Avelyn Paige is the mischief-maker behind steamy dark romance, gritty mafia love stories, and high-octane motorcycle club tales that have blazed their way onto the Wall Street Journal and USA TODAY bestseller lists. She calls Indiana home, where she lives with her husband and five furry troublemakers who think they’re her editors.
When she’s not fighting the good fight in cancer research, Avelyn trades test tubes for plot twists and dives into worlds filled with danger, devotion, and deliciously bad decisions. She writes romance because it’s the one place where chaos and love can coexist, bullets can fly, hearts can heal, and everyone still gets the kind of ending worth fighting for.
After losing her dad in 2015, she turned heartbreak into creativity and never looked back. Now, she’s on a mission to prove that even the darkest hearts can find redemption, and that love—no matter how twisted—always leaves a mark worth remembering.
This book was just an uplifting Christmas time MC read. Two of the most opposite people find their way to each other. Brayden is VP for Heaven’s Rejects MC and Cece is a preacher’s daughter who is newly divorced. After they keep running into each other, we find their chemistry is off the charts and had me rooting for them the whole way through. This author always turns out some of the best books and this book was one of them.
This is Cece and Brayden’s story. Cece is looking for a refuge after a messy divorce, instead she finds herself caught up in gossiping, family duty, and an ex who is the mayor’s golden boy, who is parading his new girlfriend around town. Brayden rides into town to drop of toys, and he never leaves. Every which way Cece turns, Brayden is there. This is a well written easy to read story, with family, friendships, emotions, forced proximity, opposites attract, gossiping, humour, witty banter, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and fun, magical holiday romance. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Hogging the Holidays is the story of CeCe and Brayden, one filled with Christmas magic, family drama and an ex that takes gold on being douche of the year.
Cece is dealing with the aftermath of a messy divorce, which like most, put her through the ringer. Hoping for a little sanctuary, Cece heads to San Salona in hopes of a little peace for the holidays. Alas, she is met with nothing but family gossip and obligations and her pain in the bum ex and his new girlfriend parading around town. Life couldn't get any better. With everyone wanting something from her at all times, Cece has just about given up on the holiday season, until Brayden comes riding into town.
Brayden is the VP of the Heaven’s Rejects MC and he’s in town to drop the toys off for the families in need that the club has raised via the toy drive. Think Toys for Tots kinda thing. While in town, he hears nothing but gossip about Cece and her very new divorce, not that it matters to him much. However these two keep meeting, one interaction after another and their chemistry is off the charts. Maybe it's fate, maybe it's a little Christmas magic, but either way Brayden isn't going to let Cece get away.
Cece and Brayden’s story was a nice treat for the holidays. These two were so different, a preacher's daughter and a VP from a motorcycle club, but someone they just fit so well together. Brayden was the shield that Cece needed to finally grow, and Cece was the safe place that Brayden needed to find strength. Cece’s dad had me cursing, but thankfully he finally came to his senses and they were able to come together as a family and work through it. Overall, I enjoyed the book and I always look forward to what this author has coming up.

The Preacher's daughter and the biker. Two very different paths in life, but they find that they work. Especially after Bray shows Cece how to find herself and bring her real self to light.
Cece has moved back home after a divorce from the Mayor's son from her hometown. Knowing that she will be exposing herself to ridicule by the church women, from her father's church, and the towns people that has her ex-husband's family on a pedestal. When the church has trouble fulfilling it's promise of Christmas meals and gifts for so many in need, Cece finds that the most unexpected person can be a the ones to open your heart to.
I enjoyed this story and the characters are great! It has all of the holiday surprise, the perfect amount of suspense and the right amount of steam that I look for in a book like this. Cece's determination for bringing out her true self is great and it shows her strength. I look forward to more stories from Avelyn Paige to come.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is the story of Cece and Brayden. Cece has been though a messy divorce and is looking for refuge and picks San Salona. Instead of refuge she finds gossiping, family duty, and an ex that is parading his new girlfriend whenever he has the chance. Then Brayden show up in town to bring toys from a toy dive and never leaves town. Brayden seems to have a habit of appearing everywhere she is. It doesn't matter where she goes. Everyone seems to want something from her and the one who wants the most from her is Brayden. Will he get it and she finds her happily ever after in the most unexpected place. You have to read to find out. I really loved this story and the characters. These two couldn't have been more different from each other if they had tried. This is a really great holiday read.
