down, so it makes sense why she was so hesitant about letting Ethan into her life and her heart. I get why she really questioned why Ethan would want her, and I loved how she slowly let down her walls to let him into her life.
Ethan is a dream man, in every way. I loved how he has such a big heart, and would do anything for his loved ones. He really does everything possible to show Bridget that he’s not going anywhere, he doesn’t want to go anywhere, all he wants is her, and he doesn’t care what society might have to say about that. Even when she has completely pushed him away, he keeps coming back, showing her that he will always follow up his words with his actions. He is the epitome of how a man should treat his partner, and I absolutely loved him.
Thank you so much to @author.mya.more and @theauthor.agency for this amazing arc!
Please go read this in KU, I cannot recommend it highly enough💗
I can’t tell you how much I loved this book! Bridget and Ethan’s story was everything I needed! I would never have guessed that this is Myra’s debut novel!
🩷Reverse age gap 🩷One night stand turned more 🩷Forced proximity 🩷Black cat x golden retriever 🩷He falls first
After one amazing night together, Bridget puts her walls up and insists to Ethan that she can’t do more than one night. Which has been her mantra for the best of the last two decades.
Until Bridget needs a procedure that requires help and Ethan knows that is his opening to make her give him a chance. Between Bridget’s resistance and Ethan’s preservation, I never could guess which way this was going to go!
I loved Ethan so much. He is the definition of “if he wanted to, he would”. He’s so top tier and I just love how great he was for Ethan. If anyone was going to penetrate her walls, it would be Ethan!
Bridget was hard to love at times because I just wanted to shake her. But seeing her fall for Ethan was an amazing moment.
These two couldn’t be more different, but I think that’s why they worked so well together! They were the piece that the other was missing. I also loved all of the “good boy” moments!
I am really looking forward to the next book based on the tropes!!
Okay, y'all. A golden retriever who's also dominant in the bedroom?! Yes, please!
"Once you get the green light, I'm going to punish that perfect little a$$ of yours. Either with my hand, my tongue, or my c*ck. So, I suggest you stop mentioning our ages, or you can pick a safe word. It's your choice."
🔥Reverse Age Gap 😍Hurt/Care 🔥Black Cat vs. Golden Retriever 😍ASD Rep 🔥He Falls First 😍Good Boy
Mya knocked it out with her debut novel. From the very beginning, Bridget stressed it would be nothing more than a one time thing and that she rarely does repeats. Ethan convinces her that he gets the entire night then. 🫢 After this point, he basically thrusts a friendship upon her and lives up to the nickname of "Pup" that she granted him that very first night. As to be expected with how stubborn she is, she is forced to accept his help when she needs surgery as she doesn't want to impose on anyone else in her life. During this time their relationship & feelings definitely grow.
Let me tell you that I did NOT see the plot twist coming on this one though. I even spoke with Mya and she advised that only 1 early reader caught on. If you're like me, it'll definitely throw you for the same loop it throws our MCs into.
When I tell you I absolutely LOVE black cat x golden retriever I absolutely LOVE it!
Bridget meets Ethan while at a club with her friend and the connection is IMMEDIATE, although Bridget has her walls ALL the way up and guarantees that this is just a one night moment. Ethans goal is to prove her otherwise.
When Bridget needs to have a procedure done and no one is around to take care of her, Ethan (having been raised with a ton of females) immediately steps in to help and while she's hesitant, Bridget lets Ethan and his dimples into her life.
Ethan slowly inserts himself in her life, going through her nighttime skincare routine, getting different shapes/sizes of ice, unknowingly bringing her a dish from her favorite restaurant ( a restaurant that hes the sous chef at!) and just ultimately showing her that not all men are scum and that although there is a substantial age gap between them, he's much more mature than she could've anticipated and will continue to show up as long as she lets him.
Thank you Mya More and the Author Agency for an opportunity to advance read this book for my honest opinion!
