We dive in right where Hollow Hellion left off.
This time, we follow Wrath.. one of our Hollow boys 🤤 and Arabella .. Noir’s sister, and her descent into the twisted heart of Oddity.


(Noir and Hell are not here for most of the story! Hell takes Noir on a “vacation” of sorts 🤭 )



Arabella’s transformation from haunted survivor to defiant, unyielding chaos was delicious to read.
Her unraveling is messy, raw, and magnetic.
And watching her fall into Wrath’s depravity? 🧑‍🍳 💋

💀 The Characters 💀

Wrath:
A name that says it all.
This man isn’t just dark… he’s void-level black… PITCH BLACK
He’s selective mute, but when he speaks? You can bet I hung on to his EVERY WORD 😭
The poetry, the writing on Arabellas body, the way he weaves his words to mean so much more than the simple “I love you” had me wrecked!

He’s obsessive, psychotic, and unhinged, disturbed and absolutely deranged! And I absolutely LOVE him 😂 I shouldn’t but i absolutely do! 😍

Arabella:
Is an absolute Hell cat in her own right!
She’s strong. Smart. Traumatised but unbroken.
She doesn’t just survive Wrath she matches him! Goes toe to toe with the devil himself and does it all with a smile, teeth and claws bared and a Fuck you to go with it!
She’s fire in female form.


✨ The spice ✨

You have NEVER read spice like this before.
This is OFF THE CHARTS

Wrath is constantly battling the urge to kill Arabella and then f**k her corpse. Yes… that’s what I said…
Yes, really.

That’s the level of unhinged we’re talking here 🤭
The only thing stopping him is the fact that he wants her “4eva.” She’s his little corpse, his reason for living, breathing, nothing else matters but her.

The obsession is the only thing keeping her alive and Jodie has somehow managed to write this in the most romantic and deranged way… my mind cannot comprehend how she pulled this off but believe me she did!

There’s one particular scene that I still haven’t recovered from.

It involves Wrath’s fist, a hell of a lot of chains, and a hook… and… let me tell you I absolutely did have to go back and reread that chapter to make sure I actually read what I thought I read. 🙈🙈

It was vile, it was graphic, and it was utterly brilliant.

This book is a descent into madness, the depraved, the deranged and unholy and I loved every second of it.
It doesn’t let you breathe. It doesn’t offer redemption.
It’s chaos, obsession, violence, lust all wrapped in chains and barbed wire (IYKYK)
This is the kind of story that haunts you.
The kind that makes you stare at your wall, blinking, wondering if you just read what you think you just read 😂🖤

Would I recommend it?
You can bet your arse I would.
If you like your romance… the pitch black kind, bloody, broken, and batshit this one’s for you.

Ok I have so much to say that I have to press the spoiler. If you are here and reading you know this has all the spoilers you can think of, no complaints accepted.

