Nina Peanut and the Mystery of the Ghost Shoe

Rate this book
Perfect for fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, here is the second witty and humorous graphic novel in a series about a quirky girl’s antics as she navigates popularity, friendship, and family.

Nina Peanut’s life has just about calmed down since the big talent show of Nina Creative Genius, when suddenly she latches onto two new running for class president and ghost hunting! Based on—frankly sketchy—evidence, Nina is convinced that a shoe from a local museum is home to the ghost of a rich 19th century lady socialite! This goes over big with her classmates, so she’s got to prove that it’s a real haunting if she wants to win the class election. Only the conniving Megan Dunne (and Nina’s own "interesting" ideas) can stand in the way of victory!

Nina Peanut and the Mystery of the Ghost Shoe is for kids 8 to 12 years old who love a good joke and who like graphic novels about school and friends. Sarah Bowie's adorable, stylized art—simple, bright colors bringing to life her clever layouts and storytelling—is perfect for kids who are ready for their first longer graphic novel.
