I never expected to end up as a nanny for one hot doctor… Let alone three.
After my ex died in a car crash, I’m looking for a fresh start. So now I’m working as a live-in nanny for one sweet little boy… And three silver fox doctors.
Drake, the brooding bad boy with a wicked smile and a dark secret; Edward, the commanding single dad who hides a burning passion beneath his calm exterior; Stanley, the quirky charmer with a heart of gold and hands that undo me with a single touch.
They’re here to mend my broken heart… And wreck me in the most delicious ways.
This nanny doesn’t just need a fresh start… She’s in need of intensive care from head to toe.
NANNY FOR THE DOCTORS is a scorching standalone reverse harem romance overflowing with passion, steam, and an unmissable happily ever after!
Maria is at the hospital helping her friend Chelsea deliver twins when she gets the news that her boyfriend has died. The doctor working on her boyfriend, his name is Drake, is guilt ridden over losing Benjamin, Maria’s boyfriend (although he did nothing wrong. He just couldn’t save Benjamin). He goes to tell and talk to Maria and is instantly struck by how lovely she is. His two friends (both doctors) admonish him, you see Drake has a bad habit of “catching” feelings for girls/women who have suffered a loss. They tell him to be careful.
Drake spirals and begins abusing alcohol and pills because he can’t get over the fact that his patients die on his watch. Meanwhile his doctor friend Edward has had a 4 year old son dropped into his lap by an ex rehab patient who can’t care for the child anymore. Edward hires Maria to nanny for his son, and they begin a sexual relationship, to use the term lightly, as Maria doesn’t want to be in a relationship considering she just lost Benjamin. Stanley, the last trio of doctor friends is over a lot and is also attracted to Maria. Eventually Edward suggests that Maria sleep with all three of them since she’s attracted to them all and they’re all attracted to her. At first Maria balks, and flees. But after talking to her friend Chelsea who is on a relationship with 3 men she comes back (after a rather disastrous “break up” with her dead boyfriends son, yeah yeah she started dating and sleeping with Be Benjamin’s son, I think grief brought them together though). She says she is open to trying out this 4 way arrangement and they all have sex. This arrangements continues while they all decide how they want to “move forward.” The book ends with them all together.
**THOUGHTS**
First off let me say the books “format” was AWFUL. I don’t know if that was the fault of the editor (if there was one) or how it was transcribed when it was formatted for kindle, but it was pretty terrible. There were entire two spaces between dialogue changes, and it was hard to figure out who was saying what. There were no paragraph indentation and frankly this book needs an overall before being available to read again. Now, onto the actual story…it was as boring as watching paint dry…probably more boring than that!! There was literally no drama, no real issues even though all the characters had huge problems in their life. How the author managed to write a listless, zero free drama book with no angst considering all 4 characters were kinda of messed up is beyond me. But Drake was abusing drugs and alcohol, Maria was a young, broke nanny who had just lost her much older boyfriend and started sleeping with his SON, Edward had a kid he never knew about dropped into his lap and Stanley was filled with unresolved grief. All their lives were “messy” but everything just seamlessly worked out with any real issues, confrontation of consequences. The book read drier than a dictionary. By the time the book was over I didn’t care about any of these characters anymore, I was just happy that the book was over. I honestly cannot understand how this book got so many stars. IMO you’d be better off reading an SAT manual.
If you're a fan of spicy reverse harem romances with heart and heat, Nanny for the Doctors by Emma Harris is one to add to your list. This steamy age-gap romance delivers on both emotional depth and seductive tension, centering around Maria, a young nanny who unexpectedly finds herself entangled with not one, but three swoon-worthy doctors: Drake, Edward, and Stanley. The chemistry in this book is off the charts. The intimate scenes are written with heat and intensity, but never at the expense of character or story. Each doctor brings something different to the dynamic—charm, brooding tension, emotional vulnerability—and Maria's connections with each of them feel distinct and authentic. The storyline is more than just romantic entanglements. There are emotional undercurrents dealing with grief, healing, and personal growth, which give the book an unexpected level of depth. Maria’s evolution throughout the novel—from caretaker to someone who claims love and passion on her own terms—is particularly satisfying.
Content Warning The book includes depictions of drug abuse, which is handled with realism and emotional gravity. While it adds a darker layer to the story, sensitive readers may want to be aware going in.
Final Thoughts Nanny for the Doctors is a fun, steamy, and emotionally engaging ride. If you’re into age-gap dynamics, complex emotional arcs, and a generous dose of spice, this book won’t disappoint. Just be prepared—it’s not all sweet kisses and smoldering glances. It digs into heavier issues while still delivering all the romance fans of the genre crave.

Thoughts:
This was messy all around. The FMC was MESSY. I know she was dealing with the death of a loved one and everyone deals with that in their own way, but damn. She didn’t think before she acted. Personally, I found it completely disgusting how she used the son of her ex-partner. While she may have not done it intentionally, that’s exactly what she did.
I should have just DNF at 45% when I wanted to. The relationship she built with them after that felt dirty. I lost interest in it entirely. Also some of the sex scenes didn’t make sense at parts.
She is in need of a new start and finds it when Edward learns that he is a father and now needs a nanny for his son. It starts a new path for Maria and the doctors that work along with Edward. As they find their way around each other feelings begin to blossom, and hope rises. Will Mari's new start be the beginning to a happily ever after with her, Edward, Drake and Stanley. This heartfelt reverse harem had me all caught up in the characters and the drama surrounding them.

This book was enjoyable to read. It was a range of emotions from start to finish. For the heroin in the story to go through soo much emotion throughout the story, made you feel like you were right there with her throughout. The men that helped her thought out the journey and in which she helped them a lot more than she realized as well. It had an enjoyable outcome for everyone involved.

I have read reverse harem books but I felt the story all over the place and not much about the story line that kept me interested. Wished for more excitement and more of the background of the characters but nothing. I also personally was disappointed on the read and hoped it got better but unfortunately it didn’t
They all have things changing in their life's and some are not so good. They do make a great team when they communicate. I would love to see what the future holds for all of them.
