Brother's Best Friend ~ Dual Sports ~ Snowed In ~ Secret Relationship

Sulley

I’m the reluctant star of women’s professional basketball. The darling of sports media. The golden girl of my new hometown, Philadelphia.

Despite appearing as though I have a charmed life, things are not always as they seem. I’m still grieving the loss of my brother and his lifelong best friend’s betrayal. Throw in some vindictive basketball opponents and an overzealous fan, and I feel like I’m constantly on edge.

Did I mention that my brother’s best friend is Vance McCaffrey, the star quarterback for the Philly Camels? I don’t want to see Vance; he brings back too many painful memories, but, much to my dismay, he keeps popping up in my world. I can’t even look at his deceitful face.

Okay, maybe I had a teeny crush on him when I was younger, but that’s in the past. I refuse to let his gorgeous face, bulging muscles, and pull-worthy wavy hair cloud my judgment. Vance McCaffrey is completely off-limits. He betrayed my brother and broke my entire family’s heart with his duplicity. Not to mention, the man is clearly keeping secrets.

As thefullstory unravels and feelings rise to the surface, I begin to realize that all isn’t as it seems. Vance’s secrets not only threaten to rewrite the past, but they may very well alter the course of my future.

About the author

A.K. Landow

24 books393 followers
Known as the queen of RaunchCom, AK Landow is a spicy RomCom author. She’s a recovering attorney living outside of the Philadelphia area with her husband, who she secretly pined for through her teen years, three crazy daughters, and multiple animals.

She enjoys reading, now writing, drinking copious amounts of vodka, and laughing. Having discovered there’s no other need in the world for funny perverts, she’s thrilled to have this new avenue to channel her age-inappropriate sense of humor.

She began her publishing journey with the City of Sisterly Love series, initially writing the first book, Knight, because it pisses her off that there are so few FMCs over the age of 40. She wrote it as an FU to the romance community to let them know that "oldies" still get it on. She fell so madly in love with both being an author and her fictitious family, that she can't seem to stop writing.

The entire series centers around a group of strong, intelligent, confident, and supportive women. The central family is known for severe cases of oversharing and walking in on each other. Hilarity often ensues.

The Belles of Broad Street series debuted in 2023 with Conflicting Ventures. Indecent Ventures and Unexpected Ventures followed shortly thereafter. The final book in the series, Enchanted Ventures, came out in early 2024. It world shares with the City of Sisterly Love series, but can be read as standalones.

2024 also became the year AK entered the sports romance world. Staying true to her goals of portraying strong women, her debut sports romance novel, Double Play, is both a baseball AND softball romance. It's the first in the Extra Innings series, which is now complete with four full-length novels and a prequel novella.

In 2025, AK is looking forward to diving into the world of women's basketball and men's football. The first book in the Fourth Quarter Fever series will be Home Town Advantage, coming on September 4, 2025.

Her writing is known for laughs, tears, and being one-handed reads.

Listennnnnn. I have never heard of a RaunchCom before.... but it's my new favorite genre okkk? This was phenomenal. It was not only spicy and funny but it was so emotional and had my heart pounding out of my chest and my jaw on the floor. The dual sports storyline was so much fun and the writing style was so easy to read.

I ATE up the side characters and the fun group outings, all the practices and the games. Every single moment they were all together, chaos happened and it was so fun.

Vance freaking McCafery... you sir are EVERYTHING. The way that he consistently put his happiness aside for Sulley and Finn without needing any acknowledgement 😫 ugh. All the things he did for others and the weight he held on his shoulders just showed how amazing a man he is.

I could just feel their love jumping off the pages and the emotions pouring out of them as the story went on. It's rare when a book checks every single box for me and this one did it. I wouldn't change a single thing about it.

Tropes:

This was one of those rare books that doesn’t just tell a story, it makes you feel it deep in your heart and soul. From the very first page, I was throughly engaged.
This book has everything I love. With raw emotion, playful camaraderie, and a romance that feels both forbidden and inevitable. The push and pull between Sulley and Vance was written so beautifully, with just the right balance of tension, vulnerability, and passion.
The sports backdrop added such a fun depth that I always enjoy in AK’s books, giving us moments of teamwork, fun, and banter that made me smile and laugh my boogie off.
The writing style was so smooth and heartfelt, it draws you in effortlessly. Every scene felt purposeful, every character came alive, and the storyline unfolded in a way that was simply perfect. It’s one of those books that lingers long after you’ve finished, the kind that makes you laugh, cry, and believe in second chances.
Home Town Advantage isn’t just a dual sports romance, it’s a story about grief, healing, trust, and the power of love to rewrite the past. The sports aspect is the perfectly constructed bonus!