What a masterful debut! Mya More delivers an emotional, tender, and spicy love story in All Her Broken Pieces. With a deliciously rare pairing of my two favourite tropes - reverse age gap (she’s 38, he’s 22) and childfree by choice - this book felt like it was written just for me.
Bridget is guarded, pragmatic, and painfully relatable. Numbers are her safe haven, they never betray her like people have. But one impulsive night at a club leads her to sweet, golden-retriever-energy chef Ethan, who latches on to her like he knows she’s meant to be his. Their dynamic is magic: black cat/'hellcat' meets persistent 'pup'. And when a twist of fate (and a twist you won’t see coming!) throws them into forced proximity, their relationship shifts from a one-night stand to something far more intimate and beautiful.
Ethan is the kind of cinnamon roll hero I adore - tender, patient, and unrelenting in his quiet pursuit of Bridget’s heart. His caretaking moments during her recovery? Stunning. Mya More’s exploration of trauma, healing, and trust unfolds slowly, beautifully. With autism rep (secondary character), a pinch of voyeurism, and just the right blend of slow burn and delicious spice, this is a bold, heartfelt romance that absolutely deserves your attention.
Thanks to The Author Agency and Mya More for the ARC. This is my honest opinion.
Mya More has come out swinging with this banger of a debut! If I didn’t know it was a debut, I would have never guessed. Her writing was witty, emotional, and spicy. I was just so in love with this story.
Bridget and Ethan’s story is an age gap (she’s older) one night stand to friends to lovers with a black cat FMC and a golden retriever MMC. Ethan is just the best little pup and he’s so good at reading everything Bridget needs, even when she is being so stubborn that you just want to shake her.
The chemistry between them is so immediate and I love how the dynamic changes back and forth between them depending on what they need at that moment.
It all came together with a super dramatic plot twist that made me have to close the book for a minute. I totally did not see it coming!
I apologize for the super long review but I just loved this book so much! Thank you so much to @author.mya.more and @theauthor.agency for giving me the opportunity to read it! I can’t wait for her next book!
Ethan and Bridget's story is the perfect blend of opposites attract: a loyal, lovable ‘pup’ meets his sharp, fiery ‘hell cat.’ Their relationship is beautifully layered, evolving from sweet tension to passionate intensity with moments that truly take you by surprise.
While the heart of the book is a contemporary romance, Mya More adds depth with emotional intricacies and jaw-dropping twists that leave you thinking, wait… what just happened? It’s sweet. It’s spicy. It’s shocking. And most of all, it’s emotionally satisfying. This story tugs on your heartstrings while keeping you on your toes. A must-read for romance lovers craving something more than the expected.
Rating: 4.5/5 – for characters you’ll root for, tension you’ll feel, and a story that lingers.
All Her Broken Pieces cracked something open in me. I saw so much of myself in her- closed off, guarded, always waiting for the other shoe to drop because trusting people has never gone well. Watching her slowly let Ethan in, needing to see that consistency before she could even think about believing in something real, was powerful. And Ethan didn’t just say the right things- he did them. He showed up over and over without asking for anything back, just because he wanted her to feel safe and cared for. That kind of steady, quiet love hits different.
Their relationship wasn’t rushed- it bloomed in all the right ways, full of care and patience. Once Bridget stopped overthinking the age gap, it was game on. Then that twist hit and I was holding my breath. For a minute, I didn’t think they’d recover from it. But they earned that ending. Every bit of it. The pain, the trust, the healing- it all mattered.
And look, I’m not going to spoil anything, but the pickle story alone makes this one worth reading. If this book isn’t on your TBR, fix that. Immediately.
Ethan & Bridget meet during a fun girls’ night out for Bridget. Her BFF Becka gets her out of the house to help her unwind. Their explosive one-night stand becomes something more for Ethan—he's completely smitten with Bridget. Strong and independent? That’s exactly his type.
