Jo, an orphaned she-wolf is abducted by witches and warlocks. After being rescued by vampires, she is deposited in the care of Linc, Alpha werewolf king. Lincoln has a reputation, but Jo quickly notices that doesn't seem to align with his subordinates and household's opinion of him. I beta read their story and Vic and Maggie's story.
This was such a sweet read! I would likely describe this as cozy paranormal romance and an adapted take on the Beauty and the Beast story (for Linc and Jo's story); I use cozy when the stakes are more personal instead of at the world level. Excited to see what the final rework of these stories become.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can see myself becoming OBSESSED with the series!! Started off with Beauty and the Beast vibes but it is SO MUCH MORE!
Jo is a wolf shifter that was kidnapped and then rescued. The safe house for her was with the Alpha King who did not want her around. The way Jo pushed the boundaries that were set, her patience with everyone, her kindness, her inner strength, and determination made me fall in love with her story!
The side characters are hilarious and made me fall in love with the story even more! There were a lot of emotions in this story and boy did I feel them ALL! It was a book that made me sad when it was over and I needed more!!!
