Escape Room: A deadly game of cat and mouse

Rate this book
It was meant to be fun. Now they’re dying to leave.

O’Malley and Swift join the rest of the MCU for what’s supposed to be a well-earned break from the chaos of their day jobs. A luxury Escape Room. When Evans turns up last minute to complete the group, they know they’ve got the winning team.

But the moment the doors lock behind them, things start to feel off.

The puzzles are cruel. The tasks are twisted. And the “game” doesn’t end when the timer hits zero.

Someone has built a house of horrors—designed to maim, torture, and kill. And he’s not going to stop until he’s had his fun.

He wanted victims. He got O’Malley and Swift.

Can they solve the clues before the Escape Room claims its next victim?

ESCAPE The thirteenth instalment in the best-selling O'Malley & Swift series, is a thrilling cat and mouse tale of obsession and fantasy. Perfect for readers of Alex Smith, JD Kirk, and LJ Ross.

Really good story. I never want to go to an escape Room. I liked how they put the pieces togeather to figure out what was happening and who was responsible. I recommend reading this book.

have you noticed? O'Malley and Swift books work the best when it's just the team and murderers and no Mim and other annoying O'Malleys.

This was fantastic and I loved the escape room setting.

Why it's not a 5 star book is because it doesn't make sense, that this happened over years and no one was investigating?

But otherwise it was fun and I was really fearing for some of their team.

Good edition to the series

I loved the reprisal of a previous killer however I wish the book was longer. It went far too quickly, the pacing made sense but personally I would have loved for it to have been abit longer.

Loved this book. As ever with this series. Love the characters. Love the plot. I didn’t recall the details of the first book that was referred back to as it’s been some time since I read it but there was enough of an explanation that I could still follow the story.

Great start to the book, very tense - reminded me of the start to book 3 of the Kett series by her brother. Enjoyed this story, relentless pace.

That sound you hear is the author scraping the bottom of the barrel. Pathetically boring to the point that I quit before getting half way through the book.