Bridget, on the other hand, is like nope, sir—this is a one and done. But Ethan is determined to win her over no matter what. He’s got those golden retriever vibes down. All he wants is to be by her side and treat her like the queen she is.
She’s built walls sky-high thanks to past relationship drama, so she’s not buying anything he’s selling—at least not for a while.
Totally digging the pet names: Hellcat for her and Pup for him. This is a reverse age gap—she’s the cougar, killing it in a man’s world. He’s in his twenties, loves to cook, and is super patient and caring toward Bridget, easing himself into her circle of trust.
The surprise twist toward the end got me! I was like, WHAT—where did that come from?! But it definitely brought the drama—and yes, it ends in a HEA 💕
I just so happen to stumble upon this new author and her debut book, and couldn’t wait to give it a go! I am SO GLAD that I gave this a chance and didn’t sit on it! I absolutely LOVEDDDD this story! Firstly, I loved the reverse age gap. It’s usually the MMC who is the older one, so I love it when it’s the MFC who is the older one. They meet at a club and agree to one night, but Ethan is determined to convince her to a second date. Bridget has ADAMENTLY sworn off relationships after a really awful breakup. I initially got incredibly frustrated with Bridget as she would constantly throw up walls, continually pushing him away. There was so much I loved about Ethan! He is incredibly mature, thoughtful, and loving, but the MOUTH ON THIS MAN. I was NOT. EXPECTING. THAT. He is the most perfect combo of all the traits in the perfect dream man. The story and character development were laid out impeccably. Bridget’s growth was so admirable. This story hit me in all the emotions! Truly a fantastic and engaging story! I didn’t want to put it down! 5 ⭐️
Bridget doesn’t do relationships, romance or love. Ethan is a hopeless romantic. It was supposed to be one night but Ethan isn’t ready to let go. When Bridget needs a procedure and has no one to help her after, Ethan steps up. The more time they spend together, the deeper Ethan falls but Bridget is still holding back. Can Ethan break down her walls or will Bridget successfully push him away for good?
I’m slightly conflicted about this. I did really enjoy it in the end but for most of the book I was annoyed by Bridget. I get she had her heart broken when she was younger but she used that as an excuse to be a bit of a bitch for 20 years! A few times I was properly cringing at what she was saying and how self centred she was being. She’s meant to be a 38 year old, independent woman, but she whined and complained like a spoilt teenager half the time. When THAT happened I mostly understood her reaction but again, she seemed quite immature and selfish. There was plenty to like and enjoy about this book but the way Bridget acted made it a harder read than it should have been.
I love when the MFC isn’t your typical hearts and flowers, waiting for her prince to come and rescue her. Bridget hasn’t had the easiest life. She has been hurt and now prefer to have brief flings where she is basically in charge. Now our MMC Ethan is a hopeless romantic. He’s looking for his Mrs. Right. He wants the forever, so when these two meet and have an amazing night together, he is hooked. Bridget is not. In fact is the reverse age gap story she doesn’t want to commit. At times I felt bad for Ethan because he kept pushing for them to be more and she continuously put up barriers. However true love prevailed. I love a reverse age gap with a strong woman who can handle her business. I just wished reverse age gaps didn’t make the age difference such an issue because in most traditional age gaps the men are not concerned with the age. Great story, lovely spice, interesting characters an enjoyable read.
This book is on a whole different level then most romances I have ever read. The reverse age gap, forced proximity (talk about being up close and personal real fast). Bridget went through a different upbringing, her relationship in high school made her build walls higher than the Great Wall of China. Ethan grew up being a caretaker, first the relationship with his father, the way his bio mom up and left. His dad remarried and he has four other sisters that he helped raised because his dad was always working and he even took care of his step mother’s mom. His nonna is who encouraged him to take up cooking. Ethan falls fast for Bridget and keeps pushing through boundaries to get her to realize they are better together than apart. The “turning” point in the book had my jaw dropped, you will fall in love from beginning to end with Ethan. He is definitely top class book boyfriend material.
