He walked away on their wedding day. Now he’ll burn the world to get her back.
"I’ll never marry you! Since you took a ring from another man, you can marry him!"
Dante Kingsley never imagined his own jealousy would cost him everything. One reckless mistake—one moment of blind rage— and he shattered the woman who was his.
For months, Anya lived under his roof, enduring his stares that turned from cold to possessive, from distant to scorching.
She was his. His woman. His possession.
But then, on their wedding day, he left her. Walked away without a glance. Broke her heart like it meant nothing.
And now, Luca Stanson—a man no one dares to touch—is claiming her instead.
"You are the girl I’ve been searching for over a decade. My first love."
Luca’s words cut like a knife, but the real agony comes when Anya walks away, choosing a life where Dante no longer exists.
Regret is a slow poison. Watching her slip through his fingers is killing him.
She was his first. She will be his last.
And if she thinks she can escape him…
She’ll learn that Dante doesn’t chase. He takes.

Okay sooooo this was about all over the place for me, I’m not sure where to begin. Not going to lie at first I thought Dante and Anya were related and there was an incest relationship going on since they kept calling the same man grandpa, but it turned out, thankfully, they were not related.
However, there was so much going on the book starts off with Anya getting thrown out by her “mother”, Mrs. Fox, who apparently wasn’t her mother; apparently Mrs. Fox lost her daughter in the park and took Anya thinking that she was her daughter and raised her for the next 20 years, but once she found out, Anya wasn’t her daughter when her real daughter showed up, she kicked Anya out ASAP. Meanwhile, as this is happening, Anya’s biological father, Charles, is literally looking for her, and on his way to get her from the Fox household. Since Anya didn’t know, Charles was on his way she had nowhere to go, but grandpa Fox, who loved Anya had his best friend take her in, which was grandpa Kingsley, which is how she met Dante. You can say that Anya and Dante had quite the meeting since the first time she met him, he was completely naked and shocked. Dante did not seem too pleased with the new house guest, though Anya was very grateful to grandpa Kingsley, she wouldn’t let Dante intimidate her.
I forgot to mention that Charles is basically the most wealthiest man in business, so not only is Anya his long lost daughter, she is also the long lost heiress of his empire. Remember, I said there’s a lot going on well this is just a tip of the iceberg. Because not even 5% into the book, Dante and Anya are already going at it and mind you he didn’t even like her and she was giving him a hard time back; but now they seem to be in love. However, Dante was betrothed to another Oman who hai mother was obsessed with so she hated Anya.
Now I don’t really mind insta-love in a story, but where I really got lost was Dante‘s immaturity and over the top jealousy. He would constantly make accusations, not exactly apologize and when he’d ask her for an explanation right and when she’s gonna explain, he’d walk out; he did this about 2 to 3 times and it was really annoying and I was glad that Anya didn’t instantly forgive him.
However, I also had issues with Anya, her keeping the secret of who she was at first I understood because it made sense, but she kept that secret way past the due date. Also, her relationship with Luca was a little bit too friendly, especially with the jewelry. It may have been platonic on her side, but it definitely wasn’t on his and Dante had merit to be angry about that. My last issue with her was not telling Dante about what his mother did to her because that was completely unacceptable and dangerous; there really was no need for her to keep that secret she could have been egregiously hurt.
In the end, she winds up, forgiving him for everything he did after she swore she wouldn’t, but I just felt like he didn’t really learn anything. He still was a possessive butt mole, and I felt like she was an unnecessary self sabotaging person as well.
I believe the next book is the last book which is a bit of disappointment since Tristan never got his book.
So we had a long lost heiress who was essentially kidnapped as a child, and raised by a woman she thought loved her, but once her real daughter was found was kicked to the curb. Found by her real father and family who really did love her brought her in and loved her as they always wanted. But before she was found by her father was taken in by her grandfather‘s best friend and fell in love with his grandson who treated like glass one moment then shattered the next. He was also betrothed to an heiress at the same time turns out it was Anya all the time but she didn’t want him to know. His mother almost has her assaulted and raped because she gets in the way of her plans; Anya doesn’t tell him. He ends up figuring out her heiress secret but thinks she loves Luca, her father’s associate, because of her actions and Dante’s jealousy and possessiveness. They break up and get back together a few times and he leaves her at the alter but in the end they get together and he learns of his mother’s actions.

