She ran from the devil. And straight into the arms of a Bratva beast.

I’ve lived through hell in heels—smiling for the world while hiding bruises behind designer sunglasses. But now? I’m done. My only goal is to keep my son safe, even if it means begging for protection from a stranger who looks like he kills before breakfast. Nikolay Ivanov is not a good man. He’s dangerous, deadly, and the last person I should trust. But when my ex-husband starts hunting us like prey, Nikolay becomes the only man standing between us and a bullet. It was supposed to be business. A deal. Temporary. So why does my heart keep forgetting that he’s Bratva—and I’ve already bled enough for love?
Nikolay
She walked into my world with fire in her eyes and a proposition that should’ve made me laugh. Instead, it made me look twice. She’s too soft, too polished, too fragile to survive my life. But someone hurt her. Bad. And the second I saw her son cling to her like a lifeline, I knew—this wasn’t about business anymore. I protect what’s mine. Always have. Always will. Even if I have to burn my empire to the ground to do it.

This is a standalone full-length BWWM Romance with a HEA.
The end surprised me I thought it was going to end a certain way, but it was still a great ending. Also awhile beware the quiet ones you think don’t know about them but they are always paying attention and listen, they’re not as dum as you think. The story of Cyana & Nikolay is a really great read I can see myself reading this again.
Ms. Brooks is back and better than ever! She truly writes compelling characters that I enjoy; if I don’t like the male or female lead-that’s a wrap, sweetheart! Nikolay and Cyana had such a great story arc, from ice cold and trembly to falling falling for each other amidst intrigue to their immensely satisfying HEA. Chef’s kiss 💋
This book is supposed to be a Bratva romance but isn’t really. Nicolay was a complete pushover in business and the whole disappearing act at the end was just too cliche.
this book was very disappointing. the hero appeared weak. when he kneeled to a lesser being or anyone for that matter was unbelievable. HIs men had no dicipline. it was not a good story.
