In the explosive finale, Jury’s world is flipped upside down as long-buried family secrets come to light. Betrayal runs deep, and the people she once called family prove to be her biggest opps. With the truth about her past unraveling, Jury is forced to accept that she was never meant to thrive in this game, only a pawn moved across the board.
Tech has always been her safe place, but as the war between families intensifies, even his love might not be enough to shield her from the chaos. Old enemies resurface, unexpected alliances are forged, and blood debts must be paid. In the final installment of this African American Urban Romance, loyalty is a luxury. Trust is a weapon. And love? That might just be the most dangerous game of all.
An amazing finale to this series. I was completely invested and boy did I laugh and go through the motions. Julius, Jr., and Mocha really wasn't shit! Even though Quinten came through in a clutch, I had hopes for him but he was a foul as his old pappy! Tech and Jury and Vez and Quori were 10 toes down for each other and they were definitely locked in. I just can't get over the scam and damage Julius did to Jury's family...that was real foul. Then I really need to know why they had Jr laid up in that coffin like that??💀💀 Beyond the shootouts, rescues, and bull, Tech,Jury, Vez, and Quori built a whole family with Ms. Kim, Ms. Marcia, they're new siblings, and even the soon to be ex stepmom. I loved this for all involved because the new addition would definitely know love, loyalty and laughter. Happy Reading Y'all!💋
Brilliant. An easy 5 star review. I loved how she wrapped up the story with no loose ends. I loved the comical moments like the birdman hand rub 🤣🤣🤣I loved the sentimental moments with Vez' mom with the chemo scenes. I like how justice was served. I loved the romantic scenes and the spicy scenes 🥵 It was well-written, it flowed and it captured my attention from the first page to the last! I was sad to see it end. But I loved all of these characters! Highly recommend!
I enjoyed this series I was so glad that Jury found her real family, I knew something wasn’t right with junior. Quincy was dead wrong for letting his father decide who he should have children with. Great Read.
Such a great ending! I’m really not hard to please when it’s so many twists, turns and secrets. The amount of things both of the couples went through was 🥹 Read it.
4/5 ⭐️ — The chemistry between Tech and Jury & Quori and Tez was unmatched. This story kept my attention from start to finish. Everyone received the karma they deserved.
A three cus it did have my heart thumping intially but it’s really maybe a 2.5. Yes all your questions will be answered by the end but I personally didn’t feel like it was all well executed. The pacing was horrendous time was flying by lol like was this a month,2months or what either way it was a lot of fast moving and predictable yet unexplained action.
I predicted off rip that Jury’s mother was killed by mocha, I even predicted that something was really amiss with the dad. Now the fact that she ain’t belong to neither of them weirdos was I guess a shock but in the same breath the scenario lacked depth. Like we never saw or heard about her parents treatment of her at all like the loyalty she felt to her family was off cus they just didn’t seem that great from book one. Like sorry the fact that she’s a lawyer made every situation rage inducing. Stop giving the FMC bossed up jobs that require intelligence, grit and logic for them to just be dummies like complete and total dummies. Happy Jury and Tech made it work but yeah it was kinda weak. Jury not having nothing going for herself in the defense department was crazy to me cus like even as a lawyer baby you deal with potential crazies daily and you don’t keep nothing on you? You not good with knives but all of a sudden you a killing machine? Like sorry it was farfetched.
Vez and ole girl was cool too and very likable but again the resolutions weren’t explained well enough to feel like this was a complete story. Like why couldn’t that one man leave her alone ? Why was he obsessed? Like what was his end goal? He was pressed for power but lacked the ability to weld it right and his dad just allowed that? Like I’m very confused and lost cus how you get out a coma and get to plotting lmao like yes it’s fiction but this preposterous. Then the whole Benoit family just disappeared never to be seen again.
The daddy being raggedy was annoying too because we never got the point of it he was sheisty and trifling just cus… like where was it supposed to go what was the reader supposed to get from it? Overall it was a lot of stuff included that didn’t add to or help improve the story. It all felt rushed and sloppily put together if I’m being honest. I didn’t need 500 pages but we did need better explanations or breakdowns of scenarios cus yeah it was a mess and forcefully wrapped up with tissue paper instead of a nice lil package. There author is talented but I think they need more arc readers or editors who ask questions because a lot more could be improved with someone asking BUT WHY? Along the way forreal.

low rating because there was just too much that didn’t make a lick of sense to me.
Why did her ‘dad’ kill her bio father to rush in and sign a birth certificate for her when she was no relation to him, especially after her real mom was killed, why keep her?