I drawn the line on fisting, heavy LARGE chains on assholes, barbed wires around body, neck, wrists and ankles. HOOKS on assholes and nearly death situations…… I am sorry but this is not erotic, sexy or pleasurable to me. I like the breath play, primal play and pain from a sadistic MMC up to a limit. I like when the MMC than treats the woman like she is the most beautiful treasure thing ever. I am sorry but I don’t find hot when a guy say I am going to destroy your holes and he ACTUALLY does it with punching fists and all the other things I mentioned above. The images in my mind were horrific, I literally could only imagine bruises, cuts, blood and enlarged destroyed intimate body parts. If that’s some people cup of tea it’s fine, if that gets some people going, whatever. I’m not here to judge but I am here to say that this kind of spice IT IS NOT FOR ME! Another thing that it’s not for me it’s the sharing thing, in some books I even find hot depending on how it’s described. But I am here for the extra possessive guy who means when they say “you are mine”, the guy that wouldn’t allow anyone to even look at their woman let alone touch them. And I found out here that when the suggestion comes from the woman I am also enraged because how can you tell me you love your man and ask him to have sex with someone else? Listen I know this is a big kink and many people are into the swing and multiple partners, I am just not one of them. I get second hand jealousy and infuriates me. So the spice in this book made me want to throw up, I got nauseous for real and could not find anything sexy or pleasant about it. This type of spice is NOT for me at all. And that’s the reason this book is 4⭐️ because despite the fact that I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the story and their love, the spice is such a big part that I can’t rate it higher.
Now that o rant enough I am going to say that I was soooooo conflicted during the entire book because I wanted to dnf due to the gory violent and brutal smut but at the same time I didn’t want to dnf because I was loving . Despite the fact that Wrath is all of this sadistic fuck he also manage to be cute and a fucking dark devil poet.
He is selective mute so he only speaks to Hell and Soul and rarely… when you think Hell was insane, Wrath came and said “hold my beer” ! But I loved him and if the spice was different this book would be an easy 5⭐️ ……. He writes on her, he writes beautiful /horrific things. Maybe I am the crazy one because this is my first time reading dark horror romance, because all I see are 5⭐️ for this book with stellar reviews loving SPECIFICALLY the smut… and I am here like “Humm…?” “What….?” “How….?”
I also don’t like that it wasn’t a big fight in the end with the shadows and all wanted to see Hell and Soul in action again but they are barely in the book.
But then there is Arabella aka Aurelia and I also loved her. She’s a baddie and she can handle Wrath even thought she shouldn’t . In my mind all I saw was an extremely broken, bruised, cut, flaccid girl walking around, I swear I could picture anything else……
The story is great but amongst the things I hated is : “Why is it that WRATH was able to fuck Blush without even thinking about killing her and losing control when this is LITERALLY the plot of the whole book?” So he is suddenly “cured” just for the sake of the scene? STUPID AF ! Also HOW THE FUCK THE BIG BAD WRATH ALLOWED VALLEN TO JUST WALK FREE? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK? THAT ENRAGED ME TO NO END!!!!!!! HOW THERE WAS NO PUNISHMENT FOR THE MAN THAT CREATED THE CHAOS AND HOW IT WASNT THROUGH WRATH’S HANDS AND HOW IT WASNT EVEN MENTIONED TO US ABOUT VALLEN ???????? They were just happily ever after and Vallen wasn’t even mention……. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡This is a major plot disaster for me. I hated !
So there you go, I loved but hated and that’s that.
I’ll read Soul’s book thought ….. hahahaahhaah ! I have too.

I’ve had a connection with WRATH since the first sentence he was mentioned in Hollow Hellion. And won’t lie, was low key nervous about this book but also so excited.

Of course the hype for this book was en par! The wait long, the anticipation built to a crescendo that needed to fall and boy! Did it do that? Yes, yes it did 🤭

We knew Wrath would be a psychotic, sociopath, we wanted the explanation as to why and guys…we get it. It all comes together, his past built into this story to ensure we know mostly what makes him tick. His audaciousness is beyond what we imagined, he has our breaths held, our hearts ceasing for a minute before his whole being crashes into us.

Aurelia, is a force to be reckoned with, her capacity of inner strength is a beacon in the dark leading her to seek vengeance on the men who moulded her into the woman she grew into. She is not a pushover by no means, however, Wrath has taken it upon himself to break her without considering she is already on the other side, now…now she relishes the satisfaction of his torment upon her body and soul, welcoming his joining their darkness together.

See how, I didn’t give you any spoilers just tempting you to read it. Honestly, if it were a rubbish read, I would tell you but this followed on from Hollow Hellion brilliantly, the interspersing of characters and stories was fantastic. Jodie’s writing just grabs you by your head, shakes it a little then spits it out all shook up! The visuals are what ensures your own imagination is encapsulated into the whole story. The twists and turns she integrates keeps your mind working and wondering where she is going next.

I can’t wait for Hollow Soul and hopefully, answers to questions I have.

Where to start with this one.
Anyone who reads my reviews will likely say, "she always says that about Jodie's books," but hear me out ...

Hollow Wrath has to be thee absolute BEST book! No, I'm not exaggerating. This book is absolutely stuffed (pun intended) with more than you can possibly imagine.

I was eagerly waiting to return to Oddity - sort of aware of what to expect, but Jodie surpassed everything i could've imagined.
It's always been Jodies realism and deep-rooted emotional writing that proves her books will hit the mark, but Hollow Wrath is something else entirely.

Jodie dug deep with this, and it's fully apparent on every page just how much she's evolved with her writing. From the plot, the characters, the dialogue, the spice! Oh boy, the spice! How she can produce such epic, original spice with every release blows me away (and kind of scares me lol - she unlocks questionable sides of me lol)

The dynamic between Wrath and Aurelia is outstanding.

Despite Wrath being mute, the carefully constructed communication Jodie produced was absolutely captivating and very poetic - there's no question you will absolutely love him.
Aurelia, what a woman! She's so empowered, she doesn't need anyone to fix her, she doesnt need or want anyone to "help her", she's strong, resilient, inspirational and an absolute force - much like the way i see Jodie. I have such a profound admiration for Aurelia, and that's absolutely down to Jodie's portrayal of the character that she's created.

