About the author

Mel Henry lives in a rural town in central Iowa not far from where she was born and raised. She shares her home with her husband of almost twenty years and a plethora of fur- and scaled-babies. Her three adult children mostly likely fled home in search of peace and quiet.

Mel's first love was books. Her mom read to her before she was even born and continued that tradition long afterward. She's read (or been read) thousands of books in her life and even now, has over three thousand of them on her TBR list. She was born reading, and she jokes that she'll also die reading.

Mel's an avid cook (sometimes by choice), seasoned traveler (always by choice), and a hardcore warrior against chronic Lyme disease (definitely not by choice). She loves Netflix marathons, thunderstorms, and good tea. As a certified introvert, she doesn't do much socially, but enjoys concerts, live theater, and the occasional visit to a book bash.

She's got several projects in the works, but is easily distracted, so when the next book will be released is as much a surprise to her as it is to you. But your patience will be well-rewarded, no doubt.
