I've been some semblance of a writer since 1st grade. That was when I first tasted the delight of getting a book published and reading it aloud to the class with rave reviews. What a power trip for a 7-year-old.
It wasn't until 7th grade that I was highly encouraged by my English teacher to continue writing poetry outside of class assignments. From there I moved on to Literary Club in 8th grade and added short stories to my repertoire.
When high school came around, that was when I discovered the wondrous world of FanFiction. It all went downhill from that point. Numerous teachers in high school loved my work and submitted some of my (safe) pieces for publication. My teachers were the reason that I told myself,
"I can do this. I can be a published author one day."
In college, the trend continued but I pursued a career path in the design sector and writing went on the back burner. That is until a month after THE GREATEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE, in 2022, I decided to start writing once again. It started with FanFic after FanFic, fast and furious.
Writing is my passion, my escape. Always has been, always will be.
This is officially my new favorite sports romance! I could not put this book down, it had everything I love: swoony chemistry, real character depth, and so much baseball. Not only was the spice on point, but I loved how authentically the game was woven into the story. Total win for sports romance lovers!
Candace and Jamie completely stole my heart. Their banter? Perfection. Their tension? Off the charts. And that chemistry once it hits? Game-changing. I also really appreciated the dual POV, getting both sides made their connection feel so much richer.
And I need the next book in this series ASAP, because I am not ready to leave this world.
Also, shout-out to the playlist, one of the best I’ve seen in a romance. It fit the mood of the story so well!
this is my new favorite romance book! I love baseball, been a dbacks fan since I was a kid and a bananas fan for a year now. I absolutely love Jamie ❤️ yeah he starts out as a grumpy guy who thinks ebl is dumb but I love that he slowly opens up and becomes more relaxed to it. and the spicy scenes omg!!! absolutely 1000% recommend

This book was a home run. It was spicy, full of baseball puns that are conveniently already sexual innuendos. The characters had so much chemistry. There was tension, and good banter, and so much love. Not just from the main characters but you could feel joy radiating from the pages. There's toy play, butt play, lots and lots of spice and now I need to go to a Savannah Bananas game
I'm so curious about the next book because that seems like an angsty, grumpy vibe.
