The conclusion was great and the final battle had lots of high drama, but to road to get there is long. There were definitely places where I felt like conflicts could have been condensed and carried a heavier impact. still a fun series to read.
Long Live the King was such a satisfying conclusion, and I absolutely loved getting multiple POVs—five of them! It made the story feel rich and immersive. Jann and Diadre’s story continues to be my favorite ❤️ and every moment with them just reinforced why. Yilan took a while to grow on me throughout the series, but she finally got the character arc she needed in this book, and Melek played a huge role in that growth. Gall and Izzy went through so much that parts of their journey genuinely hurt to read, which just made their outcome even more rewarding. Every character got the happily ever after they deserved, and it wrapped the series up beautifully. I highly recommend this series!