Make no mistake Hollow Wrath is darker than Hollow Hellion. Was i covering my mouth and clenching TIGHT on several occasions? Absolutely, this book was so eerie and tense that I held myself tight for most of it - billing Jodie for the massage, don't worry 🤣. The way her writing transports you, to make you feel like you are there, actually in the book never fails to affect me.

There's so much in this book, and I STRONGLY advise to familiarise yourself with the content. If you choose to ignore the well detailed ACCURATE content warnings and overlook Jodie's personal message at the beginning of the book, that's on you! This book is nothing short of exceptional and dare I say the best she's written to date.

Jodie, you did it! AGAIN... and I couldn't be more proud of you!

Yes 🙌🏻 😆I ate this book up!! This book really did suck my little black heart 🖤 in from the very beginning !! Loved everything about it!!

“Hollow Wrath “ is Book 2 of the Hollows Trilogy and I advise you read book 1 “Hollow Hellion “ to get the full twisted and unhinged experience of being apart of the “Oddity Carnival & Cirque”

Jodie’s writing is just brilliant, it takes you by the throat and doesn’t let go! The horrific visuals and these disturbing characters really make you question your morals but you just can’t look away!! There’s so many twists and revelations.
And even though some of these characters are psychotic monsters , you end up having empathy for them.

MMC Wrath ( who is mute 🤐 by choice due to past trauma) is just the epitome of evil 👿 his disturbing and morbid kinks are not for the weak ! He truly showed the MFC Aurelia no mercy!! I don’t know if I personally could survive his wicked ways … phew 😮‍💨 🥵

MFC “Aurelia/ Arabella “ is reunited with her sister “Noir “ at Oddity. At first she is truly terrified by the happenings surrounding this dark & mysterious circus .
She meets Wrath and soon becomes intrigued and gravitates through him and his psycho ways. Their chemistry and the spice 😮‍💨 in this story is just on a different level. It’s so brutal but it’s almost like two tortured souls finding each other and healing each other. Even if it’s in an unconventional way.

Overall I truly enjoyed every minute of this unhinged universe and I’m super psyched for the third book in this series ”Hollow Soul” !! 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Before I get into the mental and emotional carnage I willingly signed up for (and do not regret for one single twisted second), let’s talk about the book itself.

Hollow Wrath is the sequel to Hollow Hellion—and yes, you could read it without the first book. But why would you deny yourself the slow, delicious descent into darkness that starts in book one? If Hell and Noir had you clutching your pearls, Wrath and Aurelia are about to snatch them right off your neck and sell them on the black market. This is darker, moodier, and a whole lot more… spicy in morally questionable ways.

Fair warning: this book is basically a mental health demolition derby. Taboo topics? Oh, honey—plural. The author doesn’t just push boundaries; they jump in stilettos right over the fence, land on the other side, and invite you to follow. And yes, there’s a happy ending, so you can unclench your jaw… eventually.

I’ll admit it: the first few chapters tested my patience. We’ve got a female lead who’s been through enough trauma to qualify for a lifetime achievement award, still figuring herself out, paired with a beginning that’s explicit in ways that make you blink, look around, and think, *Oh… so we’re doing this right away.*
Wrath and Aurelia? Two gloriously broken disasters who wear their damage like designer couture. The more you learn about their pasts, the more you realize their darkness isn’t just baggage—it’s their love language. And they don’t just tolerate it. They thrive in it.

The book dives into surrender, dominance, control—and as someone recently tiptoeing (okay, stomping) into the D/s world, I felt seen. The push-pull between rebellion and submission, that delicious need for someone to earn the right to have you on your knees? Oh, it’s all here. Not everyone gets to see the docile side—and even at our lowest, we’re still a storm worth fearing.


This is a story about the gloriously messed-up—people, pasts, societies—all tangled in a tether of trust, loyalty, and unapologetic darkness.

Four stars from me, only because the beginning was a slog. But once it gets going? I couldn’t put it down. My soul’s a little bruised, my morals are in time-out, and honestly? I’d do it again.

500/10 stars omg I love Jodie so much I would love to sit inside her brain for a whole day just to figure out how she comes up with such unhinged things. JUST WOWWWW!! Circus erotic horror is a whole different level of dark romance & then pair it up with the DR queen herself? Welcome back to Oddity YESSSS!!!! I devoured this expeditiously and I am so appreciative to have received an ARC it was such a wild ride. All the fucking stars!