Words cannot describe how much I truly love this book. In her debut novel, author Mya More is able to capture a truly beautiful story of a golden retriever MMC and black cat FMC. All Her Broken Pieces shows how an age gap isn’t just made for a man to be older and with the right person it is possible to open up your heart and love again. Ethan is the ideal book boyfriend. There isn’t anything that he wouldn’t do for his lady and he proves that time and time again. Bridget is a strong, independent woman who has been burned before. She learns to break down her walls with Ethan’s patience and devotion. The twist this book throws you still has me spinning. This is a 5 Star must read and my favorite book of 2025!! Oh and the spice is chefs kiss 😘 (IYKYK) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️

This is the first in a new series, and this is Bridget and Ethan’s story. Bridgett is damaged and has sworn off relationships, while Ethan is a hopeless romantic who wears her heart on his sleeve. A one-night stand has Ethan wanting more, and when Bridgett has an unexpected surgery, he steps up to the plate to take care of her. Will Ethan be able to convince Bridgett to take a chance of them being together? This is a well written easy to read, slow burn story, which is an emotional roller coaster, with opposites attract, drama, forced proximity, reverse age gap, determination, vulnerability, trust, taking chances, healing, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and heartfelt, captivating page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
What a way to deliver such a golden retriever, spicy, emotional and just tender love story! Ethan and Bridget are a romance story I didn't know I needed and I couldn't have been more blown away. This was an addicting, quick read for me. We see Bridget, the strong, dominating and traumatized FMC struggle between her lust and her love which is something I truly think woman will connect with here. Ethan is the younger, fairy tale man that you will adore and fight for every step of the way through this novel. There is no slow burn at first, this starts packed with spice but as the book develops you will feel an angst that you can't wait to unpack. I will admit the plot twist curve ball, is one that shook me more than expected leaving me speechless! You are going to laugh, maybe cry but you will absolutely love the undeniable attraction and connection between these two.
All of Her Broken Pieces is emotionally charged in a way that makes you want to hug the book to your chest after every chapter. This debut (!!) blew me away. The writing was amazing and it flowed. Every word felt like it came from the deepest, most vulnerable corners of the heart.
I laughed, I cried, I highlighted. It’s the kind of story that finds all your broken pieces and whispers, “You’re not alone."
If you love these tropes, trust me, this book is a must-read! 🔥Age Gap (she's older) 🔥Forced Proximity 🔥Black Cat/Golden Retriever 🔥One Night Stand 🔥He Falls First/Harder 🔥Hurt/care 🔥ASD Rep 🔥Anxiety Rep

REVERSE AGE GAP AUTISM REPRESENTATION GOLDEN RETRIEVER/BLACK CAT SLOW BURN
this was my first book by this author and I was pleasantly surprised :) cant wait to see what comes next ....
This was a great book! If you like reverse age gap, golden retriever/black cat and strong FMC this is the book you don’t wanna skip.
Bridget is 38 and has trust issues. She doesn’t have relationship with men and if she wants a fun time she gonna do a one night stand. Until she meets Ethan who’s 22 and wants more than a night.
Now Ethan is trying his best to mend her broken heart by breaking down her walls so she can learn to trust him only to find out that the reason for her trust issues is……….!
I’m not into spoiling books so I’ll tell you this, read if you like the tropes mention above
Bridget has closed her heart off to love. She had her best friend, her career, she is a girl boss. When she needs that itch scratched she will get it scratched. Quickly, efficiently l, and with no strings attached. Until Ethan, a young man who just won't take no for an answer. Ethan is smart driven caring and goes after what he wants. And he wants Bridget. This reverse age gap, grumpy (her) sunshine (him), opposites attract was captivating. I ate every bit of this romance up. The push and pull had you screaming, LET HIM IN. And the spice has you panting.
•Age Gap •Black cat/golden retriever •One night stand •He falls first/harder
5/5 ⭐️ 5/5 🌶️