Hogging the Holidays is Brayden and Cece’s entertaining and captivating story. This author is fairly new to me and I’m struggling understanding why because it didn’t take me long to become invested in this magical holiday romance. Brayden and Cece come from different worlds he is VP of his motorcycle club and she is newly divorced living with her preacher father……. But we all know we can’t always control what our hearts want and her heart wants Brayden. I loved watching this couple’s relationship grow even with the judgement from the congregation of the church and the journey for this couple felt real and believable. The characters are strong with depth and it’s a well written story that captivated me.
This was a great holiday read - Cece has to return to her hometown after divorcing the man she thought was going to be her forever. Instead the golden boy who happens to be the son of the mayor turns out to be a cheating scumbag who follows her back to San Salona with his new girlfriend. To keep herself busy and her mind off her problems, Cece helps her father out with the church's annual toy drive for local families in need. When the donations fall through, help comes from the most unlikely places.
I enjoyed watching Cece and Brayden get to know each other and learn to appreciate each others strengths. Between the local gossips, a MC family and her ex's family, Cece and Brayden definitely have their work cut out for them to make their relationship work.
I though this book was well-written and easy to read. It was a feel good read that was just right to read around the winter holiday.
Thank you to Chaotic Creatives for the advanced readers copy.
Christmas brings Cece and Brayden together, and their attraction instantly sizzles—turning downright steamy as the story unfolds. The emotional waves they ride hit hard, from desire to doubt to the pressure of judgment and the danger stalking them. The brotherhood steps in with laughter, loyalty, belonging, and unwavering protection.
Cece’s dad had me furious, but the eventual acceptance was absolutely worth celebrating. I loved the honesty and strength Cece and Brayden showed—in themselves, in each other, and in the future they were building. A fabulous blend of bikers, Christmas spirit, and heartfelt love.
After years of not seeing each other Brayden Cole VP of the Heaven's Rejects MC and the Preacher's daughter CeCe come together at Christmas to supply toys and food for needy families. Of course this isn't all they come together for. Cece's just came back into town and what better way to set this little community on fire with gossip than to set herself on fire with a biker. This is a steamy, emotional, feel good kinda story that'll keep you glued to the pages from beginning to end. It's very well written, relatable and sensitive topics covered covered beautifully. Loved every second of it!
A Christmas story ✔️ MC✔️ HEA ✔️ Anything Avelyn Page is an automatic add to TBR for me! I love love love everything that she writes! It’s even more of a plus for me that it was a Holiday story! This story follows Brayden and Cece. I love that Cece is a take no $hit woman and I love that Brayden sees her/wants her for exactly how she is not the “trophy wife” she once was. Oh and when the spice comes in it is 🥵. Be sure to check your trigger warnings as of course there are some but please please pick this up and read it asap!
Cece is from a small town where rumors spread like wildfire. She didn’t expect this to be her life- divorcing the mayor son because he serial cheated on her and now coming home and being the center of gossip. A shining light in her depressive state would be Brayden the VP of the Heaven’s Rejects MC. Brayden keeps coming around and helping Cece with the Toy and food drive. When Cece’s ex makes an unexpected appearance in town with his flavor of the week on his arm Braden goes into overdrive to protect Cece. Will Cece’s reputation be sullied by the bad biker?
I really loved Cece and how, with some support from Brayden, she became strong enough to take charge of her life, to be herself. Brayden was very protective and patient with Cece, and was willing to show his true self to her. They were a strong couple with a lot of chemistry, and I enjoyed them. The antics of the rest of the Heaven's Rejects added humor to this story. Cece's father's realization as to what his daughter had been going through was welcomed by the end. Well worth the read.
I received a copy through Chaotic Creative, and this is my unsolicited review.