AHHHHHHH finally.... I felt like ive waited a lifetime for Wraths book and finally its here! I felt like id never left Oddity, and was thrown straight back into the madness. It was THE BEST RIDE omg, Wrath THAT MAN?! Where do i even start with him.. hes EVERYTHING, is he off his nut? HELL YES, but is he so beautifully broken we love him anyway? OF COURSE WE DO. He absolutely melted me i stg, he had me biting my knuckles then swooning the next. I had absolutely no idea how unpredictable he'd be, and still Jodie had me open mouthed shocked so many times, but i was feral for it. Wrath had such a way with words, as feral as he was, he spoke like a poet. His words were always beautiful, and meaningful. I found myself highlighting almost every line of Wrath's. He melted me honestly.... who knew that wrecked and black heart, could be so warm, for the right woman.

Aurelia wow, loved her so much. She had so much resilience and strength and just straight up fire in her blood, that she was the perfect match for Wrath. They complemented each other so much... She was everything Wrath never knew he needed, and he was everything Aurelia never knew she wanted. So both incredibly broken, they found their way, not fixed, but bound by their trauma's, and they wouldn't have it any other way. They both saw beauty in their brokenness, and loved eachother even more because of it.

Jodie pulled some absolute incredible spice out of this book, refreshing and not something id read before. A few of those scenes (IYKYK) will live rent free. Honestly.... the tension in this was HIGH. Like Jodie always knows how to get us fired up, and i was already on edge from the very early chapters, their early interactions had me gasping honestly...

Soul had me giggling, what a man. Cant wait for his book. Loved seeing more of Blush, Hell & Noir too.

This is another incredible book, in what is already a incredible series. Jodie absolutely smashed it, like she always does, and i am super excited for future books of the series.

With each release, i see Jodies writing becoming better and better, she has grown so much and i just know she works so hard and puts her absolute heart and soul into these books, these characters we love so much and it really shows. I will never not love this shit out of a Jodie book. This is some of her best work yet for sure.

Of course its a 5 star read for me.

I have a few things to say.

1) I really enjoyed Wrath.
2) I feel like I thought this book was going to be a lot darker than Hollow Hellion but I feel like Hellion’s book was more unhinged? Or maybe I’m more desensitised?
3) There were SO many grammatical errors that just pissed me off in this book. I don’t know if anyone else gets irrationally annoyed at that, but I certainly do.
4) I want a Blush book. I also want more of chapter 25.
5) I can’t wait to read Hollow Soul.

I thought hell was dark.. then comes wrath who bulldozed his way in... deranged n dark n absolutely delicious.
This book was absolutely perfect , the story line n plot was perfect, the spice was incredible

wow... another amazing Jodie King book right here!! all the stars, I will be screaming over Wrath and Aurelia forever!! honestly this review is hard to write because this book literally stole my heart and I feel like I don't have good enough words to describe what a master piece this book is!

Hollow Wrath is beyond dark, it's a black pit and there is no light shining through. Wrath himself is literally hell in a hand basket and my goddddd did that man make me feel things I didn't even know we're possible! If you thought Hollow Hellion made you question you're sanity then I promise you Wrath will make you question your whole life.

Aurelia, ugh my girl, I freakin love her SO much. she is a god damn goddess that is filled with darkness and she oozes all the revenge. Aurelia is not weak and she is not afraid, not anymore, this girl will give Wrath the ultimate challenge. To not kill her.

Wrath and Aurelia's relationship is chaos, dark, twisted and full of situations that will leave you absolutely gasping. They definitely feed off each others madness, but boy do they ever challenge each other and gain trust from those situations. Wrath and Aurelia are hands down one of my new favourite couples, I am absolutely living for insanity that these two have!

I thought Hollow Hellion was twisted, but nope Hollow Wrath takes the fuckery level up a few notches.

Some of the scenes made my eyes twitch in this one....Hollow Wrath really keeps you on the edge of your seat. Wrath is downright twisted & unpredictable....and that's what i loved most about this character.

I loved our heroine, Arabella/Aurelia's strength. She's the perfect match for Wrath's madness. 🖤 her rage, strength, and vulnerability.

I highly recommend checking out this series. 😈

Before reading Hollow Wrath, you will need to read Book 1, Hollow Hellion. Another great read.

So apparently I'm fine with some barbwire bondage and fisting - I mean when you look at the world with rose coloured glasses red flags just look like flags.

I have to admit, I was a little worried Wrath wouldn't live up the hype, but I'm pleased to say that he did. I loved how unhinged and borderline psychotic he was. I enjoyed how King utilised methods to allow him to have a voice even though he's a by choice mute.

