not my favorite
If you’re inspired by lactating and breeding kinks, you’ll enjoy this more than I did. This final book in the trilogy had much less erotic variety and spent way too much time on breastfeeding for me.
I finished the book mostly because of the relationship with Matty evolving.

If you haven’t yet, and you’re in the mood for something deliciously spicy and fun, you need to read these books! The last book in the Clarendon Playmates Kink series really hit the spot. It was my first time reading a lactation kink, and I was screaming. Add in the discovery of bi-awakening, and I was rooting so hard for Rosie, James, and Matty.
I adore James, but I’m completely obsessed with Matty. I love a good Daddy kink and a jealous man who struggled to come to terms with Rosie’s work position. That added more depth to his character.
I also didn’t expect to see some of my favorite side characters pop up again in the book that were spread out throughout the series, which was such a fun surprise. This is the kind of series you don’t need to think too hard about just sit back and enjoy the ride!

MRS.SKYE!!! This right here, is the sexiest, filthiest smutty goodness I have ever read. The 3rd Book following Rosie’s journey and my oh my what an ending. I adored reading Rosie’s self discovery and her dynamic changes in her relationships. I love her commitment on helping others explore their kinks in a supportive and healthy way. I learned so many new kinks through Ruby’s writing and loved the learning journey. The way Ruby writes positive focused Kink is so refreshing and enjoyable. And did i ever think id shed a tear reading kink but i did when Tom popped back up, we need more Tom!!! Ok I need more now, please & thank you.

What begins as an experimental proposal quickly blossoms into a full-blown throuple, and honestly? It’s beautiful. Their chemistry is explosive—equal parts lust and love—but what makes it sing is the genuine friendship underneath. They laugh together, wine and dine, spend time with family and kids… it’s wholesome and spicy all at once.
The tension really ramps up when Matty learns about Rosie’s role as a playmate. The jealousy and angst hit hard, and I was convinced it would break them apart. Rosie’s focus on Matty’s feelings sometimes pulled her away from the empowering allure of the club, and I did miss the detailed playmate sequences that made earlier books so bold. Still, the emotional honesty gave the story a raw edge that worked.
One area that felt a little tame was the throuple’s revelation to their families. Given the reality of how unconventional relationships are often received, I expected more questions, objections, or even pushback. That extra layer of familial tension could have added depth and realism to the story, and I found myself wishing Ruby had leaned into that conflict more.
Sophie and Sandy—absolute hype queens—were a delight whenever they appeared. I only wish we got more of them, because their support for Rosie is golden.
And that ending? Touching, satisfying, and a perfect way to tie the series together. Seeing familiar clients from the earlier books and how their journeys with Rosie shaped them was such a rewarding payoff.

Book 3 (of 3+). This brings Rosie's story to an end, the next book will have a different FMC. My rating is actually 4.5, rounded up. 4 stars would have felt too stingey but I didn't enjoy this nearly as much as Books 1 and 2. Mostly due to it focusing more on Rosie's home life and personal relationships. Whilst I liked the dynamic Matty adds to the team, I preferred her work assignments in the previous books to those in The Secret Proposal.
Setting aside everything about the story itself, I feel genuinely excited about this author. I like spicy books but so often they become repetitive and formulaic, particularly when following the same MCs over a trilogy. For me to have inhaled these 3 books in under a week but to have never felt bored is a true testament to the originality of the content and the creativity of the author. Especially considering the sheer volume of the smut! This is, ultimately, why I rounded my rating up, rather than down. I also kind of love supporting Aussies (oi, oi, oi).
My only criticism (and it truly didn't detract too much) is that Ruby needs to find a good proofreader. The typos in this series are pretty bad and it takes the shine off, just a fraction. It didn't stop me from giving all 3 books 5 stars but it was a tiny distraction that could be easily fixed.

