Angela Bull (Mary, née Leach) was born at Halifax, Yorkshire, England on September 28, 1936.
She was educated at Badminton School and at Edinburgh University where she graduated with honours in English 1959.

This book is a very brief collection of tales about Robin Hood. Was he a real person? The author gives a good quick discussion of this question, and gives some of the historical evidence for the authenticity of some of the characters in the Robin Hood stories.