I liked Aurelia more than Noir in the end; she seemed sassier and more confident in herself throughout so had (for me) a more stable character arc. I also love how she approached and managed Wrath throughout.

I was invested in the beginning, then do admit I got little bored around the 60% mark but powered through and the ending was worth it. It's a little repetitive in terms of comparing to Hellion, but I still enjoyed viewing events through a different characters eyes and having their 'voice' add to the overall atmosphere of oddity.

I will be adding Soul to my TBR when it's released as I'm deep enough in the world that I want to see how it ends.

Do be warned though - Wrath is dark... trigger loaded (some might say flowing out the pages). It's absolutely better suited for those reader who suck down trigger warnings like they're your favourite milkshake rather than those new to the genre...work up to this one.

At the End of this book I was speechless.

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip back to Oddity!

Wrath literally had my heart in a swooning chokehold wrapped up in chains and barbed wire! Aurelia was such a badass FMC! I loved learning her story and Wrath’s story too. The book flowed so well. It was extra dark and unhinged. With a few WTF moments that had me gasping….and then giggling and kicking my feet! I love that it just kept getting a little darker and darker as it went on. This book had everything! Chemistry, trauma, drama, revenge, insane spicy scenes! OMG The tunnel. The scene with soul and Blush….. Feral!!!

If you like absolutely unhinged dark reads then this book is for you. Please be sure to read Hollow Hellion first before this.

Hollow Wrath! The 2nd book in the Hollows trilogy!! OMG! Just WOW! This book was sick and twisted in the most delicious way

This is a Dark Horror Erotica Romance with plenty of Triggers that you should read before proceeding

The MMC Wrath, a selected mute is soo unhinged that he gets off on a corpse, just the feel of there last dying breath leaving there body. His past is dark! But you get to find out the reason behind it all in this book. What this man does and feels for Aurelia makes you fall hard for him

The FMC Aurelia, Damn this girl doesn’t let anything break her down completely, she has been through so much aswell which you also find out.

So much spice! The objects make your jaw drop!

The way Jodie King writes you just eat it all up!

This book was everything! This is dark circus erotic horror and you do need to have read Hollow Hellion (book 1 in the connecting series).
Wrath & Aurelia are something else. I love Aurelia (circus name) so much. She's fragile but strong and when she makes a connection with Wrath, everything is on the line. Wrath has certain proclivities and urges that are tested around Aurelia and despite their dual depravity, only he can break down and help rebuild Aurelia from her traumatic past. This has everything, chemistry, vengeance, insane spice! The scene with Soul & Blush had me feral. Jodie King is such a great writer, technically and her style feels fresh & innovative. I'm deeply obsessed with Wrath & Aurelia. I don't know whether I'd survive him ha but i'd die happy trying! Please check triggers - this is darker than Hollow Hellion.

Jodie king did it again! She’s amazing! I wish I could crawl into her brain as she writes these books!
This was a great arc read and I’m beyond grateful to have gotten it!
I’ve been dying to know more about wrath since hollow hellion and woah 🥵 he’s unhinged and I’m here for it. I love how he completely opened up to Aurelia and changed for her - it was beautiful to see.
I can only imagine how Hollow Soul will be!

I loved how depraved Wrath was in all that he did! He didn’t hold back with Aurelia but being the badass she was, she took all of his wrath!

When the spice was spicing, oh my days!!!

Wrath is obsessive, possessive and completely unhinged and I loved him! Aurelia is strong, feisty and her gothic aesthetic made me fall inlove with her just as much!!!

I read this in one sitting & regret nothing. 🫢 if you’ve never read a Jodie King book you are missing out big time. Her stories, her writing, her spice, & characters draw you in & keep you immersed the entire time and even after you’re done.

I honestly have no idea how Jodie’s deranged beautiful mind comes up with half the things that were in these books 🤣 but I loved every second of it.

I personally want Wrath to run me over with his motorcycle and then choke me out & fck my dead body, but that’s just me. 🖤 🥲

Whelp, didn’t mean to practically binge that in one sitting, but here we are.

I am obsessed. The Hollows, Oddity, the Oddity Girls, Madame. All of it. I can’t wait for book 3 to see Soul’s story.

The author wasn’t lying when they warned that this book was darker than Hollow Hellion. Kinda felt a little queasy in some bits, and that same scene definitely solidified that I am not into some kinks.

But let me tell you, Wrath can get it.

Wow this was insane! Infinity stars! I think I may actually prefer this one to hellions story. This was serious dark, deranged and super spicy! Wrath 🥵 wow just wow. Can’t wait for souls story now! Definitely recommend this book.