AK Landow, you are like a fine wine. You just keep getting better and better with age and every book that you write!

"Home Town Advantage" kicks off AK's, what is this? Her fourth or fifth series? Whichever it is, it doesn't matter because either still isn't enough - that said, this series right here? We have entered into a new world!!! A new AK Landow world, but of course it's got a slight crossover!! And do we love this crossover, OMFG yes we do!!! But this new world, this new set of characters, this new story... wow. This is the new era of AK Landow and I am sooooo here for it!

This story OF COURSE has all of the fabulous things that come with an AK Landow novel: it's funny, it's sexy, it's comedic gold while making you blush in public (if you dare read in public), while also crushing you. Oh yes, the Queen of Philly, the Queen of the Raunch-Com manages to crush me every time, with every book. This story though - oh man - she took us for a ride! The depths of this story were amazing - the complexities and intricacies... prepare yourself before jumping in because you're in for a ride that is sure to tickle every one of your senses. In lots of moments I was laughing so hard or at least snort-laughing; in other times I was cranking the a/c, finding a fan and sucking on some ice while yelling for my husband to come "help" me *ehem*; then in other moments, well... my heart was literally being crushed and torn in two. Way to go AK - just bringing me to the highest of the highs while also bringing me to the lowest soul-crushing lows - evoking all of my senses to wake up with every page that I flipped.

As for the specifics of this story... to be totally frank with you, attempting to give you snippets of what this story is about or even what it meant to me will never ever do the story justice. There are literally so many parts of this story and the unfolding of various plots is incredible. I mean, how can one attempt to describe the level of funny? You just can't! So just do yourself and everyone else a favor and just go read it. Seriously. But you can go to the book's description to learn what it's about - two professional athletes, brother's best friend, and maybe a second chance? with more - but here is all that you have to know if you're new here, in the AK Landow world: get on the boat. If you haven't read her books, you're missing out. Especially if you like professional sports as a trope, in her last series and this one, you've got both main characters as pro athletes, so AK is doubling your pleasure!

As I always say in my reviews for an AK Landow book, at the surface it's funny, raunchy, and very sexy, but when you get past that you find the incredibly deep level of human emotion that is so mixed into every scene of every one of her books. This story had that, and then some. This book, to me, felt very different from her previous books - it felt like more. This is, imho, a new era for AK Landow and I am so excited to be here for it!

... now, with that said, give me Beau's story!!! You have written that man exclusively for me and I am literally desperate for him! So AK, gimme!!!!

With all the utmost respect, damn you AK Landow for making me cry. This one hit so close to home on so many levels, the shared trauma Vance & Sully shared made me an emotional wreck. It hit hard and accurately with their grief. AND, now I don’t know which book to get my tattoo after. I was ready to die on the hill that Double Play is my favorite, but this one has me questioning. DID VANCE STEAL LAYTON’S NUMBER ONE SPOT?!? I’m shook 🤣

After crying from emotions, I was crying from laughing so hard. AK Landow never misses in her humor and there were multiple times I audibly laughed out loud.

I am utterly and truly obsessed already with this new series. I’m not even a basketball fan but this book made me want to turn on women’s basketball. Sully is my spirit animal, BUT KENNEDY… I need her book like I need air. The girl tribe is fierce in this one and I love it. AK Landow writes Bad Ass FMCs 👏👏👏

I could go on and on, but this one is a definite 100/10!

3.5 ⭐️ thank you HambrightPR for an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own!

I’ve never heard the term “raunch-com” before this book, but honestly? I vibe with it. This book was hilarious, sexy, and dramatic to the fullest. I had a fun time reading it and loved the ending so much.

I really liked the female athlete representation and how supportive the team was shown to be instead of the typical “mean girl” ideation around some sports. And Sully’s character, along with her amazing teammates, were greatly thought out and I loved getting to know them. Vance and his team was also very fun to get to know and learn the team dynamic (which admittedly is one of my favorites parts of sports romances) so I’ll say that was definitely a plus!

