R.K. Lilley has been a writer since she can remember, but has held down some interesting jobs to pay the bills. For several years she was a first class flight attendant, and she always swore that she just had to write a book about it. Mixing her love of romance and all things BDSM, the Up In the Air Trilogy is her debut into the world of contempary romance and erotica. She is currently working on the final installment in the series.

Just don’t. It’s like a satire but I don’t think the author meant for that…

Workplace Tyrant is an engaging, sizzling romance that masterfully balances tension, humor, and emotional stakes. R.K. Lilley’s portrayal of Turner and Devereux’s dynamic, full of obsession, wit, and mutual challenge, pulls the reader in from the very first page. The push-and-pull between their personalities keeps the narrative charged, and the careful attention to Devereux’s intelligence and independence makes the romance feel earned rather than clichéd. Lilley’s style keeps the pacing brisk while allowing room for character growth, resulting in a story that is both thrilling and heartwarming.

Fans of contemporary romance and workplace dynamics will appreciate the balance of steam, humor, and character depth.