A return home after a messy divorce brings Cece face to face with gossip, disapproval and repercussions from her influential ex's family. To mitigate the worst of the impact on the town's poorest, Brayden and his club intervene to help. There follows a delightful love story with a Christmas setting, judgemental locals, a woman finding herself, and a father learning that there is more to life than narrow views. This has been a seasonal, fun, and warm at heart book, where two hearts find each other at just the right time. Thoroughly enjoyable xxx
Brayden is the VP of his motorcycle club, and Cece is newly divorced and back under her preacher father’s roof. I feel that Paige tackled the judgment from church-goers and the preconceived notions surrounding bikers in a way that feels authentic. I liked that Cece’s emotional growth is well written, and her relationship with Brayden grows in a way that feels believable.
Thank you so much to Chaotic Creatives and Avelyn Paige for sending me the ARC!
Brayden Cole, VP for the Heaven’s Rejects and Cece Montgomery are at the centre of this emotional story.
When Brayden helps out in Cece’s hometown, he unexpectedly reconnects with his high-school crush, who has just returned after a messy divorce. As tensions rise and her ex reappears, Brayden’s loyalty and determination to protect Cece shine through, creating a powerful mix of family, protection, and growing love.
Cece has left a controlling marriage in which her husband cheated on her. After the divorce this plot picks up with her trying to start over in a small judgmental town where she meets Brayden. His connection to the local MC complicates the story but also adds a layer of excitement and interest. It was a fantastic story where the chemistry between Cece and Brayden was off-the-charts. I could not put this book down.
Cece was so downtrodden at the start of this, so it was great to see how things changed along the way and how those changes came in an unexpected person. It was also fun to see the town see these changes and hopefully change their minds too. It all started with Cece's dad, it seemed like once he really saw what was going on with his daughter and had his eyes opened, he championed these odd bikers in his own way. Nice to see how things ended and how happy Cece was with the choices she made.
Cece gets the happily after she deserves and Braydon get a future he didn't see himself having. Their story was emotional as truths are revealed and people's mind sets are changed. Braydon's brother's gave us laughter while being supportive and loyal. I really loved seeing her dad change his mind set about Bray and his brothers. This was a great read and I can't wait for more.
A beautifully captivating, intensely emotional and sinful delicious romance that made my heart swell. Brayden and Cece are perfect for each other. The patience, caring, protectiveness and loving way he took care of her was simply amazing. I enjoyed this charming and sweet adventure.
Loved that this book shows though adversity and dealing with people of different lifestyles can come together even in a religious setting to show that we all are not perfect and work together better. Her father is a minister and it was hard for him to understand her ex wasn't a good person and her biker boyfriend isn't a bad person.
This was my first read by this author and I absolutely loved everything about this book, I really adore an MC romance, and I loved this aspect of the story. I absolutely adored this character and definitely need to read other books by this author as soon as possible.
I absolutely love this book. It just keeps your interest from start to finish. I loved how Brayden was with CeCe. They just had an instant connection when they met again. But I gotta say there’s drama in this book but it’s good drama that keeps your attention. I highly recommend this book.
Braydon and CeCe are totally different worlds and yet as a couple they work well together. This is a fun read even with the judgement and ridicule of the church congregation and her father, but they stand strong together with loyalty, laughter, protection and the brotherhood behind them
Hogging The Holidays is part of the 25 Days of Christmas: Bikers & Mobsters Series.
Cece and Brayden connect through a toy drive and we see a deep and emotional connection with them. We do get some spiciness but I loved seeing these two with a more emotionally driven story.
Oh my goodness!! What a read! I loved everything about this! Cece is back home after life deals her a shit hand, only for it to follow her. Brayden? Oh my days! This guy! When he and Cece connect, god help (pardon the pun) anyone who tries to hurt her! Oh my heart!!
I loved this book! I adored Brayden and CeCe together. This is a very good romantic story. I started reading it and I could not stop turning the pages until I reached a very happy ending.
Enjoyable read. Liked the mc guys who were funny and yet there when needed. The church aspect was interesting and I wondered if things would get resolved with cece and her dad and age mc and reverend. Enjoyed the story.
This is only the 3rd book by Avelyn Paige that I've read (MMM & Reaper's Vow) & now I want everything from her backlist-especially the Heaven's Rejects MC! I really enjoyed this story!