This book was and wasn’t what I expected when going in. I felt a little confused in the beginning when we were going back and forth between time periods and then when we hit “today” I felt like there was a lot of filler to expand the plot. In the beginning, there was also too much thrown at the reader at once. I felt like I was getting storylines and backgrounds on EVERY character that was thrown in the mix which could have been done a bit better, but otherwise, this book was great.

If you’re looking for a light read with family drama, both MC’s being athletes, and a bit of a forbidden age gap element, I would definitely recommend Home Town Advantage!!

Well well well here we are a new series. A new set of people whom we can fall in love with and the start with Sally and Vance has just my heart beating like nobody's business. Anytime, anytime AK writes her books, you know I am here just ready to inhale it. Enjoy it. Bask in the love that she has poured over those pages and I'm in awe of this woman.

Now coming to read a new series, a new book, a new set of friends that whom I've already made my claims for. If you want to know, please DM me. I'm here to let you know who it is, but oh my God, what a fun bunch and we are right back where AK gives me the tingles and the feels and joy, funny feelings, excitement, love , heartache and everything in between. It was just perfect, Home Town Advantage.

Sulley O'Shea and Vance Mccafery, you have stories which are gentle and soothing and ones which are roaring in your face. But Sulley and Vance are something else all together. The key component in this book is LOVE FOR THE OTHER. Read it to know how and why. But this brother's best , age gap, sports romance with all the heat and trauma, it is perfection. There are so many aspects that this book touched on ,that it resonates with you throughout. Female friendships to men and their sports camaraderie/ friendships, ah it was beautiful.

Inhaling is a small word to say how this book consumed me. But holy hot balls it was killer. This group of friends were a hoot and a half. We meet our favs as well. And it's always fun to have such cameos. All in all Home Town Advantage was a banger of a start to this series.

If this is how the series starts, I just know it’s going to be amazing! I’ve loved the Extra Innings series (even though I still need to finish it 🫣), and seeing those couples pop up here reminded me why I adore second-gen series so much. It feels like an interconnected Easter Egg universe for longtime readers, while still being totally inviting for new ones.

This book had me in all my feelings. I’m not usually the biggest fan of second-chance romance (especially when the “second chance” is needed the way it is here…iykyk), but AK had me bouncing between cackling, kicking my feet, grinning, and swallowing a lump in my throat. She crafted a story that not only makes you question how you see things, but also shows so beautifully that grief and healing come in many forms and even challenges principles like, “is lying always bad?”

This book wasn’t just a story; it was an experience. The love, in all its forms, the banter, the side characters (including past MCs now stealing the show again) elevated it from a simple romance into something unforgettable. And the fact that AK fit all of this into under 500 pages? Pure wizardry.

Sulley and Vance’s complicated history (layered with mixed emotions, secrets, tension, and vulnerability) made every moment worth it. Add in the friendships and family surrounding them, and this story just hit all the right notes.

I cannot wait for the rest of this series. I’m already obsessed with everyone on both teams, but let’s be honest, I know Kennedy and Beau are going to absolutely slay when it’s their turn.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, @aklandow_author and @hambright_pr for the ARC!

Another fun AK Landow sports romance? Yes, please! As always, there's terrific banter, hilarious side characters (looking at you, Meemaw!), and delicious spice, as well as emotional depth, tragic past events, and complicated feelings.

I always enjoy the found family feeling that comes along with team dynamics, and this gets an extra boost when our characters are friends with the gang from the Extra Innings series, whom we already know and love.

Vance and Sulley are fire together, with explosive and undeniable attraction. It's an age gap, second chance, secret romance with hilarious and supportive friends and a lot of "your mama" jokes. I did a lot of laughing - as usual, for an AK Landow romcom - as well as a bit of sniffling.

Once again, I am reminded of exactly why this author is on my auto-buy list. If you read sports romance but you haven't read any RaunchCom, where have you been? Pick this one up to see what you're missing, then go back and read the Extra Innings series.

I am definitely looking forward to Kennedy and Daylen, I think they might be my favorite pairing yet!

Thank you to the author for my gifted ARC and for having me on your team! I am voluntarily sharing my honest review.

🌶🌶 - Spice Level

Sulley and Vance are connected by her older brother, whom they lost on his final deployment. Vance promised that in Finn's absence to take step up for Sulley and Maddie, his last girlfriend. These two have a second chance if they can get past what happened to them after Finn's death.

