“The whole world wrote the two of us as scum… Boxing’s all we’ve got. All that work to climb out of the gutter… A…and now you’re telling me there is no tomorrow? Is the road back to yesterday really all that’s left?”

Genuine tears and shivers reading this volume. Without spoiling the awaited match, the buildup to the climax even to the resolution is just heartbreaking. Tragically beautifully written is all I can say about this volume. A real gut-wrenching end to the story’s arc and the start of something new with something we’re familiar with; Joe Yabuki starting from rock bottom.

What a volume!!! I didn't know just how great this book was going to be! I have enjoyed the pervious volumes, but this one delivered so much emotion! So much drama! So much.... WOW!!!! This book has every emotion and the art and story deliver. I don't know if it was a build up from previous volumes, but this one simply has everything you possibly need in it.

Wow, this was the most engaging volume so far! The story took turns that I did not see coming. Joe went through the most growth in this one. I kept coming back to find where it would go next!
