The one thing you can learn about Luci’s writing style is it’s filled with funny and amazing Aussie banter and culture. She can make you smile and laugh and have a little bit to make you emotionally invested in the characters she is writing. This series isn’t just about Brax and Charlie, it’s the journey of them and their whole group of wild and crazy friends, who are their family. Every side character is amazing, Chester being one of my faves, but it’s Brax and Charlie who are the glue that brings them all together. Brax and Charlie have a fun and sometimes adorable relationship. They just are fun to read.

This being book three it focused on this new life’s path Brax and Charlie are starting. They are parents now and their daughter goes on her first tour with the whole
Gang. I loved how seamlessly they stepped into the role and how easily she became a part of their life. Being a top-tier hip-hop artist has its perks. But like anyone Luci has hinted in there that Brax has other dreams now and things he thought were important aren’t as important. It was very clear that Brax’s career and direction were changing. We get snip-it’s of what it will be with a new artist that we meet named Jasper. Brax plays an instrumental role in his dream and future career in the music industry.

Luci still brings the heat and there are some funny moments with it. Chester isn’t the only c0ck blocker they have now. The little hints of the future their lives will be when their kids are older make me excited to read them too.