I really enjoyed the interactions between Dante and Anya. I like that Dante eventually admitted that he was clueless on how to handle his emotions and really started to listen to the people around him and to her. I feel like some of what was said in the dialog between the two could be said in real life.
My favorite scene in the entire series is in this book. It's when Dante and Luca go to the jewelry store together. I had to read it twice because the scene was so damn funny.
I will say I was confused about how Anya came to live with the Foxes in the first place. I get that the Foxes lost their daughter at an amusement park, but when they see a little girl that looked close enough to the real one its like they said 'screw it, this one will do.' I understand the stories with mix ups at the hospital with newborns, but these girls were two years old. How clueless was the mom that she didn't know she kept the wrong kid all these years? And wouldn’t the Carters have reported their missing child and have it blaring on every known outlet? And technically speaking, Mrs. Foxe kidnapped Anya. Where is her punishment for that? Oh, well, I guess there had to be some background drama, and this was done well enough.
I really feel like these books are getting better and better with each story. I am looking forward to reading more of Ava Selwyn's works.
tantrum throwing utter bastard MC and pathetic utterly pitiful FMC. She had two choices, go for the green forest, the one who always supported her, was unselfish in his love, was caring, kind, sacrificing and one whole giant red ball guy who can't look beyond his pride and selfishness. Whom do you think this utter idiotic disgusting FMC choses..... offcourse the loathsome Dante. Clearly the author loves doormat MCs for writing such an atrocious story. I didn't like the way of characters getting portrayed from the very first, but continued forward since this was my first book by this author, one of my worst mistakes made. Don't waste your money, time and sanity , if you don't like reading about utter doormat fmc with the body betrayal syndrome.

The premise of the book was so good but unfortunately the story did not lived up to it It coukd have been an a great story; the Hero leaves the heroine at the alter in a moment of jealousy. However, tge reality was...disappointing. Dante behaved badly. Treated Anya badly. Super jealous he just walked out and keft her moments before a backward glance and replaced her as his secretary. When she tried to explain ge would literally walk out without lessening. Behaved like a brat having temper tantrums. Anya is not better; allowing this behaviour, givingsecond vhsnces shen should have walk away. It was messy, annoying and frankly tiring. ,
Another terrific book from this Billionaire series. I have heart eyes for Dante. I loved how Dante and Anya had their first encounter. And for a v!gin hero, Dante sure knew his way around a woman's body! This story was so good, the hero is jealous and possessive. The heroine is stubborn but I love that she sticks up for what she deserves and needs from Dante. There was some "other man" drama that made for some fun jealous moments from Dante. I'll be so sad when this series is over!
I have loved all the books in this series, and this one was no exception. It was emotional, over the top possessive, and full of face fanning steam. Did I want to punch Dante through a lot of the book? Oh absolutely!! I honestly got frustrated with Anya some too. But you could tell how right they were for each other and just wanted to see them figure it out. If you haven’t checked out this author and this series, I highly recommend it!!
Honestly the story is confusing. First the FL is removed from her fake home then sent at a family friends place. than she is treated like a princess then she is the princess. but i don't get the fact where she can say the truth and go ahead with the date but she does the exact opposite. i really didn't like this story. the author could do much better give the previous books. This story feels like a chinese manhwa. like webcomic.
Honestly - this has got the best plot by far. The only problem I have, is the part where he had to get intimate with her. Locked in a room with swarming cockroaches. He had to have her, when she was scared and panicking.
Of course, the girl is not saint either. But really…with cockroaches as the audience, who could do anything in that situation???
But regardless, it was a good plot. Kind of reminded me those typical China Drama Series, but minus the shex.

This book was confusing af and felt like reading a Wattpad story without the editing and the ads. The plot jumps around, the characters don’t make much sense, and the whole thing drags with way too much unnecessary drama. If you like messy, over-the-top billionaire romance, maybe give it a shot—but it’s definitely not for everyone.
This one is my favorite of the series so far. The relationship development and chemistry was spot on with emotional feel. The h emotional feel on potentially looking the heroine was heartbreaking. No OW drama and had a sweet HEA. Much improved as far as the flow and storyline development.
I love her books, love the jealousy scenes the possessive H My only complains is the groveling part at the end of these books tends to be boring, I be ready to fall asleep I'm sorry 😞 idk why? But I find them lacking
Safe Virgin H No history for h mentioned No op during separation. I didn’t connect to this couple as much as others in the series but enjoyed irrespective. Def gave the feels

This is the seventh addition to the Obsessed Billionaires, Cherished Brides series. Dante, Luca and Anya’s story is very emotional. Dante has hurt her more than once and Luca is there to love her and pick up the pieces. It’s a story of love, possessiveness, betrayal, regret and passion. I enjoyed it.
Anya was kidnapped when she was very young. The family who took her had also lost their own daughter, and now that their daughter has returned, Anya's mother, who she thought loved her, throws her out. With nowhere to go, her grandfather sends her to a friend, where she meets Dante. This is their story—an emotional journey. I absolutely love this series!
This one was better. The hero had two HUGEEEEE screw ups...and didn't grovel enough in my opinion. And calling out your evil family member and cutting them off doesn't really make up for what you did to the heroine, again TWICE. But there was a plot in here, so I like it better than the other couple I've read by this author.