Why did her brother who she said was always protective and a great brother turn on her with zero remorse, I get he had gambling debt, but he didn’t feel anything? To the point of saying she had to keep marrying men in that family if anything happened to them, just made no sense for him to change so drastically towards her.
As a lawyer why was she crying over a contract she didn’t even sign and wouldn’t hold up in any court. I’ll allow the initial marriage contract since it’s already a common book trope, but this contract was so far over that line and AGAIN she wasn’t even the one that signed it. How would a lawyer not understand that.
Also the family was just fine after two leaders were killed because of one girl, Tech said he would make sure they couldn’t fight back but this book was meant to be based in a number of families ruling so theres no council, no one that deals with things when it goes this wrong, bodies are dropping everywhere and leaders are being murdered at an alarming rate and theres no higher power, no coming together of the families to end it just nothing? If we have to believe in how far reaching the marriage contract is we need something else to show us that they don’t operate via usual rules because they have their own society in a sense, but no, everyones rouge.
jury made me feel like she had to be delusional because she said her family were great and she had all this loyalty towards them, but what we saw was the opposite, her brother was not redeemable in any aspect of his life, he even had the gambling issues as a young teen at the same time i felt like quori was a bad friend, when jury’s brother sold her off the first time despite her telling her friend what was happening to her, her seeing how she was being treated she still lied to tech and said jury was fine. She was apparently so upset that jury might not want anything to do with her after vez shot jnr in the arm and leg and tossed him in the water but dint once try to reach out to her.
what the author felt about her characters differed from the characters she actually wrote

Whew, let me tell you something about Passenger Princess 2 by Lakia... this book picked up the baton from book one and SPRINTED to the finish line! From the very first page, it was drama, heat, and ride-or-die energy in full effect.
So boom—we jump right back into the chaos. Shootouts, kidnappings, family betrayal, and these men? Tech and Travez came in SWINGING behind their women. I mean, real ten toes down, "I will risk it all for you" type of love. That protector energy? On ten. And bestie, the way Jury and Quori had NEVER experienced that kind of love before? Whew. They didn’t even know how to fully love themselves until these men came in showing them what softness, safety, and loyalty looked like.
Jury finds herself kidnapped tryna help the very “family” that never deserved her. And the secrets that come out? Bombshell after bombshell. I’m talking jaw-on-the-floor reveals that made me want to throw the whole bloodline away. Meanwhile, Quori and Travez are out here fighting a whole crime family war while STILL making time to fall in love. That balance of chaos and care? Lakia did THAT.
Let’s talk growth. These characters have been THROUGH it, and by the end? Whew. Watching them choose each other, build their own tribe, and walk away from toxic family ties? That’s real love. Found family at its finest.
And don’t even get me started on the spice. Lakia sprinkled it in just right. Sexy, steamy, but still grounded in emotional connection. And the BDE from both Tech and Travez?? THROUGH THE ROOF. These men weren’t just fine—they were providers, protectors, and peace. The way they adored their women? Swoon-worthy.
Book 2 wrapped everything up in a way that felt earned. Satisfying. Whole. You get your answers, your closure, and a HEA that feels soft, spicy, and sacred.
Five outta five stars. A standout duet that I’ll be thinking about for a minute. If you love high-stakes romance, found family, and unshakeable Black love? This one’s for you.
Lakia, what a great read. When I tell you that dang gone Vez was in a lane all by himself. I loved the relationship between Tech and Vez. The love the best friends had for each other was just beautiful to me. Jury went through so much but her strength Quori had her own things going on but her loyalty was so good. Lakia, thank you for always giving us good stuff. I wasn't expecting the twist and turns but baby they were so goodt. I love your pen you always have us having an ah ha moment. This read had me so hot. I just wanted to scream. Everyone got their just karma. Most importantly they got well deserved peace.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Tech was driving me up the wall my goodness. Let that man help you and ease up was my initial thought until I made it to the end lol. Vez and Tech had that BDE and come see about me energy. I loved their loyalty to their loved ones. The finale answered every question from book one.
The amount of lies and betrayal in this book gave me whiplash. Jury was a strong woman because whewwww life was coming at her full blast. Was I the only one rooting for Tech and Quori’s father? I’m happy they had decrement because he was selfish. I love happy endings so this was perfect to me. I enjoyed watching the ladies develop into who they really wanted to be.
