Shame and guilt cause so many spiraling issues. This book addresses them head-on according to biblical principles. Own up to the reality, accept a guilty sentence if it applies, acknowledge the emotional impact, then accept God's forgiveness and restoration provisions.

The book jumps around in its timeline to cover topics appropriate for each chapter, but it all comes together in the end. The transparency of the difficult stories reveals the struggles and triumphs in an authentic and relatable way that help me with my own guilt and shame issues (even though they are different than the author's).

This author does an amazing job of being clear, vulnerable, honest and then brings the reader in each chapter to truth, healing, scripture and answers in the Bible.
In reading the book, each chapter impacted me with the release we can have from guilt, shame and bondage we carry with us from so many things in life.
I recommend this book and found it valuable in my own life.

This book weaves together Dawn's experiences in life with the wisdom received from God to apply it in our own lives. She ends each chapter with some gut checks to see how you are doing in giving this area of life over to God.
