We had to read this book for school, and I thought it was an interesting read. It definitely had me examining my communication efforts and realize (although I was already pretty aware) how passive aggressive or just aggressive I can be. I thought the suggestions were helpful but I would have liked more because while I know my flaws I’m still not quite sure how to increase the caring part to go along with my assertiveness. Hoping we can workshop some more examples at school this year!

Amazing. Every human should read it. It’s already given me more confidence at work about sticking up for myself, but I also totally failed one interaction this week so it’s a learning process.

I really liked part 4, especially chapters 16-17, super practical and easy to visualize