I enjoyed reading this series in the lives of Tech, Jury, Vez, and Quori. Tech had Jury from day one and went to war with anyone who tried to come against him and Jury being together. It’s mad crazy how Julius wasn’t Jury’s real father and how it was Mocha who unalived Fallon, Jury’s mother. Vez knew that Quori was going to be his forever so he played no games with Junior at all when it came to her. I really thought Quinton was going to do right by Tech and Quori but I lost all hope when Cory stepped out on the scene. I’m glad that Tech, Quori, Cory, Lil Q, and Quincy formed siblings bonds despite them not dealing with Quinton.
Lakia gurl! My heart is so full. This was the finale I needed. My anxiety was sky high at the beginning of this book. I needed Tech to get out his feeling. I needed him to save his woman. Omg! The amount of twists and turns this book has will definitely get you seasick IYKYK! There was a permanent smile on my face for the last few chapters of the book. I love love and love was definitely shared. Love and loyalty created a whole little family that I HOPE we get an update on later on down the line *wink wink*
Vez and Tech…. BDE! They were pulling up with no questions asked. The amount of lies, secrets, and betrayal that came out was ridiculous! Jury…. mannnn the hand she was dealt due to control, just sad and undeserving! Tech and Quori’s father- now here I was rooting for you! Tech intuition was spot on throughout this series. I LOVED Vez and Quori’s friendship to relationship. In the end, those who needed to be dealt with… was handled VERY well!
Tech and Vez played no games when it came to the women they loved! I enjoyed none family dynamics and the demise not Junior and the Collins family, they were truly using Jury! Quentin was a coward, but I was glad that all of his kids were able not build a relationship! Vez mama was so sweet and I love how he loved on her, but he also knew when to let Quori take the lead in regards to.his mothers health! Loves the ending!
This was a great ending to a great series. This book had so many plots and twists it had me in the edge if my seat. Tech and he's are some real ones. The stand in they shit period. I loved how Qori was there for bed mom no questions asked. Both of their stories showed how with the right one in your corner you can win. Both girls went through he'll but the men stepped for them protecting them.
This finale delivered from page one! I was locked in the entire time—one chapter had me grinning, the next had me on edge. Quinten might’ve come through a few times, but in the end, he was just as grimy as his father. The twists, the heat, the chaos—it never let up. When the dust settled, Tech, Jury, Vez, and Quori created something bigger than all the drama—a family circle with Ms. Kim and Ms. Marcia that brought heart, loyalty, and plenty of love to close out the story.
Talk about action on top of Action! Vez was with all the s h i t s lol and the way he stepped up for Quori and loved & stood up for his Mom! So sexy!!!! Tech stood on big business about Jury and can we talk about her Villan era? This book was sexy and action packed and the twists were real deep!
It’s crazy how all the lies, betrayal and truth came out. The Collins family was truly diabolical. And honey Quinten was a true trifling sperm donor smh. But I loved how Vez and Tech held it down for they ladies. Love and loyalty conquered in the end, so I’m happy for them. Good series Lakota 💕
This was one entertaining story from the beginning to the end. You spared nothing when it came to the suspense, deception and the love scenes was smoking.
I appreciated when you righted all the wrongs that was done to the MCs in the story.
What an epic finale! Tech and Vez were absolutely on fire, going all out for their women! I was totally captivated by the journey of these four couples. Jury’s unexpected actions blew me away, and I loved every moment of it! Overall, the author truly nailed it with the plot—so well written and engaging!
The Collins family? Trash! Every single one of them! Kudos to my girl Jury! Once the light was on, it shined bright. She was not here for the shits. I’m happy she got her HEA. I still love Vez real bad, he is so unserious and feel about those bridges. Now Big Shit & Fine Shit can live HEA. Quentin almost had me fooled.
This finale was everything I needed! To see both couples and surrounding relationships evolve was just… EVERYTHING! I am telling you guys, this is a for sure ride you want to take! Lakia did not disappoint with this finale. Whew!
Man Tech was the man!!! Came home from prison with all the smoke. He didn't play about Jury at all. Blow the whole world up was his motto lol. I freaking loved this series. Side characters were bomb too. Love love loved it Great Job
Loved the way Tech moved about Jury and Vez and Quori!!! Love their bonds and how you tied everything up! I loved the ending even more. I wouldn’t mind seeing these CHARACTERS AGAIN
This was a beautiful read! Loved the series! Jury and Tech as well as Quori and Vez were perfect together. Jury's parents we e foul and everyone got their karma for all the wrong they did! Loved it!
Tech deserved all the good things and so did Jury. To endure all they individually went through and still be open to love was amazing. Same for Quori and Tez, best read in a while.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️|🌶️🌶️🌶️ This story was good! I enjoyed how everything unraveled and the surprise moments throughout. I love how the main characters got their lick back! The main couples got their HEA and I really liked the ending! 💖