Of all the reasons for a second chance or a missed connection, these two were a perfect fit. I loved that both had secret crushes on each other at different times. 😍 Vance was making all the moves in memory of Finn's, which was gutted wrenching but healing all the same. Cue the tears when you read all the memories. If redemption was a person, Vance's redemption is at least the top ten listed in the dictionary. Sulley is still a rookie in the WNBA when you first meet her, but she's got a way of melting right into her team and making friends, which she's never had. The chemistry and smeggsy between Vance and Sulley will burn your pages. I also adored Vance's MeeMaw and Kennedy. Between the two of them, I was in stitches along with Daylen, the joking playboy. I can't wait for the next couple to fall. We have hints for who.. 😉

Blew Me Away!

This series starter blew me away—the laughs, the cries, the wanting to throw my kindle and me yelling at the characters outloud. I loved this read soo much. This may be my new favourite read from AK, but it’s hard to say. It’s kinda like picking your favourite sibling but you love each one too much to pick favourites.

I read this book in one sitting. I shut off my life and let this book engulf me.  I loved Sully and Vance soo much. Vance sacrificed almost everything to honour a promise to his best friend. Thankfully fate intervened and helped get him back on the right path. The journey for Sully and Vance wasn’t easy, but it was well deserved. I can’t wait to read more from this world!

A.K. Landow does it again with another great read! I loved her softball/baseball series and was so glad they were mentioned.

This book had me in tears. Our FMC loses her brother and the grief is palpable. Her tenacity was amazing. And the MC? Wow both had great character development. I enjoyed the football/basketball talk. Can't wait for the next book!

This was my very first book by A.K. Landow and honestly, what a perfect introduction. From the very first page I was pulled right into Sulley and Vance’s story, and I didn’t want to put it down even for a second. Their connection felt raw, tender, and full of that forbidden spark that makes you root for them even harder. The way their past heartbreaks and hidden truths tangled with present emotions made this story feel so real and so intense.
What I loved most was how beautifully the book balanced emotion and lighthearted moments. One minute my heart was aching with their struggles, and the next I was smiling at the playful banter and sports energy that kept the story fun and fresh. The dual sports backdrop gave such a unique vibe, adding layers of teamwork, rivalry, and camaraderie that made everything even more special.
The writing was smooth, heartfelt, and absolutely addictive. Every chapter felt purposeful, every character was alive, and the pacing was just perfect. It’s one of those books that keeps you hooked from beginning to end and leaves you thinking about it long after. For my very first read by this author, I can confidently say it won’t be my last. I’m already excited to explore more of her stories because if this debut for me was this good, I can only imagine how amazing the rest are.

ARC review 5/5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Starting this new series was such an emotional ride — full of love, grief, forgiveness, and the kind of raw moments that stay with you long after the last page. It’s one of those stories that makes you feel everything — the heartbreak, the healing, and the hope of new love.

What made it even more special for me was seeing the author’s growth shine through in this book. Watching her writing evolve from her earlier reads to now has been so rewarding — her characters are deeper, her emotions sharper, and her storytelling stronger than ever. I’m so proud of you AK!

For those who love a good brother’s best friend romance, with the added layers of an age gap and the intensity of sports romance, this book is an absolute must-read. It’s heartfelt, beautifully written, and easily one of my new favorites…

This book was perfection ✨

Home Town Advantage is the first book in AK Landow’s new series – Fourth Quarter Fever. When I read the prologue, I expected another winner from an author who has quickly become a must read for me. After reading the book, I’m happy to say it lived up to my very high expectations!

AK’s writing style draws you in and it’s hard to put the book down. One minute you’re laughing out loud at Vance’s grandma’s antics and the next you’re fighting tears as Sulley and Vance work their way through unresolved issues from the death of her brother/his best friend Finn. I loved how Sulley didn’t pine away for Vance in the years they were apart. She gets back into college (thanks to Vance), had relationships, and became the superstar her brother believed she would become. Vance continued his life as a pro-quarterback for the Camels, but he always looked after Sulley from afar keeping his promise to Finn.

AK skillfully introduces new characters that you want to know more about while we giving us sneak peeks at our old favorites from the Extra Innings series. Since this is a new cast of characters, it’s no surprise that AK’s female cast of characters are strong, independent women who know what they want and go after it. Sulley is drafted to the Beavers, an expansion team, and as a rookie is the face of women’s basketball. The team starts off kind of shaky but quickly become teammates who are there for each other on and off the court. I can’t wait to see what AK has in store for Kennedy! Vance and the Camels are the established pro football team. These guys are not only his teammates; they’re his family. I love how they’re not portrayed as stereotypical professional football players. While they are that, they’re more complex. Love how the biggest dude Beau is also the smartest and somehow convinces them to do the funniest things!