Debo decir que este libro me decepcionó un poco y creo que es más por mi expectativas que por el libro en si.
No se que decir ni sentir acerca de Matty y sus celos. Porque si esto fuera la vida real, entendiera completamente sus sentimientos y la decisión de Rosie de priorizar a su familia. Pero en este libro me frustró, pues yo quería seguir viendo hacia donde iba Rosy.
Otra cosa que me pareció inconclusa y mal trabajada fue el poco espacio que le dieron a los kinks de los clientes. Esperaba ver así sea una pequeña variación en alguno de los demás días en vez de solo “los siguientes días fueron iguales”. Sobre todo con el cliente 3.
La escena del epílogo estuvo buena y el cliente 3 fue el mejor en mi opinión.

Matty!!! I knew I’d love him and this book definitely made it so! He’s a giant softy with a heart of gold and a serious bit of mischief!
I love the evolution of Rosie’s personal life in this final book. We see her and James live out their best life and make their family truly their own!
Roxy’s side - the secret proposal was wild! We don’t kink shame around here, just so we’re clear. A lactation kink is, interesting and Ruby shows us four really different view points on this particular kink. Hucow is not my thing but it’s something alright.

Sadly this was my least favourite of the 3. I found myself skimming an awful lot. There was an awful lot of repetition if you take the jobs out of it. Every scene was Matty being jealous & flexing his hands and James wanking over it. I'm also sad we had to do the pregnancy trope and the FMC has to give up things she loves to have a child. Dull and overdone, I also hate the pregnancy trope so that didn't help matters. This definitely could have been a lot better. Also make sure you like the lactation kink before reading this because thats all that happens.

Series review! These books were SO good! I can’t believe they aren’t more popular?! Okay the plot throughout is basically just smut but it really is top tier. These books were super fun, so interesting and enjoyable. I really wanted her to end up with all of her clients, I got very attached to them and felt her heartbreak as she left each one. I won’t spoil the ending but was surprised it ended how it did, however this felt realistic and a nice round up for the series. Super enjoyable and addictive. 4 stars!

This book felt cozier than the others because it dealt more deeply with familial things. Minus week 3 of the secret proposal. I think my jaw was on the floor for the entirety of week 3!
But week 4 Member…yes please.
I looooved having more Matty. Matty was everything. Listen we love James over here as well, he’s amazing and the OG, but there’s something about Matty that speaks to me.
I’m excited to read the other novellas and spinoffs though!

2.5 ⭐️ I love the concept of the series. I loved the first and most of the second but I struggled with this one. The writing style, the spice, all perfect - and I love the inclusivity of all the kinks, absolute no kink shaming here but it was a tough read for me as both lactation and breeding are absolutely not it for me.

I didn’t like this one as much but I think that’s because of the level of kinks just weren’t my thing. The lactation definitely wasn’t for me. Her being in a throuple worked for me. I am excited to hear Sophie’s story (who worked with her at the gold club) though I fear it may mirror Santa Baby pretty heavily. Eh. We’ll see.

Book 3 sees Rosie continue on her journey as a Clarendon Playmate though after the escapades with Matty in Book 2, her home life takes centre stage. James & her contemplate a different dynamic, all with a new & ‘very Rosie kink’ job on the cards.
Ooooooh!! It’s absolutely delicious!! The whole plot is quite intense as focuses on the intimacy & passion that James, Rosie & Matty have built. The decisions they then make for their future & the ultimate HEA brings the trilogy together beautifully!!

This is the end of Rosie’s story as the next one in the series is a different FMC.
Although it’s not my favourite in the series I did love James and Mattys chemistry. I would love to see Matty get his own spin off.
Loved seeing them develop as a throple.

Good ending to the series! Wasn’t my favorite book out of the 3 but I loved seeing how Rosie’s, James, and Matty’s relationship grew! They’re such a hot throuple! I wasn’t a fan of the breastfeeding kink but to each their own. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ If you want a good smutty book then you need to pick up this series!
