Belle doesn’t see what the big deal is about the ocean. Its depths contain jellyfish, and crabs, and sharks, and… more jellyfish. But when her friends go on vacation she tags along, resolved to just sit on the beach and read. Except her friends are jerks.
Going off on her own, she meets a handsome stranger—and accidentally witnesses a crime. When she finds herself stranded in the middle of the ocean, she knows she’s done for.
Until the biggest jellyfish she’s ever seen stalks her in the water. To her surprise, it isn’t here to kill her, it’s here to claim her.
My Date With a Jellyfish is part of The Sentient Object Calendar Series, a shared series curated by some of your favorite off-the-wall Biblio Barbie, Dakota Cockaday, Holly Wilde, Luna Cantrip, Nicole Parker, Sylvia Morrow, Thea Masen, Unfortunate Reads, and Vera Valentine. It is meant for readers 18 and over who are ready to embrace a deeper experience with some unusual holidays.
Sapphic tentacle romance? Yes please! I wasn't sure where this was going with the jellyfish angle, but I loved it! Belle and Ti have such a sweet romance.
From the creator of My Date with the Water comes My Date with a Jellyfish!
This time, we follow Belle, who goes on vacation with friends and meets an attractive guy. He takes her to a yacht, but things take a wild turn when she witnesses something she wasn’t supposed to see—leading to her being abandoned in the ocean.
It’s a short story that gets straight to the point—funny, spicy, and packed with chapter titles you’ll love. Both FMCs are incredibly sweet, with instant chemistry that I absolutely adored.
Expect tentacles, a sexy jellyfish, and fated mates—all in one place!
My Date with a Jellyfish has got to be the cutest tentacle romance I've ever read! I'm so soft for Tiburonia and Belle, though I think I'd have a problem too if I didn't have access to any of my books anymore. Very relatable, Belle!
I'm super impressed she didn't panic when she first met Tiburonia. Drowning is something that terrifies me so I'd have been an absolute disaster if I was in her place. Then again, if I had a pretty tentacle lady waiting for me at the end of the journey.....maybe I could handle a little bit of panic 🤷♀️
Every book I've read in this series so far has been so much fun, and I'm so excited to read the others!
So quick and easy to get into straightaway! Belle goes on vacation and plans to just sit at the beach and read but when she witnesses something she shouldn't do she gets saved by the most unlikely source. The chemistry was instant between them and felt so right for Belle as no one has ever cared so much for her. I loved reading them together and the lengths Ti will go to make sure she's happy!
I love a sapphic romance and was pleasantly surprised to find this to be one. Almost all spice and bare-bones plot, this tentacle fueled fated-mates romance is less sentient object and more monster romance but this is in no way a complaint.
At just 41 pages, this pop of sapphic smut is the perfect amount of hot lady tentacles\mouth arms 😂
A fast and quick read a sweet and fast romance with fated mates and hea. Belle and Tiburonia is such a cute match and the connection between them is on point, a perfect watery read.
Quick paced, straight to the point, fated mates, sapphic, and tentacles of fun—UR delivers another stellar addition to the sentient/shifter world.
(Mild spoiler) A beach trip with ‘friends’ and a handsome fellow for lunch? He was the best guy around. What about the person he mafia tossed into the ocean? Murder? What murdahhhhh?
When the cute guy turns out to be a bad guy, Belle finds herself floating alone in the depths of the ocean. Have no fear, our tentacular sweetie rescues her, fills her with oxygen 😉, sweet fruit, and sweet love.
What a wild ride! Instantly pulls you in like the tide only to leave you drowning for more. An avid reader takes a chance on a meet cute only to catch herself on meet a murderer. After being tossed overboard, she encounters a tentacled goddess who offers her everything she's ever wanted. The only question I need answered is how to read ebooks in the ocean 🤣 Loved it!
"You know what won't sting you? Books. And you know who won't dump you? Book boyfriends."
This book is another of the Sentient Object Holiday Series with books written by many different authors.
I love reading about MCs that are also readers! The relatability is fantastic and it's always fun to see what kind of reader they are. The best part is when they aren't too keen on adventure until they're thrown into it. In this case, you could say Belle is literally thrown into it 😂
I had such a great time with Belle and her ocean adventure. The FF romance in this was so sweet and fun. The way Cassie describes and entices us with a giant jellyfish definitely wasn't on my bingo card, but I loved her!
After witnessing a murder on a yacht, she's thrown overboard and rescued by a jellyfish woman claiming their fated mates. Fun quick read. Sweet and sexy.
A fisting good time! Ok so what if Belle witnesses something she shouldn't and gets tossed overboard by a handsome criminal man? She ends up in the tentacles of the very hot jellyfish woman, Tiburonia. Things get wet and wild in this short story that is also very sweet. Unfortunate Reads always brings the wacky and wild and I am here for it.