The book was filled with almost all of my favorite tropes: dual sports romance, older brother’s best friend, second chances, secret relationship, and had just the right amount of spice to keep you flipping the pages.

If you love sports romance with incredible characters and a storyline that holds you hostage, pick up Home Town Advantage. You won’t regret it.

This was a surprised 5 star read for me - my first book of AK Landow as well. It's truly a book that made me laugh out loud (courtesy of the side characters too). Despite all the laughs though, this book was full of emotional trauma and secrets to the nines and I loved every single moment of it haha.

The book is about Sulley, she's the new face of the WNBA (I think loosely based on Caitlin Clark - based on a lot of similarities) and Vance, Philly's football team quarterback and also equally famous. These two are childhood friends. Vance was bestfriends with Sulley's older brother Finn who is the center of this whole book I believe. He passed away in line of duty while deployed but the secrets and wishes of Finn to Vance changed the trajectory of MCs and their families' lives. Sulley hated Vance but the pull between them was too strong and they started a secret relationship and eventually fell in love (eventhough it was clear they both were pining for each other).

I love Vance's character. I didnt understand it at first. Why all the secrets? Yes, it was the plot but I felt like he held on to it for too long but then I understood it at the end and I applaud him for it. I loved the way he supported and loved Sulley from far away. The way he yearns for her was just pathetically good. I also loved Sulley. She's a great FMC that is easy for root for. Both of them actually. I love how their relationship evolved despite all the secrets. The spice scenes were so good too. Definitely hot and super spicy. My favorite part of this book is the team - both the Camels and the Beavers. Their locker room and practice banter is just chef's kiss. I would love to be part of their team. The found family and friendships are amazing. I cannot wait for Kennedy and Daylen's book next because they honestly were the reasons for all my laughs in this book. I already know their book is going to be hilarious.

Overall, this is a great read - perfect balance of romance, spice and plot. Now, I gotta download more of AK's book from her backlist.

Thank you Hambright PR for the eARC in exchange for my honest thoughts!

Ms. Landow does it again. A new series with characters her readers recognized from previous series. Sullivan "Sully" O'Shea is the star player for Philadelphia Beavers. A new women's basketball team owned by the one and only Reagan Daulton. Reagan is serious about giving women a platform to shine in sports. If you have read any of the books, you know that Sully was introduced in Bailey and Tanner's book. Tanner Montgomery is also Sully's manager. Sully is ready to continue making a name for herself in women's professional basketball. There is just one problem. Sully wants to stay far away from Vance McCaffrey, the star quarterback for the Philadelphia Camels.

Sully and Vance grew up together. In fact, Vance was Sully's brother's best friend. Things took a turn when Finn was killed while in the military and his girlfriend at the time gave birth to a baby that Vance claimed as his own. The town rallied around the O'Sheas and shunned Vance's family. Sully and Vance had not talked since the funeral six years ago. Vance's betrayal cut Sully deep. She could never forgive her childhood crush for what he did to her brother.

Readers get to meet all the new characters. It becomes obvious that Vance and Sully are going to be spending a lot of time together. This book will have readers all in their feelings. It had me almost in tears several times as the past was revealed. Sully knows that Vance is keeping secrets. She can't give into the feelings she has always had for him without knowing the truth.

Ya'll this new cast of characters will have you laughing out loud. They are just as outrageous as all the other characters in Ms. Landow's previous series. This book will grab readers and not let them go. Definitely ready for the next book in this explosive series. The possibility of pairings is phenomenal. I can't wait to read how other couples get together. Readers will definitely fall in love with Vance McCaffrey. He and Sully have always been and he is determined to make sure they will always be.

ARC Review

This was very much a book of two halves for me, I didn’t love the first half of the book and found at times there were so many side characters I got lost and they took over the story rather than us being focused on Vance and Sulley. When the second half hit though, I really fell into the book and found myself completely invested in Vance and Sulley’s story.

Both Vance and Sulley have been devastated by the death of Sulley’s brother Finn, who was also Vance’s best friend and at times this book was so hard to read, especially with the secret which was tearing the two families apart. I loved how Vance was always there for Sulley, whether she was aware of it or not and he never gave up on her, even when it would have been easier and less painful to walk away.

