Rodman Edward "Rod" Serling (December 25, 1924–June 28, 1975) was an American screenwriter and television producer, best known for his live television dramas of the 1950s and his science fiction anthology TV series, The Twilight Zone.
In the fifth story, "The Man in the Bottle," a man wishes he was the ruler of a foreign country, that he can't be removed from office, and that it isn't a third world country. He wakes up as Hitler right as enemy forces are closing in.