I loved that both Vance and Sulley are sport superstars and I am always going to be a sucker for him wearing her jersey. The spice was unexpectedly hot, I’m not sure what I was expecting but this was super hot and at times, exhibitionist and a little kinky but hey, I am totally here for it. Vance and Sulley’s chemistry was off the charts and I really liked the push and pull between them.

This is very much a romcom and I did laugh out loud and several points. At times, the humour was a little immature for me personally but humour is so subjective to each person and I did like that each of the group had their own humour and it really showed their personalities.

With all the side characters, there are obviously the group who will be featured in this series but with some of the couples from previous series’, I did feel a little like I was missing something and would have benefitted from reading this authors previous series to get up to date with the group. On saying this, I think the rest of the series is going to be really good and the next book has been set up perfectly throughout this book.

Thank you to AK and Hambright PR for this eARC in exchange for an honest review.

First of all, what even is Raunch-Com?? It’s this book! Also it’s my new favorite genre, hands down!

This is book one in the Fourth Quarter Fever series. It’s also the first time I’ve read one of Landow’s books. What a first impression!!!
This book had it all guys. Had it ALL. In one book I managed to bust a gut laughing, swoon and blush from the spice, then cry my eyes out as the characters worked through their shared grief. Throw in dual sports, the most hilarious side characters you’ll ever meet, and you have one amazing raunch-com.
Sulley is the beautiful golden girl with a heart to match. She’s brave, independent and faces a new start in the WNBA head on. But if you think her heart is big, Vance’s heart is gigantic. Stepping up and keeping his promise to his best friend. He never forgets about Sulley and has always tried to do right by Finn, even if it was from a distance. Sulley and Vance are pulled together. Their chemistry is magnetic. Despite the secrets and shared trauma, they can not resist each other. These two absolutely deserved their chance to be together.
I did get a little bit overwhelmed with all the names and characters that were mentioned. I have a feeling if I had previously read books from this author then it would be different.
Landow’s writing had me devouring this book. The pacing was perfect. She has a very unique way of taking something as heart breaking as grief, and blending it with heartfelt laughter.

I very much look forward to the next book in the series. There are also three other series by Landow that I have already added to my tbr.

Huge thank you to AK Landow and Hambright PR for the opportunity to read this ARC.

I absolutely adore this author & she knocks it out of the park with her books, I’m either dying laughing or fanning myself. My cheeks were definitely hurting after reading this one from smiling & giggling so much, I mean the red flag list alone had me laughing so hard. There was some hints of sadness when it came to Sully’s brother Finn who happened to be best friends with Vance basically like brothers since they grew up together, the trauma affected everyone & up until the Sully moved to Philly she hadn’t faced Vance for some time due to it. There were secrets Vance was hiding, but he wasn’t ready to share them but he also wasn’t willing to let Sully go because in the end she was his girl. The man definitely had to some graveling when it came to getting in her good graces, but with a monster like his who wouldn’t jump at the thought! Sully is an amazing professional basketball player & Vance is also an amazing professional football player, together they are one powerful team. There was some bumps along the way but when secrets were finally revealed it was like a wave of understanding of why Vance continued to do what he did all these years. Now let’s get to the fun part which was Vance in the bedroom & his dirty talk was to die for!! Also absolutely loved their friends it was the main reason I laughed so much cause their conversations were hilarious! Overall excellent book, I hundred percent recommend!

I don't think I have adequate words for this review. as much as this author loves her raunchy comedy this book was a lot more serious. lots. two hometown kids growing up in the heartland.
can I tell you that this book was a total shout out to Caitlyn Clark. do I want her to read this absofreakinglutley. yes I made that word up. cause this read is worthy of new words to explain the incredible read it is.
you will fall in love with both characters. you will fall head over heels for grungy Vance and gully sully.its just gonna happen. their story is a modern day fairy tale. two incredible athletes living their best life. as much as the past let them. until they decide it's now or never. you will love being part of this journey. you will love watching Sully's personality morph into just what this author needed to start this series. Vance truly falls first. but his emotions i felt from the first page.
I don't want to tell you the story because only this author can give these two characters justice. let's just say I am glad I did not have to live with this story in my head. it was hysterical and gut wrenching.
you have been warned this by far is one of my favorites. oh and there are lots of old friends who make an appearance in this book. the amazing talent of this author is to bring our favorites back.
